My credit card has been charged for this service for months. This month I finally start getting cashback then without warning or even an email my account is removed. I had to reach out to freeshipping.com to find out why my account was deleted. I was told I had multiple accounts. I don't. I only have the 1 account they've been charging me for months for. Freeshipping.com deleted my account because they owe me cashback and don't want to pay.
I asked some questions to get clarification: How many accounts do I have? When were they open and closed? What are the email addresses associated with them? How were the accounts closed? What are the billing addresses associated with the accounts? Crickets
They haven't emailed me back. They haven't refunded me. They haven't paid the money they owe. They haven't reopened my account.
After months of paying for freeshipping.com's service they haven't paid me a single cent. They will close your account before paying you.
I will be going to the Department of Consumer Protection to take action against freeshipping.com.
I had purchased a Mother's Day gift at the very beginning of May and the gift had a $15 shipping charge that they said could be returned via freeshipping.com but to get the rebate you would have to get a membership to freeshipping. I agreed to it until I got an email back from them after I sent in the order confirmation and my freeshipping claim number and it had said that it would take 3 to 6 weeks to get my refund? What's the point of getting the rebate if you're gonna charge me $12 the next month? Anyway, I called the customer service line and asked the status of my rebate because I hadn't seen it come into my account yet and the lady was super nice while she was telling me that it just got approved today... 28 days after I sent it in. So I asked if I could cancel the membership so I wouldn't just get $3 back on that shipping charge. She immediately switched her attitude to rude and talked like she was annoyed with me. Didn't appreciate that but it doesn't make sense to pay that monthly $12 charge to just get $3 back. And when I tried to cancel my membership online, it said that it was unavailable twice.
My cashback was refused for no apparant reason and my account was closed. I'll be reporting them to Better Business Bureau and taking legal as I am owed $1000 in cashback.

I tried the free trial, aware that if I didn't cancell I would be charged $12.97 a month, and I was delighted! Still a member. Still using the site. Still getting checks!
They are just plain thiefs! I never sign for anything here and they are Stealing from my bank account... Aim pretty sure they got my info. From something I bought from EBAY!
I spent over $20,000 & they kept all my rebates to themselves! They are a scam company & I recommend you using UPROMISE.COM. They actually pay out! WORST experience in my life!
Freeshipping.com is for personal use only and that is clearly stated in the Terms of Use and Service. Sorry for any misunderstanding.
Freeshipping.com is amazing... if everyone simply understood the service maybe you all wouldnt get so upset... 20% off this weekend, time to go shopping

Gotta wonder about people who enter credit card info into a form without reading any of the fine print, then don't read their statement for months. Sounds like they are not taking their finances too seriously. Between 10% cashback, intelligent use of shipping rebates for Ebay/Petco cat litter/Amazon marketplace purchases and pretty straight forward Price Protection this program is an excellent compliment to using an American Express card(which don't match prices but have excellent purchase protection).
No cashback on returns(duh) and some retailers won't give cashback if you use coupons that aren't listed at Freeshipping.com, though most don't mind.
Even when they don't offer cashback at a store they will usually always give you a shipping rebate, max $10(12 per 12 month period per retailer), even at marketplace sellers, such as those found at Amazon/Newegg/Sears/Rakuten/Walmart etc.
The only real catch is there are 12 month limits on total rebates for Shipping, Portal Cashback, and Price protection; if you hit them you won't know unless you are keeping track. I wouldn't suggest opening separate accounts with the same account address to bypass these limits, as you will forfeit all rebates owed when they close out your multiple accounts. You are probably ok having a separate account for a 2nd home, but it needs the same account address as the billing information on a qualifying transaction.

This is a scam site that was never given permission to charge me. I have filed a complaint with PayPal and hope they remove them from their business.
These jerks worked with Parts Geek to rip us off for over $100 in monthly fees plus sign-up fee. Simple "free shipping" ad by Parts Geek was a total scam! They refunded about half of our monthly fees and wouldn't refund the rest. Someone's getting rich by scamming people. Next stop, BBB and Yelp. Will report this company to everyone we can, and also will report Parts Geek. Look at these reviews, shouldn't this guy be in jail by now? I don't believe all of their "please reach out" responses, because we did and they basically told us they would not refund the rest of our money. What a piece of dirt.
UPDATE: We ended up filing a complaint with the BBB, at which point FreeShipping.com refunded the rest of our monthly fees. Though we are glad to get the $ refunded in full, the hoops we had to jump through and time spent was worth about the same amount of money if we were being paid hourly for our time. This is a fraudulent business practice, I wouldn't be surprised to see "FreeShipping.com" featured on the show "American Greed". They should be shut down.
Hello, please reach out directly at Help@FreeShipping.com, we will be happy to look into your account.
Freeshipping.com is the grestest thing since sliced bread. But you have to know how it works to loves the app & understand its not free. You get rebates for shipping on your purchases, up to $10.00 per purchace. But the real reason I love this app & so does everyone else, you get back 10% of every single purchase you make thru freeshipping.com& during special occasions & certain times of year you get back 20% vs the usual 10%. Now ot does cost $12.97 a month but for a spontaneous sho
Pper like myself its worth it. You got nothing to loose, try it, you will Love it! They send your checks monthly! Oh yeah, Ive been a member of freeshipping for years! If I'm going to shop I may as well get some of my money back. Check out the thousands of vendors freeshipping is signed up with, probably a store you're already doing business with, why not get a some of that money back for a change. Oh btw the 10-20% you get is off your entire purchase. Great time of year to have this app with Christmas around the corner. Merry Chrismas, Happy Holidays!
Hi Pamela,

This is terrible! I NEVER EVER EVER signed up for this and was billed to my credit card for 3 months before I saw it! Think of sick ppl laying in hospital beds or disabled ppl who never use it & are being billed! SCAM AND FRAUD! SO SO WRONG. HOW THE HECK DID THEY GET MY CRED CARD INFO? They KNOW they are scamming because they refunded me right quick! BBB needs to investigate and shut them down! Attorney General? Idk. But this is massive fraud! I'm too sick so if you are a somebody reading this review, please reach out to me and I will testify as to what happened to me in November of 2020. *******@yahoo.com
Hello, we apologize for any confusion regarding the membership fee. Please reach out directly at Help@FreeShipping.com and we will be happy to help.
Very shady business and unbelievable rude customer service... I submit a rebate claim on Jan 3rd. And i was told it would be approved in 3-5 business days. But in anticipating that timeline, I called/chatted with them 3-4 times to inquery the status... no one could really help and give me an answer. I turned in my rebate proof 2 times as suggested by them, and someone told me to send in again today and asked me if I submit my rebate correctly... it's really frustrating. Apparently they thought it should have been approved and the reason is probably my submission. When I said I am firm on my correct submission, they then turned me away to call back in 10 days. The rep did not help and all they did was finding lame excuses and turning people away. Even more outrageous, when I asked her to escalate my case, the woman said ok let me write it down... then she put me on hold for 10 minutes, and never got back to me. I did not catch her name, but she was the worst without any humanity! I demand an investigation and the person be punished for such behavior. DON'T FALL INTO THIS TRAP! CANCEL YOUR MEMBERSHIP!

I don't think the problems you are all having has to do directly with FreeShipping, as much as it is the company that is referring you to them... I think the companies on contract with FS do a miserable job of selling FS, simply because they lead you to believe you will not be paying a dime for this service... If you found FreeShip on your own, I do not think most of you would be having these problems. I joined, and then cancelled simply because I do not need to think about getting my full value for my membership by spending more than I usually do... I need to think about how NOT to spend anymore! Lol I have to start spending less this coming year, otherwise I would not have cancelled my membership. But, if you do alot of online purchasing, I do think this would be worth your while. I wish I had had this this whole past year! When I was overspending, I certainly wish I was signed up with this service! I also wish that eBay and Zulily were on their list, then I would DEFINITELY have kept my membership! Still, I think with a potential $2,500 in rebates (shipping incl), this is money well spent! Please give this a thorough look, as I was able to pay $12.97/mo, while getting free shipping and rebates... and, now, you can process everything online, as well as cancelling this membership! For me, this was a pleasant experience... as long as you know upfront what will be charged to you ~
I have no idea was people say this is a scam! It is not! I LOVE FREESHIPPING.COM! I use it mostly for eBay…but also for AMAZON, Bath & Body Works, Walmart, & Overstock.com, & TEMU. You can either receive shipping rebates from certain sites (like eBay)…or rebates AND percentage discounts =10% off, (like Bath & Body Works). I do all my shopping online…it is so easy…I click on FREESHIPPING.COM-which plops me into the online shop of choice (there are hundreds of options ~ prob more)!…then I purchase…the discount reimbursements land right in my account…and the rebates I submit (takes 2 mins)…I snap shot the receipt-plug in the costs, forward the info…and by the middle of the following month I am sent a check! In one year-you can only have $500!in pure rebates alone.,,(but the percentage discounts and return shipping costs continue). I have met my max before a year's end in the past- so suspend my membership until the 12 mo period end-then reinstate. Customer Service is great. It's $20 a month but I always receive back my fees. And YES-they cover reimbursements for returns! You just have to remember these simple guidelines! I have been a member for years and love it!
Today I bought earrings on eBay-$0.99 with &7.56 shipping…I will be reimbursed the shipping on October 15…That is an example of hundreds of transactions I have completed. Wonderful! I promise on my life, I am telling the 100% truth!
This website is such a scam. IT IS NOT FREE. I repeat. NOT FREE. Read the fine print. It's not even free for the 7 day trial they charge you $2. Then $13 a month afterward. FOR NOTHING

This site is way too expensive to use. Why pay to save money? YOURE NOT SAVING WITH THIS SITE IF YOURE SPENDING A FEE EVERY MONTH TO SAVE ON SHIPPING. Doesnt make sense. Its a way for them to get money. I cancelled my membership with them within the first month so I wasnt charged. I am now just waiting for my check to arrive in the mail (12.99) that was sent out on the 27th of May. It is 2 days later and coming from CT to NH. Lets see how long it willl take!
These bozos trick into giving out your payment info they got me because I was on a site I do business with and thought it was legit them I got these shady scam attempts on my debit card don't let these dirtbags scam you don't let the two dollars go cuz the thieves will be back for more DISPICABLE THEIVES!
As many told, the ad appear(get $10 shipping somethig like that) and I mistakenly clicked it and IT NEVER TALKS ON MEMBERSHIP CHARGES during registration, one big welcome mail appears and aparently no one reads all contents... down below u have a line "Start your NO COST 7-day review with our compliments. If you decide not to continue your FreeShipping.com membership, simply log on to cancel during your review. Otherwise, we'll automatically extend FreeShipping.com benefits for just $12.97 a month, billed to the credit card you authorize. Your credit card will not be charged during your review period"... OMG this is SCAM!... and you are trapped on everyday membership and that is never shows anywhere... this is againnst USA financial policies!... and you never notice on these charges... as this is cheating company... BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY!... I like AMAZON. Everyhtinng is AMAZING and TRANSPARENT! Please make aware of others.
Hi Babu, sorry for any confusion regarding the membership fee. This membership fee was presented to you 3 times during registration. Once where you enter your credit card information, it states directly above where you enter it, that there is a monthly membership fee. Second, you had to agree to the terms and conditions, which lists the membership fee. Lastly, when you sign up we send you a welcome email, which also includes the membership fee. However, if you have any questions please feel free to contact me. Thanks!
Common internet thieves! Charged me $2.00 on March 29 for a purchase I PAID shipping costs on!
I NEVER signed up for them!
$13.00 a month For Services NOT RENDERED!
Just Internet Thieves!
David, we're sorry for any confusion regarding the membership fee. Please reach out directly at Help@FreeShipping.com for assistance.
Answer: Their advertising is a little sneaky I give you that. But that's your fault, just like out on the city streets, a fool and their money is soon parted.
Answer: Hi Christina, unfortunately I can't locate your account using the information here. Can you please reach out to me directly at Help@FreeShipping.com?
Answer: What's so dishonest about it? I am a regular subscriber and can easily recover my subscription fee many times over.
Answer: I did, but only after threatening to report them to the Attorney General in my state. They rely on the fact that few people will make a fuss.
Answer: You have to buy items from a website…anything from eBay to BATH & BODY WORKS, OVERSTOCK…many others. Go to "freeshipping.com" then delete the site from which you plan to buy-it will direct you to that site. (I always take screenshots of final receipts to add to my freeshipping.com submission), Afterwards you need to enter the purchase date-total cost and shipping cost…then a code is given. I have timed myself-the submission takes 35 secs if you are fluid on the computer. Have been a member for over 5 years and saved hundred$$! Trustworthy site-w/discounts as well as freeshipping (up to $10/order). $500 max shipping refunds per year…no limit on 10-20% off discounts!
Answer: Hello, Any cash back you earn as a member is yours to keep even if you choose to cancel. Thanks!
Answer: Hello - No problem, I have sent confirmation of this to your email.
Answer: Hi Carla, Please reach out to me directly at Help@Freeshipping.com. I will be happy to issue a refund for the membership fee. Thanks! Samantha Customer Support Supervisor

Hi Megan,
I’m sorry to hear that you’re displeased with our service. If you’d still like assistance with this issue, I’d love to help however I can.
Unfortunately, to protect our site and our members from any fraudulent activity, it takes about 3-6 weeks for rebates to fully process. Although your trial period is limited to a number of days, it does however take some time for the approval of claims to take effect. For this reason, if you choose not to cancel your account during your trial period, you will likely be billed for a membership fee prior to receiving the rebate you claimed during your trial period.
Again, I apologize for your negative experience and I’d still like to assist you and answer any questions you may have. Please feel free to reach out to me at jbuttrick@freeshipping.com with any additional concerns. Thank you very much.
Sincerely,
The FreeShipping.com Team
