I got an email to say they were cancelling my flight which I had paid for completely. No reason why they were cancelling only that it was in process. It's virtually impossible to communicate with anyone at Flighthub. Apparently you need to pay Flighthub more money for quicker communication at booking time.
First time buying on line. There could be more information on how baggage is handled and charges that may occur when i bring more then one.
Flight hub has added "processing fees" that to change a flight during regular and covid times. While all airlines have waived their fees, flight hub has not. They have made doing simple things like changing flights or cancelling extremely difficult. I wait hours on hold and receive no call backs. All airlines would accommodate during this time quickly and for free however flight hub refuses to be helpful.
When the airline had to cancel my flight due to their own scheduling issue, flight hub tried to charge me a processing fee of $400 CAD. I had to fight with them in order to avoid paying that fee. Again, the airline cancelled my flight (completely out of my control) and I needed to get on any other flight and flight hub wanted to charge me a processing fee. This is just the tip of the iceberg. Do not do not do not purchase from travel agencies. Everrrrr!

Bad customer service. Applied for the refund and it was never received. We were told our refund was rejected without any other explanation and were charged $100 processing fee. If you call their number you can not get to the life agent. Never, ever use this travel booking website again.
Hello, We had to cancel a booking with Flight Hub and the way it went is that we were billed, without our prior approval, two charges ($400+$150 since we had two tickets) to the credit card we used for booking which is totally illegal (to keep our credit card and to use it without our specific approval) and then now when we want to use the $2,200 credit for a new flight, we have to use the link from their email which leads to only options that are $10,000+ per person for an otherwise 400 euros to Mexico if we use their regular website... So, not on we we charged $550 on our credit card, we may never be able to use the travel credits. All this while the Airline used promotes full reuse of travel credits at this point with Covid. I scheduled a call from the website for a call back which when I mentioned this was about travel credit, I was put on hold for an hour which I had to drop, of course. I tried your support email found on Trip advisor, it's no longer monitored is the answer; tried messenger with an away answer which I am interpreting, when reading comments on trip advisor, that we won't get any answer. I suppose that our only other option will be to go public (which I am doing now) with all this to get those unapproved credit card charges paid back to our credit card as well as to get a fair treatment of our rebooking? It's feels very wrong.
I always book with flight hub. It's convenient easy and I find good deals.
Easy enough to book but I had have bad experiences with flighthub in the past the only reason I booked with them its because I had some travel credit. Basically they just make you pay anyways so I do not recommend it...

I booked roundtrip flights from Toronto to Vancouver for October 23rd - October 30th. I am travelling with another person and due to differing circumstances, we decided to extend our trip to October 31st. My returning flight was with WestJet (an airline I know is offering to waive the fee for 1 change per ticket).
I attempted to use the self-serve option on the website to change my flight (the exact same flight times and route, just a day later), which I was under the impression should have been at no cost. I submitted the change and agreed to the additional $3.00 charge for the differences in flight cost.
I submitted it and was told it would be 'under review' - making it seem like they needed to be in contact with WestJet. I received an email about 20 minutes later stating my 'quote' was ready to go, and a link to click on to confirm the changes. Click on the link and it says it's expired. Attempt this same self-serve change another 3 times. Same thing.
I finally call and request a call back. Agent said she would try to manually change it and I should receive an email within 48 hours to confirm the change. No email was received. I called again and was told the same thing (both time I was told the charge was $3.00 because of the slight differences in price). Still no email.
I called again today, beyond frustrated - and after finally getting a hold of an agent, was told she could manually change it but it would be $50.00. I'm sorry - why is this the first time I'm being told this after speaking to 2 separate agents previously?
Asked to speak with someone higher up to waive the charge, was told there was no one. Was told to go through WestJet directly to try and change it for no fee.
BEYOND frustrated. If I could cancel and not have to deal with FlightHub anymore, I would. Will absolutely never be using this site again - hoping it gets shut down. Completely useless.

I always use flight hub. It's great! They have a good interface that shows all flights, times and prices.
Booked a flight from Edmonton to Vancouver and got a good rate. I like that they show you the taxes and fees plus the total amount so you're not guessing. Checkout was fast and easy too.
Accidentally left my browser tab open for a day or so in between looking and purchasing through google/westjet. Both flights went up by $130! Hopped over here on a different browser, and got the price I had before. Thanks!
Update: I needed to cancel due to COVID-19. No chance to talk to a human. No information for contact on site. Calling in brought nothing but more filtered menus and a long wait time with no human interaction likely. Plus, their COVID-19 cancellation policy is to charge customers $75 per flight per person just to cancel, which is more than anyone else. It's not like a human being is actually working here to be paid for processing my request... I will not be booking again with this service, and I will tell everyone I know to stay away.
Phoned to ensure that the flight I was booking was actually going to leave. Person was no help. Continued booking and price went up $90.00 while booking.

I purchased the ticket for my son from overseas. I found the right flight in no time. Relatively easy to navigate. Payment transaction, no problem. I just found it a bit strange why I couldn't send the ticket directly to his email.

Answer: Terrible experience. I bought "extended cancellation insurance" which apparently expires the same day you buy it. I learned this when I tried to cancel my flight the next day. Why would anyone buy cancellation insurance that only lasts a few hours? They did refund my cancellation insurance but I was stuck with the flight. I would not have booked when I did if I understood the cancellation policy.
Answer: No comparison to this disaster. Very bad site. Will avoid.
