Purchased a gaming set up for nearly 10,000 aed. Ordering was easy and advice was freely given. Purchase arrived quickly and was as described. 7 days later the computer stopped working, likely problem is a bust graphics card. Emailed the company but due to limited people in the office they were slow to reply. Courier collected the broken computer, fixed it within a week and courier delivered 2 days later. Why 4 stars and not 5? Communication with the company is difficult. Could be due to covid 19 restrictions.
I have experienced fraud in dealing with Gear-up. I purchased a Samsung kiosk which comes in a screen + connection box. What they send is only screen. Upon raising a complaint about the missing box, they tried saying the price is for screen only. I produced their link through which I made the purchase. Nowhere on they could point out that it's a screen only price. Entire catalogue and link shows picture of screen and connection box. I would urge buyers to stay away from the fraudster company. I am taking this company legal anyways.
I got my first gaming rig built from Gear-up and it was very important that everything is spot on. These guys made it possible by matching my requirements and specifications. James was very patient and helpful with his suggestions. Delivery was on time and well managed. There's nothing more I could ask for, oh and they offer great after sales service as well.

It seems like the graphics card has artifacts that are a manufacturing defect and we have already contacted the manufacturer for help.

Made an order on 9 October 2023 and today is 16 October 2023 and no delivery yet eventhough its mentioned in website its a 2-3 shipping period. When i made first order i suppose to award gear up point but i didnt even when i made the next order i asked them to update my gear up point and use it but no action and didnt accept it. When i made the second order ( payment at delivery) + order not yet shipped,, asked them politely to modify my order since its not yet shipped but they refused. Customer service is replying to you but based on my personal experience i had bad one.
Tip for consumers:
when i made cash on delivery order, i found a product way cheaper ( 595aed to 390aed ) i asked them i want to modify the order but didnt accept even order not yet shipped. so disappointed

I'm satisfied with the service and products received, having bought a custom PC as well as peripherals. Though there where some complications, James and team went the extra mile to assemble the PC in office to the specifications and within my time requirements. A special thanks to them, and I will be a returning customer for sure.
Very bad customer service. They promised to send a charger compatible to UAE but nothing received.
Their terms and conditions for the return and refund have extensive constraints (e.g. They charge 20% of the product price if you return it even sealed). Take home lesson: Do not buy again from this company.

Regarding our returns conditions, it is always evaluated based on the product's condition and the time frame of the return request. When there is any restocking fee it is used to cover the operation cost of the return of the product.

Could not be any happier with the build that the team put together. From initial chats with Lidel who is very helpful to the end product I am really happy with how it has turned out. I recently bought a keyboard from here and it was a bit troublesome at first but they had a very good customer service agent named Maynard, he helped me through my purchase. My keyboard arrived with some keys out of the sockets in the box though, but at least it wasn't damaged. My order was received swiftly. Even though the prices here is higher than usual. In the end I got what I wanted.

This company is really great as they provide instant service and treat anything and everything with extreme care. Recently my PCs ram broke and I emailed them, a very short time later they told me the would retrieve it that day and give it back to me the next day. I got it and it worked perfectly with low charge as my warranty for 12 months had expired. I would highly recommend this company as they are great and really kind and respectful to their customers!
For anyone ordering from Saudi Arabia be careful there are big difference in prices from currency to currency also they have a ton of hidden fee they will not tell you until your package arrived also they make you pay the VAT twice.
To check my word go and change the store currency and see the prices will go up and the (VAT Inclusive) mark will disappear be careful

Let me explain you step by step the pricing so you better understand and to clarify your confusion.
1) Yes, there are differences in between the values to pay if you select different currency as not all currencies are the same. In your case 1AED is not equal to 1SAR. That is why the values change when you switch the currency.
2) There are no hidden fees and we charge you only for the price of the item (without VAT as we are not KSA based company and we can’t collect KSA VAT) and for shipping. The VAT is collected by courier on behalf of your government as well as the import fees (if any are imposed by customs in your country).
3) As you said, all customers can check the prices on our website in their preferred currencies and the “VAT inclusive” sign appears only for AED as we collect the VAT from UAE customers.
4) We are very open about our T&C’s and every customer can check them on our website or ask about them our customer service. We highly doubt that you paid “double” and if that is the true you should rise a complaint with KSA customs.

I asked to cancel my laptop charger order and get my money back. The support service replied that they do not refund the money for the order, but can only provide a discount on another product. I consider it a violation of consumer rights

I've been buying from their web store few times already especially my Gaming PC, and i could say that they really know what this business is all about. My last order was delayed because it's EID Holiday well that was reasonable cause. They kept me updated and my order was delivered on the day they promised. Expert staffs who could deal with every question asked about all their product listing on website. Over all they are very professional, suggested to buy from them.
My 1st and only experience (so far), i bought a 5.25" internal card reader for my PC from them and what i have to say or i have noticed is:
(a) They sent the item in it's original box ONLY, it just arrived as it is so there were no protection packaging for the cases of falling or bumping or poor handling (Definitely a mistake from them), it's a small item and it was only put in the courier/shipper plastic bag!
(b) The box itself had signs of wear, tears and bumps (courier's fault) even though they were relatively minor however, luckily the item inside was in perfect brand new condition.
(c) The shipping of the item was actually slow considering that it's from a neighboring country (Emirates), it took around 20 days to arrive from a neighboring country while items from Amazon take 10-14 days to arrive from the US which is located i other continent!
Would i buy from them again in the near future? I probably would, but i hope this kind of negligence and these silly mistakes never happen again because it won't be tolerated.
