I originally stated I thought for the few extra $'s I paid here it was worth it, because I could get a good trip insurance policy covering the total coat of the flight etc. Thought it was ok, so instead of booking with Iberia, I booked with them. BIG MISTAKE! When I go to make seat selections, it won't let me do transcontinental flights at that time, my mistake not paying a lot of attention, it says you can book these seats later. This has been common for us when we had to travel for business. As per usual in these situations I called Iberia turns out I have to pay for my seat for both legs of transcontinental flights at 37.00 ea. I am not sure If I had waited until day of travel to get seat assignment if there would have been a charge but I think so. We paid for premium economy and wanted to be sure we would be seated together and not sitting in the middle of the 4 seat row. None of these issues would have been a concern if I had just booked with the airline.

I have been using flighthub for all of my trips this year. I like the size thanks to how quick and efficient it is in finding the best deal. The only thing I wish could be done more is that before booking, the site can provide more details about luggage/airlines conditions. It was my first time travelling and I of course making a mistake in booking cause I didn't know much about budget airlines to Europe (I've only been flying from Asia to Canada before with parents help as I was underage at the time). It worked out in the end but since then I'm always super cautious about this department and gotta look into the airline website itself before booking anything and that can take some time especially if I'm going with a group. So I would say little more details during checking out would be super helpful.
BE AWARE! My Father has an accident after booking a trip with Flighthub. I called customer service and asked to cancel the flight due to medical reasons. They asked for a letter from the doctor and the hell began. For approximately one month they were telling me I never sent the letter. Then they were asking to change the "wording" on the letter. They asked for hospitalization letter (was provided) a doctor's medical opinion that my dad can not fly (was provided). And that wasn't good enough. They started telling me again they never got it. For three months I have been trying to cancel the booking until they told me that I no longer can cancel the flight bc my time frame has ended. Every time I called Flighthub I had to verify all my dad's info first, then they tell you the same things over and over again, like "please hold". After each pause they will repeat themselves like robots and eventually, when you ask to speak with the supervisor, will place you on the longest hold and then hang up the phone. And if you dare call again, be prepare to start the entire process again. My Dad's flight was back in June 2018. Its August and nothing has been resolved. There is no refund, no credit, not help with customer service. I just called to check on the status and after going back and forth for 33 minutes with a representative, who was trained to repeat things like "let me check on my end, hold", I was disconnected. Save your money and nerves, book directly with airlines.
This website is a scam! You book one flight & it'll change it to another after it takes your credit card information! Then they'll try to charge you another $75 to change it. The toll free line employees are extremely rude & unhelpful! Save yourself some time & do NOT book through them!

NOT EVEN A STAR! Horrible customer service! I booked by phone with an incompetent person. Made sooo many mistakes for my personnal informations. And at the top, they booked the wrong destination. WOW! Not even the same continent! Cost me many hundreds to change it to the right destination... after many hours arguing with them by phone!

Ticket needed a name change having to bring dead loved one home and they refuse to do what they are instructed to do by the airlines the charge me money man you it is no charge to do it that's what American Airlines said I spoke to several agents through flighthubcom

I booked a flight for my brother and myself. "flighthub" sent me a confirmation email that they had confirmed my flight, and a second email that stated i needed to perform immediate action but when i clicked on the link provided in that email, it lead me to the same "confirmed" page.
The day of the flight when i went to check in for my flight. I was unable to do so, So i spoke with the airline, who told me that i was not in their system. They informed me it was best to speak with flighthub about the matter, so when i called them to ask about my reservation, they said that "on their screen it showed that i was unconfirmed".
They said that they sent a second email that said i had to perform immediate action... but in that email it says NOTHING about failure to pay and in fact in colored, bolded lettering at the top of the page it links to, it states"confirmed".
So to keep my engagements unaltered, i was forced to pay $450 cad for two other tickets. Although BOTH the emails "flighthub"sent to me stated that my flight was confirmed, since THEIR system said i was unconfirmed, a system i had no access to or was aware of, I was forced to forfeit the original agreed rate of 99$/ticket and forced to buy 220$/ticket for both my brother and myself.
Because their personal system is completely contrary to what they sent me TWICE i was ultimately punished
Hung up on 3 times put on hold over 58 minutes. Purchased insurance and needed to change my reservations and they say my credit card declined the 24.00 for the insurance but for some amazing reason accepted my $322.00 for my airline ticket. The lady k e I needed the insurance because I was pretty sure I would have to change my flight times due to a court date. I have turned them into my Visa company for fraud as my Visa company states they never tried processing the 24.00 insurance charge. These people are crooks and the customer service is from India. Good luck!
I've never dealt with a more deceitful company. I had to pay to cancel and get 'travel credit' because my daughter was in Americorps and transfered before her trip. But she could only use this stupid credit to fly from a city she would never be in again. I decided to see if I could book a flight and would have been charged $200 over the credit amount. BTW, I had purchased travel insurance thru them and was told it was not a covered reason - what a ridiculous rip off.
Twice well booking one flight I called them out about the pricing for our flight. After being told I got the lowest and saw a new lower price on the site i called them. Was told by one SC rep that they can not do anything about the price I got the lowest that day. As for the second rep he has had me on hold for the last 53 minutes as i write this.
I needed to book a multi destination flight and a second round trip flight to meet up with mine. I am going to vancouver, from Vancouver to Los Angeles then back to Toronto via Vancouver. My daughter was joining me on the Vancouver to Los Angeles flight. Because it was complicated I called to make the reservation. The person on the phone said that my daughters ticket was going to be $313. I stated that I had just looked up the price on their website and it said it was $264. The agent gave me the "well you just book one seat, so the price might have gone up. " she recheck and said if you don't take it now you may pay even more. So I agreed.
When I got back to the computer, 30 minutes later the price was up to $265, but not $313. I called back and was told by another agent that the price she was getting was $291. She would cancel the ticket I purchased for $75 cancellation fee and rebook the ticket for $291. I spent the next 20 minutes explaining to her that would be utterly stupid and that I wanted to speak to a manager. The manager again said that he can not see the $265 price but after a long discussion finally agreed to cancel the first ticket (no fee) and rebook with the new price $291. I was not happy with the customer service nor the fact that I still overpaid. The price of the ticket today is still listed for $269 not $291.
Would never book with them again. So many emails about flight changes, could see flight changed online when i called they said nothing has changed for them and i'd have to wait. Then finally changed the itinerary about three days after it appeared online. Tried calling the call centre to confirm everything was sorted and it didnt work, was 'out of service' for a full 24 hours (at least). I was so spooked that they had gone out of business but an agent emailed me the following day saying they just had issues. Paid extra for legroom and exit seats but when i was checking in at rome they said they could see i was charged by flighthub but exit seats were not booked for me. Thankfully it was a nice man at the desk in Rome who sorted it because Flighthub had me in row 44!
Not a very good flight going nor coming back. Sat on the tarmac a total of four hours waiting for decisions to be made.
Prices rise every time you make a click. Please i advise to have a look on other websites prior booking any flights through it.
Westjet always has great service and kind flight attendants. I rarely have a complaint when flying with them.

Answer: Terrible experience. I bought "extended cancellation insurance" which apparently expires the same day you buy it. I learned this when I tried to cancel my flight the next day. Why would anyone buy cancellation insurance that only lasts a few hours? They did refund my cancellation insurance but I was stuck with the flight. I would not have booked when I did if I understood the cancellation policy.
