Besides the hidden charge for the seat selection - which has *not* been mentioned during the booking process - they charged me $75 extra for a name change. I was trying to cancel the booking within the first couple of hours of purchasing the ticket to fix the misspelling by rebooking the flight. The best price on non-stop round trip to Paris. $188 less than others sites. The webpage was clear and simple. Except it said that I might have to wait 3 minutes for the booking process. I waited10 minutes then called FlyFar and the representative was polite and efficient and confirmed that it had booked even though the screen said "wait". He asked me to check my email to see the confirmation which had been there 10 minutes ago. A glitch that needs to be fixed. The representative answered immediately, no waiting, and solved everything. The receipt showed payment not by my Visa card but a MasterCard. I called back and the rep said it was their method of security. Also to reserve seat choice is $35. Food is $45. With seat choice I still saved $188. I recommend FlyFar!
Id give this company negative stars if I could. I booked a round trip ticket with Fly Far. They emailed me a schedule change but didnt mention anything about my flights on the return journey not working. I didnt find that out until my return journey home when I attempted to check in. Because I booked through them, the airline refused to assist me and told me that Fly Far would have to fix the problem. Fly Far refused to help and blamed the airline for making a schedule change. They said that they tried to contact me before the flight to make alternative arrangements but I have no record of any missed calls or voicemails from them nor did I ever receive an email asking me to contact them. Because of their refusal to take any ownership of the flights that they booked for me, I ended up stranded in San Francisco and out-of-pocket over $900 to buy a completely new one-way ticket at the last minute in order to get home. Worst customer service ever! Use this company at your own risk!
I booked a flight from Dallas to Toronto through Air Canada and Toronto to India through Lufthansa. While booking, it was not mentioned anywhere that I should be a US citizen or Green Card holder to enter canada. When I reached airport to catch my flight, they didn't allow me and my ticket was cancelled. Fly Far didn't even accept their mistake and starting speaking rubbish when I talked to them about the situation. The Fly Far guy I talked to was getting mad at me because I was asking questions. I asked him if he could send me the details where it was mentioned that I should be a citizen or green card holder and he was like you have to read it on your own. We don't send anything. I booked the ticket through your website and I just needed little confirmation, that is why I asked but no, he got supermad and was like do you need any other help? What a poor customer service. I would never book any flight through your Fly Far ever again.
I don't know how the cost of my trip cancellation got to be $64.88. This is NOT the price that was next to the button when I selected it. I never would have done it for this cost. And it's ridiculous that I cannot get a refund for it.
Flyfar will tel you you have to wait to process your refund after a flight cancellation. These are lies. Dispute the charge with your credit card company ASAP. I have been waiting since July for a refund and I know the airline refunded Flyfar- over 90 business days later I still am out over $3k! Don't make the mistake that I did and wait- get your credit card company to fight them immediately!

I did not like that the booking said "major airline" instead of a specific carrier, but within minutes of booking, I received a confirmation from Southwest, which was the airline advertised on skyscanner. I have no experience or comment on trying to change a flight or obtain a seat, but for my southwest flight, everything went great.

I booked a ticket with Flyfar because they had the best price for my flight. Using my name, as confirmed by the email confirmation from flyfar, they sent the wrong name to the airline and charged me for the flight. Had to spend a while on the phone straightening their mistake.
Same day ticket was purchased and confirmation email was received, complete with booking reference number for airline.
E-ticket was not included and when I called to inquire, I was told that it still hadnt been issued and that I should "wait an hour"- three hours before an international flight.
Then a rep came on the line and randomly told me that the ticket had been issued. According to the actual airline, it had not.
Finally they issued a "refund" that still hasn't shown up and "might take up to ten days"
Another rep lied to me and went back and forth between telling me that my ticket had been issued and then again that it hadnt.
This business is shady.
Cheapest flight by far, booked through them. Didn't receive a ticket or boarding pass (my flight was for that night). After hours of trying to contact them they finally answered and sent me my pass. Everything was fine, I was so scared it wouldn't work and I had gotten scammed but I didn't! But then, a few days later I had seen I was charged an extra 200 from Alaska this time (not their site). Was extremely mad and called and they said they would look into it, fly far did end up taking care of it after a few days. So it was pretty stressful, but successful in the end. Saved myself $200! But their customer service sucks...

I had to call and e-mail the airlines myself and figure out how to cancel and get some refund. Really unfortunate, I expected a better customer service.
I paid $72 to be able to change my flight. When I called to make a change, the cost of making the change was more than buying a new ticket. Rip off!' I was looking at the ticket price on line and asked why so was not getting the online price. They told me When I change a flight I no longer get the best price on line, I get a higher change price. Its my first time booking with Flyfat and I was surprise on how quick the response was in regards to the confirmation email and transaction. I also checked the registration confirmation number under the own airline and it all went super smooth.

They never said that they would charge each ticket individually or that the charges could cause international fees. Very disappointing
