Bought this washer dryer set in September 2019. The washer has never worked the way it says. The only way I can fill the machine for larger loads is to use bulky setting then it never spins really well. As a result drying takes twice as long if you use any other cycle not enough water. I washed one single set of sheets and they came out 1/2 dry ( no water reached part of sheets). My electricity bill has gone up re using dryer so much. Repair man that came told me GE disabled the button you are to press to get extra fill when using the regular cycle that does spin the cloths well. V
Defective products, unprofessional repair department, buck-passing customer service. GE is no longer a high quality American brand.

The washing machine has only been working for 2 months and the maintenance guy repaired it 4 times in 2 months. Still can't fix the problem and I'm asking for a refund. Rejected by GE. Low quality product, very poor customer service. Don't waste your money.

Bought all 4 kitchen appliances, took on a warranty, thank God. Microwave has been broken longer then worked. All these appliances are only 2 yrs. Old. Refrigerator still.not.working correctly waiting on parts and tech to come once again. Dishwasher had a tech day after we got it. Stove is the only thing so far that hasn't broke down. (Knock on wood)

I really am in awe of how short lived for a $3500 refrigerator freezer last. The refrigerator was in my brand new home when we moved in in 2018. I have been trying to get it repaired for two years. With six different service appointments. Seriously if GE can't make refrigerators to last at least 10 years. You need to focus on something else like toy cars.
I called GE appliance repair to get my one-year-old GE dishwasher repaired. I have now been waiting 2 weeks for parts. Repairs were supposed to be done by February 13 ( today) called the customer care and was just informed that it will be another week before the parts are in. I never received a phone call, or email to let me know this was happening. I have now taken two days off to sit at home waiting for the repair man to come, and no one has bothered to show up or make a phone call. If this is the way General Electric customer care takes care of their customers, maybe it's time to look at other companies to purchase my appliances from.
This GE Profile oven takes FOREVER to preheat, and without exposed bottom heating elements, or even with the hidden ones, does a terrible job in baking items, especially our favorite home-baked pizza. Thin crust stays gummy and gets glued to the baking tray. Very poor design, folks, and not energy efficient, if we have to preheat for 30-40 minutes.
We would not have purchased if we had known this. Would not buy again. Very unhappy. Customer service was fine.
Kitchen is not 2 years old. Gorgeous and custom designed. Thank the lord that the dishwasher is a Bosch because every last one of the other appliances is GE and they all have problems. Some are minor such as the clock in the microwave already has a dead light at the bottom of the right most number. Not a major deal but super annoying in a new appliance. The others are not so minor. The wall oven does not cook evenly. The range has already had it's display board replaced and now the door does not stay fully closed. And the French-door refrigerator? Don't get me started on that. Its control panel beeps constantly. You cannot stay in the room with it. Technician says, "Can't be fixed. You'll have to buy a new refrigerator." What!?!?!? Well, it won't be a GE.
We are seniors and contacted GE. Worked with a customer service rep (Della) who was extremely helpful. Concerned about our problem and tried to resolve it. She was very caring and we e-mailed each other until we found a solution. I will continue to buy GE products because of this attention.
I really loved my experience with GE. Funny thing, you know when you buy something from a big company you always wonder how the service will be. I can tell you that the service from GE was excellent. The item I bought was damaged when it arrived. I called GE and a really polite worker immediately went to work to exchange my appliance for one that was not damaged. I received the new one within 3 days. Top class service and products
Our new microwave was purchased from "Wickford Appliance" in Pawtucket RI from manager Jeffrey Cardente and Michelle onsite. They were both very knowledgeable salespeople with great personality's and friendliness which made for a very pleasant visit. The Install was then set up and was to be installed on October 20,2022, the store and service tech who was coming to our home then kept in touch by texts and phone until arrival at our door. The Install went smoothly and took a quick 15 minutes from start to finish. Unfortunately, I was only able to get the techs first name Steve. He also was a very fast working, courteous, quick witted man with a personality in which was much appreciated. We would definitely use both your store and Install tech again anytime in the future. Oh, and we do love our new microwave.
We do hope these 3 employees receive full recognition and appreciation.

I will never buy a General Electric product ever again in my lifetime. Everything was great until less than a month after the warranty running out. Dryer has had a control panel replaced at less than a year old. Washing machine uses whatever temperature of water it chooses (I. E I set it for a warm wash, it fills the tub with freezing cold, just now I put an old blanket in that I always wash in cool water, check the load and it's full of PIPING HOT water.) yes, I have made sure the hoses are connected to the appropriate location and the filter screens are not dirty I also have softened water. The machine cannot balance a load properly half the time. Even if I put a small load in it gets jeans all jumbled up in an uneven disaster and causes the machine to go unbalanced. It tries to rebalance itself by constantly filling and draining itself which is a huge waste of water. I will say that yes, it does get my clothes clean at least. 94 days after purchase GE washing machine Model: GTW465ASN9WWstarted randomly dispensing water when not turned on. Woke us up in the middle of the night thinking a pipe burst. Has done same activity 4 times now. Machine is now unplugged and water supply turned off, so useless. Called GE, warned 30 minute wait time, sat on phone for over an hour, no one picked up. Went on line to request service through GE website, plugged in data and got back a response stating,"experiencing temporary issue, we cannot process your request at this time." Over and over and over, and given another number to call, takes you back to exact same phone que warning 30 minute wait time. Absolutely ridiculous!
I am so disappointed with my choice to get cafe line for my kitchen appliances. Everything is only 2 years old - one problem after another…

Bought stove, range fan, fridge, microwave 4 years ago. Microwave started tripping the breaker 2 years ago and finally died this month. Stove stopped working 1 week after install and has now had 3 motherboards replaced and now has the control panel flashing off and on. The range hood only exhausts on one side. The fridge freezer can only keep up if you set it to the coldest setting and then stuff freezes in the fridge section.
Ask a reputable repair company and they'll tell you..."IT'S JUNK!"
I bought a new home coming with GE appliances. On the first day of moving in, I found that the microwave does not work, so I made an repair request online. An officer also called me to confirm my needs one day before the in-person appointment. However, during our appointment time, another officer texted me and asked me to provide my address again, and then told me that there were no technician available at the time of our appointment. This is insane. They stated that the warranty group does not have access to the schedule and availibility of the technician group, but that is GE's problem itself. Their inner communication is so bad.
What I am so mad at is that they should have informed me that no one could come a few days earlier, instead of during my appointment time! Very disappointed. I would give them zero if possible.
Moved into a new build with all GE. Figured what could go wrong? Come to find out GE appliances is no longer owned by GE and this the absolute horrendous drop in quality finally made sense. All my Appliances have rust on them, dishwasher components are falling apart and one of the wheels came off and melted in the dishwasher. Microwave is trash. Ido where to even start how I'm going to resolve this before the warranty runs out in 4 months because GE appliance does not respond to anything. They need to fail and quickly,
GE customer service is worse than 1-star. Apparently, they no longer include owner's manuals with their appliances, although their quick guide says to call *******000 to order a paper copy. I need an owner's manual for a recently purchased microwave. I called the number, waited on hold for an hour, and was told by their very unhelpful representative that they no longer print them at all. Then she very rudely hung up on me. No more GE EVER!
Purchased a new washer and dryer about $2200 called numerous times to try and figure out why my cloths were not clean. Without going into details of the months of bull crap with the crap customer service agents I am now told sorry we don't return for buyers remorse. I never asked for a refund, actually asked to spend more to upgrade.
These are less than 6 months old, great for getting cloths wet making a $#*! load of noise and not cleaning anything.
It's bead enough to have issues with your refrigerator going on for months & bring told by the authorized repair company they're "waiting on parts" but then it's never fixed & new problems pop up. But when it totally breaks down, you have no fridge for a week & GE won't honor their ext. Warranty & insist on keep trying to fix a dead horse. That's enough! BAD customer service!
I spent over 2600.00 dollars for a ge profile counter depth, French door refrigerator has to replace middle top led light bulb every 8 to 12 months at 13 or more bucks I replace it my self due to service charge is almost 200 bucks

Answer: Yes. I have repeatedly experienced this problem for the past 5 years on my 5 year old GE Refrigerator. Using your fist or a mallet, strongly tap on the fan's surround to break ice free. It will quiet down. However, a quality appliance would not require this type of user intervention. If it makes you feel better, I built a new house with all new GE appliances ( because we liked the slate color) and every single one has issues and has been a profound disappointment. NEVER NEVER NEVER buy GE. We learned the hard way.
