NEGATIVE experience of Geekbuying.com purchase and service.
Incorrect information on Geekbuying.com (Cube Iwork8 wifi with 5000 mAh battery). Prior to purchase I requested confirmation that it was 5000 mAh and not 3300 mAh battery. Geekbuying confirmed by email that it was a 5000 mAh battery.
I therefore thought Cube had upgraded the battery of the wifi version so I ordered one from Geekbuying.com.
Received with 3300 mAh battery. When I indicated the problem, they checked with Cube, said sorry for the errors and corrected their website but refused to replace tablet received.
Impossible to return tablet received without paying return shipment to China (27 euros). Impossible to use Spanish warehouse for return even though they charged me an extra $2.99 for this service when I ordered.
After many email exchanges without getting anywhere, I mentionned PAYPAL dispute. Their response was that they would also charge me restocking fee, plus any repairs if the tablet was damaged or scratched. As compensation they offered me $10 refund if I kept the tablet.
To end the hassle, I will keep the tablet with limited battery life (about 3 hours of light use). Will try to sell tablet, probably at a loss, but less expensive than return to China.
Obviously I will NOT use Geekbuying.com for the replacement tablet and I would not recommend anyone to buy from them.
Verdict: Even though they have the Paypal buyer protection logo on their website, Geekbuying.com is not to be trusted.
I placed my first order with them a month ago and chose DHL expedited shipping (extra shipping fees).
For DHL they promised around 5 business days for shipping...
Oh, how naive I was to believe in these unicorns...
Guess what?! After one month I contacted them back to ask about the whereabouts of my package. A part of it was sent with a Chinese shipping service (SF-Express), and not DHL, as I chose and paid for!
This partial order is lost in the mail - I didn't get it and the tracking number says it's been in Spain for 2 weeks, just sitting here... somewhere.
The second part of the order wasn't even shipped!
Only when I contacted them repeatedly they told me it wasn't shipped and the products are not available any longer, so I should chose something else.
Needless to say, they didn't mention which products were sent and which weren't - Geekbuying just doesn't care about you.
I wonder, what would have happened if I didn't ask about the package?
Geekbuying doesn't give a rat's aas about you... for them, you're just another customer that's going to get lured by good prices and end up being scammed!
I required a refund and I'm committed to wage war against these scammers. The world needs to be aware of their practices!
I'll contact the Spanish Customer Protection Agency to file an official complaint. I wonder what they'll have to say about their tax evasion: all packages are taxed at $20 and declared as 'chargers', no matter what you buy.
Don't buy from them, don't recommend them, don't make another potential customer lose their money!

Thankfully i used paypal. After they responded they promised me they would refund me for the shipping too which cost over $70 because its heavy. I Returned it and never received the refund and they are not replying. VERY DISHONEST AND SHADY!

Warning for fake reviews or censored reviews at Geekbuying!
I bought a tablet which should be a really great tablet according to existing user reviews and description. But in reality it is a really useless tablet. Other "customers" who wrote reviews for this tablet must be fake reviews or they are complete idiots.
After I realizing that the tablet is really bad, I wanted to warn other potential buyers by writing a 2 star review about its problems, but Geekbuying never published it. I tried to send reviews 3 times but same result, it is never published. When searching other Geekbying producs I can only see 5 star reviews everywhere which will give the impression all their products are great. So it is a big scam, selling products with fake and/or censored customer reviews, often also with wrong description.
First line support they know nothing and give useless answers. First after the case been escalated you may get a better answer but their answers are usually they accept returns and I can buy another product after returning it in perfect condition (so they can sell it again). Since I have to pay for return shipping and there are no guarantees they will refund me, then it is often not worth the troubles.
Some other sitejabbers may believe Geekbuying support is great, but keep in mind it is hard to get an good support from them. There are many errors in their products description pages (maybe due to copy descriptions from other similar products without checking it up first).
I had the same problem with two different shops. First i bought an android tv box (Alfawise Z28 Pro) from gearbest which worked only for one day. I send them email and they answered very fast and after the suggestions from them didn't work they offered me only one day later full refund. GEARBEST AFTER SALE SUPPORT 10/10. After one month a made the mistake ordering from geekbuying because of the european warehouse. I ordered H96 PRO Plus for 67.76.The item worked well for two weeks, but suddenly stopped working. I contact them with photos and videos and after one week they answered with a typical email, i answered back that the item still dont work and thats it. After two months and many emails to them i am still waiting for a response. GEEKBUYING AFTER SALE SUPPORT 0/10. They don't even answer.
On 11-07-2017 I ordered a waterproof Blackview BV7000 pro. After arriving at my destination for three weeks, my little girl escaped into the water knowing I was waterproof I did not trouble but after half an hour it closed and did not start. I talked to the Geekbuyng and sent it on the warranty on 14-08-2017, and on 25-10 I was told that if I want to pick up the phone I have to pay 159 usd, since I paid on him 170 euros and since then he constantly pressures me that if I do not pay 159usd I can not get it anymore Does it mean that the guarantee Geekbuyng offers is of no value. I see that most people here have positive experiences of Geekbuying. And I understand that when everything works out good it is positive. But not so when the product delivered show up as DOA (dead on arrival). That happened me with a fairly expensive item worth about US$ 230 from Geekbuying.
Ok, after a long delay with videos that proofed my case, they acknowledged that they should pay back my money. Also the freight costs of the return, on slightly more than US$35 for the cheapest way of transportation. I also claimed for the quite unessecary customs costs of US$ 27, as the item sent, was faulty from the beginning.
Ok, long story short. After 20 emails to them and back, I finally got my money for the item and had many struggles to get back only a part of the freight costs. They had initially fully agreed upon those, but when it came to reality, they did not want to pay more than just over half of it. US$ 20 insted of 35.
So after a long wait for the item, and then after that, also more than a month of struggling I lost US$ 42 on this business with Geekbuying. For nothing!
I understand that people are positive when things go right, so also for me, but when it works out wrong, there are better companies to deal with. I have much better experiences with both Banggood.com and DX.com. And yes, it has gone wrong in some of their businesses too, but they treated their little customer much better.

So, my first experience in ordered from Greekbuying is good and on next orders I expected the same Service.
GeekBuying was difficult to reach, gave unreliable information and didn't deliver. Bought a robot vacuum cleaner which was in stock according to the website (24 in stock). The order then was stuck on the processing stage for about 12 days before I replied what was happening, as their "probable maximum" of delivery days was getting closer. Didn't hear from them for days and inquired via a chat. Kind woman replied my order wasn't available, despite the site still claiming having 24 in stock. It would come later. Email finally responded a few days later with nearly incomprehensible English with the same story. Days later they informed me I needed a different more expensive delivery service, which I accepted. Even longer they replied that the extra items in the package weren't in stock and if I wanted to wait on that. I declined and after a few days I recieved all money back, with the exception of the extra paid for the other delivery service. After some more emails I received this back too.

I purchased the GPD Pocket laptop from the geekbuying.com warehouse in Germany, after seeing the announcement of this product online.
The GPD Pocket has a very fast high end 4 x core Atom processor, plenty of RAM and SSD storage space to make this a responsive and useful touch screen laptop. Its faster than the Windows Surface 3. (not the Pro model).
Its so light and easy to pack makes it highly portable device. The build and screen quality is excellent and pretty much equivalent to Apple's products. I had a small problem with the Windows Home license (nothing to do with the GPD) and the Customer Support Agent, Una, attended to this quickly and very professionally, thereby resolving my problem.
Cons:
You can't run too many programs at once as it loads up the smallish processor, otherwise its quick enough. Screen 7" size might be to small for someone that likes a big screen surface. Using the 'Hide Task Bar' Setting, and increasing text size to 235 magnification, helps.

Geekbuying.com was a terrible experience. Its client support is by far one of the worst in many years that I buy online. In the event that your product is faulty you will find yourself in real trouble to get it fixed or replaced in a fair way.
I bought a Mi PRO Notebook from china and payed extra money to get it repaired in EU if something went wrong. Only after 3 months, I informed Geekbuying.com that the notebook was having a annoying electric shielding problem, and as time went by the problem worsen. 10 months after getting the notebook I sent it for repair in Poland and payed for the shipment. Unbelievably, after almost 2 months, several mails and telling me that the notebook was repaired I got the notebook back almost in the same FAULTY condition.
Finally they recognized Poland's office incompetence to fix the issue and when I insisted to resend the item back for a 2nd time they told me it was too expensive for them, offering me a 200 eur money back, on an item that cost me almost 800 eur.
One last important issue is that, in my opinion, when they sell from their base offices in Europe like Spain, Poland Germany and Italy they must comply with the 2 yr EU warranty for their products and services and they are illegally offering you 1 yr warranty only.
Geekbuying.com NEVER again... keep away.

I ordered two Kugoo electric scooters from geekbuying to Greece. M4 and M2 PRO. I received them after 10 days and on the first ride both of them stopped working. Kugoo M4 showed E-006 and Kugoo M2 PRO is just dead, doesn't respond to anything. I have sent multiple e-mails to the after sales service as well as to the live chat which constantly addresses me to after sales and nothing more. After one week that they keep telling for a replace while I was asking for a full refund, they told me to inform them about the shipping cost of the return in order to answer me if they will cover it! They do not give me a RS Label for UPS and they continuously asking me to inform them about the cost. In addition, today when I reached live chat for one more time, they showed me a screenshot of a fake discussion between me and after sales. Now they tell me that after sales is off to work for now and they will respond now. So to conclude, I paid over 1000 euros for two defected items and now their after sales service asks me to pay the huge amount of return without offering RS Label (return services) and without knowing if I am going to get full refund. If I won't get full refund excluding shipping costs of return I am going to sue geekbuying and I will address to european consumer advocate.
So, do yourself a favor and buy anywhere else but on this site.
