I went to France and Son a month ago to see their store and would like to know which collection they have. Because My family would like to buy a huge amount of furniture to fulfill our new house. When we arrived Jason greeted us and he was really helpful. He shows us the collection they have and recommends us the best furniture for us. Fortunately, they also offered us the best prices which made us feel so satisfied. Thank you France and Son! I would definitely back again in future

Basket Dining Table

Office Set

Bought another office set which includes a table, task chair, and wall art, Order went through quickly and easily. Then the customer service phoned to provide details of the delivery - which was quicker than I had expected. The delivery driver turned up on time and was happy to offload the nightstand for me. Then they emailed to make sure everything was ok. Excellent service and really pleasant people to deal with. Oh - and EXCELLENT value for money too!

The whole experience was great, I was a bit apprehensive about ordering online without seeing the the product first, however, I was very pleased with the nightstand when they arrived. They were exactly as pictured and described on the website. The service I received was excellent from start to finish. I am very pleased with the quality of the nightstand as well as the excellent customer service. Thank you France and Son!

Dishonest and unethical retailer
September 20, 2022

In November of 2021 we purchased a home and our realtor gifted us 4 outdoor chairs from France &Sons. The home was staged with these chairs and I fell in love with them. The chairs were delivered inMay 2022 and set up in our backyard in June. Upon sitting in one of the chairs that I noticed that one of the chairs was splinting/breaking at one nail. I contacted France and Sons and submitted a claim letting them know that the chair was defective. Upon review, they initially offered me a 10% partial refund. I contacted the manufacturer, Four Hands on Instagram for assistance. I believe someone fromFour Hands reached out to F&S and only then I was offered a replacement. I was told that the chair was backordered and would not ship for 6-8 weeks. 8weeks later, I contacted F&S for a status update. They stated that they would not replace the chair but offer a store credit. Here's my issue and frustration. This is fraudulent behavior. F&S is forcing its customers to repurchase furniture at current retail cost that is much higher than the time of original purchase instead of filing a claim with the manufacturer for a replacement. If we received a defective chair and want to be made whole, isn't it the responsibility of the retailer to work with the manufacturer instead of processing a store credit? I spent a considerable amount of time on a call with F&S on 9/19/22. First I was told that the chair was not replaced because Four Hands didn't send a replacement due to it being backordered until Jan2023. However the website shows it's available so I asked again, what it the lead time if I repurchase at current retail cost. They then stated that the chair has been discontinued by Four Hands so I can't reorder the chair. What is the truth? My realtor forwarded me an email from F&S with the store credit of $638 to repurchase the Julian Chair for $806 (a discounted rate). I also confirmed with another retailer that the chair is NOT discontinued and will be available to ship by the manufacturer in 1-3 weeks. So is how is this chair discontinued? France & Sons is a horrible retailer. Dishonest and unethical. So many online reviews state the same.

I purchased an accent table thru France and Son's online company GoodForm. The table was on sale for about $1350, reduced from $1585, I believe. It was exceptionally well packed, therefore I was surprised to see a very apparent streak in the finish across the top of the otherwise perfect table. There was so much padding and packing that this had to have been there prior to packing and could not have happened in shipment. Sending a marred or damaged item is what I find the most upsetting. Given the difficulty of repackaging the piece, the considerable expense of returning it and the lengthy wait time, I elected to keep the table and stack books on it to cover the defect, rather than using it to display a collectible as I originally intended. I notified France and Son and they replied that they forwarded my communication to the manufacturer. That was the end of it. I wasn't expecting a refund or a replacement or a discount, but I was expecting followup of some kind. I won't purchase from either France and Son or Noir Furniture again. In fact, I would pay more for an identical item elsewhere.

France and Sons FORGOT TO SHIP my chairs. The customer service rep was inexperienced to deal with my complaint. I wanted to cancel my order since the chairs were not shipped. I waited 5 months. All of a sudden a person name Cassidy M contacted me and said they were being shipped. I told her I wanted to cancel the order. I cannot speak to a person in charge. Only email. We are disputing with the credit card company.

Product damaged on receipt, horrible return service

We ordered a sink from France and Sons and while the packaging was perfect the sink was chipped in two places and we could not hide it (right on the top by the basin). They offered us a 10% "settlement" on the damage. Absolutely absurd. It took 2 months to arrive (which we knew) and don't have two months to wait for another one.

I filed a claim for a bed delivered on 6/15/22. It was missing the 4 posts and canopy frame that goes across the top. It also came with 2 headboards instead of 1. We cannot use the bed and I am upset beyond words after waiting this long.
I ordered this item on 9/3/21 and was told it would ship in 10/21. This was supposed to be a Christmas gift for my 11 year old daughter. Her gift was to redecorate her room. At this point it will be a gift for Christmas of 12/22 if I am even that lucky. Each time I called to check the status, I was told the shipping had been delayed. This went on until February 2022.
In 2/22, the saga of scheduling and then cancelling deliveries began. I lost count as to how many times this happened from 2/22- 5/22. I believe it was 5 times. I had taken off of work to accept delivery many times, only for nobody to show up or to be told at the last minute the bed was not coming. The most shocking is when the delivery driver pulled into our driveway, only to abruptly pull out with no explanation as I stood stunned in the doorway. The driver didn't answer my text until over an hour later stating "The item wasn't on the truck."

It is at this point going in 11 months. All my calls to customer service are met with "I'm sorry" but there is no action or resolution. I do not want to wait any additional time for a resolution to this. I have never dealt with such poor customer service. I would like to know when and how I am going to receive the missing parts to this bed. I still can't get a straight answer from this company and it has been 12 weeks since the bed with missing parts has been delivered.
I have had to file a claim with the BBB to get help.
The companies latest response on 8/1, was that they have the missing pieces to the bed and it will be "On the next truck to my area." Its now been an additional 2 weeks and I have heard nothing. I would think considering the situation, the company could have used UPS or FedEx to ship missing pieces. As of 9/2/22, it will have been 1 year since I have ordered and paid for this bed. I am in disbelief at the way this company does business. Do not order from this company. It has been an absolute nightmare.

Do NOT buy anything from these people! They sent me a defective table! Wish I read their reviews before ordering! No matter how much you like an item from their site I promise you that you'll regret it badly after receiving a defective item. They give you no explanation and no resolution for the issue!

Even if the product isn't in-stock and don't know when the items will be in stock. Even if it's months past their ETA, they will not fully refund you. They may promise you a full refund but the paperwork you sign isn't correct and they will hold you to that. Customer service is slow to respond and they will ignore your emails.

I am a professional interior designer for over 30 years and this company is the worst I have ever worked with! They sent part of the sectional which was wrong and nothing like the image on their site. Then charged me a 50% restocking fee which is ridiculous! It's been months and still no refund. WARNING do not use them!

It took about eight months for these chairs to arrive. Within a few months, this is the result. I said I'd be happy with a credit, but they have no policy to take back. These chairs were about $400 each (I bought 4). They suggested that it is because I live in Arizona. I have lived here for decades, we do not have issues with indoor furniture. I have always loved this company but will no longer shop there.

Placed an order last October; I understand there are supply chain issues, but they told me that the item will be available in January. When i inquired in January, they claimed February, and then again in March, and finally in April. Now that it's May, I've waited 7 months and I want my money back but they are refusing to refund in full.

The desk and cabinet were over packaged. It took over two hours just to take them out of the packaging materials. Also, the legs of the desk are crooked. They are bent at an angle on the left side whereas they should be straight and perpendicular to the floor.
