Sold stolen XBOX

You suck and I will bad mouth you everywhere I can for your awful customer service! I bought my son a pre owned XBOX X from the GameStop in Wareham MA for Christmas. He turn it on yesterday for the console to be ban by XBOX because it was stolen! I called the corp off and all the are willing to do is have me trade it in and pay for a different one! They sold me a STOLEN XBOX and want me to pay for their mistake! Are you kidding me! I have reached out to the local news station to let them know how they are treating me! I also reached out to the attorney general of Massachusetts! Let's all ban together against this BS company! If we all refuse to purchase anything from them they will have to close down!

Never again!

I had an issue about returning a controller that a clerk in Johnson City, TN (Market Street) told me that I could get a refund on when I purchased it. Long story short, when I took it back I was told I could not return it, even though other customers had been given bad information by the same clerk. They would not honor what their employee had told me. When asked if I could speak to a higher manager, I was told that they couldn't give me the General Manager's name or number or email address, but they supposedly messaged them multiple times asking to call me. Three weeks and 3 more calls to the store, I have not been contacted. The customer service number never answers. What a crummy way to run a business. NEVER give them your business.

Order Delivery

Bought some Xbox Games on December close to Christmas and ordered as Same day delivery through online and they sent Walmart Spark Company to deliver the order. On the text recieved later told it's delivered and when i look outside on my house the item is not there and the link saying delivered has no proof or picture it's delivered. I called customer service and they told wait for next day and call them. I called them back on the next day they can't do anything and they don't have any proof or picture it's deliverd only thing they saying the deliver driver told it's delivered andthey gave delivery driver number and I called the delivery driver and that person was rude and screaming saying I am not sure where i deliver the order as she is delivering 100 of delivery everyday but she delivered a house not mine. I called the customer service and told them to provide a refund after 1 hr of phone with them they can't do anything because it delivered as per driver.

I ordered a Ps5 for a 9 year old for Christmas from the online store. They shipped a Xbox360 and will not return it, exchange it, or even look into the issue. The store sites say you have to work with the online store. The wait times are over 30 minutes on the phone and they say they hold your place and will call you back but they do not. When you email them they do not return your emails.

I got a Gamestop gift card for $70. Went to their website to purchase Dynasty Warriors Origins; the digital copy. Entered my gift card, no issues. Entered my debit card details, no issue. Clicked checkout, and got an error that said something went wrong, refresh the page and try again in a few minutes. It also said I wouldn't be charged until my order processed. Guess what? My funds on my gift card were gone and my debit card charged for the difference. Order history blank and no email for a digital download code. Tried calling the CS line, and no one answered. It told me to press 2 for a callback. Number calls back a few minutes later and it's an automated message that says, "Sorry we can't help at this time. Please call back to reschedule a call back." Spent 30 minutes stuck in this loop before I sent an email. Got one email back asking what my giftcard number was and no reply since. Two days later, I finally get a real person to call me back after spending an hour stuck in that same continuous loop of scheduling a callback just to get an automate message when receiving the callback. They fixed the issue, put the funds back on my giftcard, and told me to try again. Placed the order again, same thing happens, and now I'm stuck in this loop of bull**** again. No one answers, schedule call back, get an automated message when answering the callback. Their CS team is the worst. Their website is the worst. I haven't shopped at Gamestop in years up until this point, and I will never shop there again. Would upload proof of purchase, but it's hard to do when nothing is in your order history on their website due to the error at checkout. TWICE!

Ripped off

I ordered and Nintendo switch last night that was supposed to be delivered same day. I still don't have the item my money is gone I can't find the order and I went into the GameStop store and they can't find the order. I want my money back immediately

Gamestop is a rip-off!

I would give no stars if it was an option. I've been a customer at your store for over 20 years. My husband and I have spent a fortune of our hard earned money at your stores. For some reason we keep buying gaming head sets along with the warranties. Every time we buy the headsets and the warranty the employee working claims the warranty covers EVERYTHING, but THAT IS A LIE! Today we went, at least our third time over the last few years, to return a defective headset along with our warranty to receive a new set. And of course like every other time we are told our warranty does not cover it. What is the point of a warranty if it doesn't cover anything! Keep in mind your employee selling us the warranty claimed it covered everything. So, with all that being said, we are done with your company! I know you could probably care less about losing my families' business. But when a major corporation like yours doesn't help out the little people supporting your stores, you will lose more and more customers, could explain why you are having to shut down so many stores! NO Customer Satisfaction!

I spent almost $300 on sportscards, and they never arrived. After awaiting 3 weeks for their Loss Prevention to respond, they sent me a photo of the location of delivery, which was absolutely NOT my home. Their response; "call the police. We will not refund this order. " Then, they turned off my ability to access my account and review the purchase. Absolutely deplorable customer service! I will never do business with GameStop again! Buyer beware!

Recently purchased two game cards from GameStop and they literally are fake Cards and when I called corporate they gave me the number to some company called epic that don't have any way to resolve anything. No one offered to replace the useless card and their ridiculous return policy is just as useless as its only on the receipt and it's literally too freaking late to tell somebody about a no refund policy after they've spent their money. GameStop if they're still going out of business all I can say is hurry tf up. Literally stole over $30 out of mine and my son's mouths. That $30 could've been used on two meals.

I purchased a product from GameStop.com and it came in with an issue with the battery charging. I was not offered the opportunity to purchase a warranty and when I called customer service: they called me a liar twice.
If you have to purchase a product from GameStop: then do it in a physical store. If you purchase it from their website: there is a chance that they won't offer you a warranty, send you a product that will soon break, and then call you a liar over the customer service. I would not recommend GameStop.com, just purchase through Amazon or something.

They took my money on December 7 2023 today January 29 2024 my game still has not arrived. Opened 2 tickets refund was denied. Today USPS opened an investigation telling me they sent the package to a zip code that doesn't exist. Don't buy from this company, money hungry is all.

Exchange without receipt

Paulo (Pen Centre GameStop) and Alex (Eastgate GameStop) were collaboratively and enthusiastically able to locate my purchase by searching through their systems in order to better assist me with my exchange. I misplaced my receipt and the Item I purchased was faulty, lacking sustainability. I showed them a screenshot of my dated Interac transaction. With this information alone, they were able to do an exchange. I am overjoyed with the customer service. I became a member will continue to be a loyal and satisfied customer because of these two gentlemen.

Missing and damaged items - Told I cannot return
February 3, 2024

Received order today one item was missing parts and the price dropped by $22 since I ordered and received it. Called customer support and told that it would be 3-5 business days before I hear anything back on the missing parts and that I cannot get a refund on the price as the item is clearanced out. Problem is the direct link and the product page do not mention it being on clearance at all. It is only in the search results that it lists this and then you have to hunt through their return page to find out that they will not accept returns or price matches...Terrible and will never deal with them again!

A BARE MINIMUM COMPANY IN SERVICE

The customer service was garbage as my order sat in the warehouse for days not moving at all, and it was never moved until I had to cancel it through customer service who was tone deaf as to the situation with incompetence. It is oblivious from the other reviews that GameStop doesn't give a crap about their customers because they display a great deal of incompetence when handling online orders.

When I called customer service they didn't seem to care at all, and I wanted them to figure out what the hell was going on. Instead of doing that they said they will just send a request to cancel to the warehouse to cancel. Basically, what they tell their customers that they are going to do the bare minimum, if you can call it that, to get their customers to buzz off. In their eyes you are not a customer, but just another order number and they made that clear from the call. There was no care and no desire to see what is going on.

It is a shame that they keep throwing their hands up wanting to know why their company is going in the crapper and the answer is right in front of them. I would gladly warn anyone away from this organized joke of a corporation and advise them to shop local because at least locally they can't fumble your package around like its their stocks. Also, they do this with almost everyone's online orders apparently and ruining their birthdays, celebrations, and general days in the process. Great job in being everything a company should not be in customer service Gamestop!

Very Impressed with Changes
March 28, 2021

Paid for standard shipping yet my order arrived 2 days earlier then was promised. I never have to wait more than a day for my order to be processed and ready to ship. The site itself is fairly easy to navigate though I do wish it had a dark mode. I've also noticed the shift away from strictly physical console games into digital games and PC parts. Very excited to see where Gamestop goes next. Overall, extremely satisfied.

Okay, in store things are fine. You can see a product and you are responsible for getting it home so you know it will arrive in good quality.

Do. Not. Order. Collectibles. Online. I was just astounded that I would even be sent an exclusive collectible in this condition. The actual package it was shipped in by the USPS looked perfect, no issues. So that means someone saw how completely crushed this Pop was, went "eh", and threw it in a box anyway. Really, guys? Thank god they sent me a new one free of charge.

Bought a wired xbox controller from them on 12/22/2023 obvious Christmas gift. Item works for approximately 10 minutes at a time. Took it back to Game Stop. Very rude store personnel. Told that the wired controllers usually only work for a short time and that I should purchase a non-wired controller that is made by Microsoft. Would not refund me because I didn't have the box to it. Did I mention Christmas gift? No box. I was also told the these 4th party (PDP) items are "hit or miss" on working. When I mentioned, in front of customers, that you know king sell "hit or miss" disposable type items, that customers need to know this, he told me to leave or he was going to call the police. I called game stop customer service and they would not help. Bottom line. Don't open the packaging and don't use the product. And they obviously know that they sell defective products. Maybe a posted sign stating all Products are considered "Hit or Miss" and do not try to return a defective product, we won't honor our 4th party sales!

Gaming head set-Bought this head set for my son and when i saw the price we were so excited for such a killer deal. When my son opened it he was upset. If u look at my pictures the front of the box it shows the real head phone on one side and a pic of a head phone on the other making u believe ur getting a head set with two head phones. Instead it comes one sided. The back shows the real head set so make sure to look at detail.
