I have been talking my life altering medication for going on two years. My medication is shipped monthly and contains 2 injection pens to be used every two weeks. I ordered my medication in early December 2019 and received confirmation that my next delivery would be shipped for delivery on December 27th which was cutting it close being that my next dose was due on Monday December 30 Th. The problem is on December 26th one day before my medication was scheduled to arrive I received an email notification that my medication couldn't be shipped because it was being reviewed and needed a PA. Well folks this is totally unacceptable and ridiculous being that there is now no way to get this issue resolved in time for me to receive my medication before I need to take it. Missing my scheduled dose even by a few days can and will cause me unnecessary pain and suffering and poor quality of life. I am very unhappy with both Accredo an Express Scripts for allowing these types of unnecessary errors to happen to people like me who's quality of life depends on being able to take medication when it's due. Your apologies will not help the pain and suffering that I Now must deal with until this mess is corrected and I receive my medication.
Horrible. Customer service has no clue what the pharmacy is doing. You get different answers from everyone you talk to. Supervisors supervise nothing and have ZERO authorization to do anything. They shipped my medication to an address I used 2 years ago, mind you in the past 2 years they have been shipping to the correct address!?!? Then to get the script resent I had to have my doctor call in the script again. After a week and not hearing from express I call and they tell me they need more u formation from the doctor. They say they called and faxed the doctors office. I know the receptionist very well and she said they never called nor faxed. I have the doctors office contact them, they tell me it's all taken care of and it will be overnights to me 4 days later, no meds. I call express scripts. They tell me I can't have the meds this soon becuse they just sent them. I tell them THEY sent it to the wrong address and this was to fix their initial mistake. They now thought it was a refill... I can go on and on... WHAT A JOKE THIS COMPANY IS.
I should have received a refill for an expensive medication through TriCare 4 Life but when I called Express Scripts today to tell them that in spite of the tracking information on the refill telling me that the package had been delivered I have not received the refill. They informed me that according to their records it was shipped in one package with another prescription. I did receive the second prescription. I believe the lost prescription was not placed in the container with the second Rx but that someone at ExpressScripts failed for whatever reason to include the lost Rx. This drug costs me a $29 co-pay and the government $600. ExpressScripts now says that since it has been more than 45 days since they mailed the Rx there is nothing that can be done. In January I had a similar experience except that at that time I was told I hadn't waited long enough to get a replacement for a non-delivered Rx. Someone needs to investigate this company. I believe they are ripping off the US Government and its beneficiaries.
I have had this problem on and off and the excuses were all different. If I use generic synthroid my hair falls out and I start to gain weight feeling fatigued. The first time they sent it, they told me that express scripts makes synthroid too and since they aren't the original manufacturer they had to label the pill generic on my bottle. I bought that for a minute, made a dr appt. Upon telling my dr he was stunned. He went and sent another script. Same thing happened, so I called. This person said that last story was a lie?! She said it's $99 for the med. I told her to charge me and send the right stuff. It was good for 6 mos. Then I noticed my hair was coming out big time. I look at the bottle and generic. I call this person sends me to a pharmacist. She asks me to describe the pill. I tell her it's labeled like the real thing but it's not. I ask her why the bottle was labeled generic. She told me some story about no labels. I'm thinking I never heard of any pharmacy purposely sending medication that's not labeled correctly. After I protest, and tell her the severity of my thyroid, she puts a rush on new script. Didn't need to notify dr or call. 90 more even though I wasnt due for a refill for 60 days approx. So the pharmacist is now a dr too, capable of writing my scripts. I got a new script labeled correctly and immediately felt difference. It was as if I was taking nothing before. The whole thing is just plain wrong. Something is going on in that company. Oh and on the generic prescriptions I wasn't charged 99 dollars even though it was supposedly the real thing.
Nothing but the run a round, it's always somebody else's fault, Sure hope you don't have to use them, one star is too high of a rating.
My wife has wasted the last three and half months trying to a scrip filled through this joke of a company that lies to its truicare patients. I am going to file a formal complaint against these lying scumbags with TriCare and my congressman. You should do the same.
We finally went through walgreens after Dr sent the scrip directly to Walgreens Pharmacy. Exprress scripts didnt do their job for 3 1/2 months. I am going to scream to the mountain tops about how worthless theses overpaid shills truly are.
THE CEO IS INCOMPETENT PERIOD!
" IT" NEEDS NEEDS To be FIRED,ALONG WITH THE WHOLE LOT WHO MAKE POLICY TO JERK PATIENTS AROUND. This is what happens when corporations who have lucrative government contracts, they are as corrupts as the white house, end of story.
I have had very good results using Express Script as my prescription mail order. Communication is good orders are timely.
Information on orders is often in error or not posted, orders are filled on time, customer service is very poor, contact and complaint resolution is very poor. DO NOT USE is you have a choice.
I went with this company Express Scripts because my company recommends them, but I noticed in BBB and other reviews today, they are not recommended. I accidentally sent the wrong amount through my bank bill pay system and due to 29 cents they will not renew my prescriptions until I pay, putting my health is at risk. During the conversation today, I tried to tell them the 29 cents would be included in the new prescription and they still would not process the order; before this I tried calling their automated system and it would not transfer me unless I paid by credit card over the phone after requesting several times to talk to someone the system kept repeating- payment needed to send me to a person. ALL FOR 29 cents. That shows they don't care about people's health, it's all about the money. When I spoke today to a person they iterated the same thing so it's my last prescription with them in order to pay my debt of 29 cents! I was honest with them and yet they could not trust me enough and see my payments were always made in a timely manner. So if you take medications that are life or death related, I don't recommend cause if you made a typo on bill pay, they will freeze your account until you pay in my case 29 cents. Do your research through all sights not just one. To me customer service should of weighed the amount of money and why it happened, everyone makes mistakes but the way you treat someone makes a BIG difference as to whether they will use that business and today that has been lost in so many businesses. To me this company is for themselves not for their clients and clients is what keeps a company going!
Horrible do not use express scripts unless you want to die mom has yet to receive medication they lie to her about it being sent out
My 3 month old had reflux bad and was put on medication. The first two prescriptions we picked up at the pharmacy no issue then this last time we went to pick up we were told it wasn't covered and we need to do home delivery. I got the doctor to send in the prescription the same day 11/27/19 and here we are 12/5/19 still no medication delivered. I've contacted them 7 times since 11/27/19 before today the last 2 times I call I was told it would be expitited and 1 day delivery I called today and was told it's still in process and it would be shipped on the 16th. NOT ACCEPTABLE! After I told them they need to re check their notes they "seen I was told 1day delivery" and claim a message was put in to have it go out immediately. This is NOT fair to my baby who need relief why is it so hard to stick to your word and do your job?! (And no I can not get a smaller supply to hold him over till it comes his prescription is the smallest amount the medication comes on and they can not split up the bottle per Walgreens)
Extremely slow delivery. Customer service is a joke. Long phone menu and then rep asks to repeat. Useless! Hours on phone to get things settled.
I guess my 14 year old daughter's health is NOT important to them! I am SO fed up with this company!
I was in the hospital with blood clots on both lungs and the doctor wanted to put me on blood thinners of course. Apparently the 2 best are Xarelto and Eliquis. A prescription for Xarelto was called in for when I was to return home but when the doc told me the copays was over $400. I said nope. They immediately called and cancelled it. I came home on Warfarin which is quite inexpensive. When I saw my PC in his office he really wanted me on Eliquis and spent 40 minutes on the phone to Express script. He was told the company was $ 60.00. I heard it as he was on speaker. My daughter and another doc heard as well. I got home and soon after received a call from express confirming the order and was again told the copay was 60. I agreed, they took it from my checking account and my meds arrived by mail. A few days later I received Xarelto in the mail which I hadn't paid for and was cancelled anyway. Then I get the Eliquis that I had paid for but a month later I get 2 letters...one demanding over $450 for the cancelled Xarelto and one demanding over $489 for the Eliquis that I'd been told was $60. I've spent countless hours on the phone and been given absurd and incorrect info. Do not use cigna express script!
Yes the Pricing is Awesome but the processing and shipping takes way to long on every Prescription. Been on this for about 3 years.
The worst coustomer service ever. They are so scripted thay they don't take the time to listen to what the issue is. I have been calling since May to get my nebulizer and, I still have not gotten it. When I called again today and told the operator that I have not recived it and need to fill the perscription, I was told She cannot help me with out a RX number. I never receved it how can I have a RX numbet... My advice go elsewhere othe pharmacy offersthe same service.
My MD ordered one pill a day for 90 days. They sent 18 and charged about $50.
I call and they tell me my MD has to give authorization for more than 18. I call my MD twice a week for 3 weeks and nothing... his bad.
Now my General Practitioner says he'll be glad to take care of it and does! The good guy!
I call Express Scripts to ask that they not send partial orders. And let me know if there is a problem. Sound logical?
When I called a recording asks to stay on the line for a satisfaction review; that didn't happen maybe since I got switched between three people.
The first person told me what the prescription department told her as to why my request is not possible. So I asked to talk to prescriptions. At Prescriptions I was lectured on the process of getting Physician authorization and tells me that I should call my doctor and have him call their 866 line. I ask why doesn't the pharmacy take care of that... this gets her flustered and I'm told I'm interrupting... that's been explained to me several times but I finally sat quietly and let her finish the process speech and am told that the customer is responsible for knowing this and how much of an order has to be authorized. Really? BUT I am only requesting that they don't ship an order until the process is complete and there is no problem. What I asked for when I got on the line with her to begin with and finally I get her to understand this and I'm transferred to "Customer Service". I thought I'd started there. But okay. With less difficulty I explain what happened and what I want done to prevent it in the future. SO, a hold is put on the order until the full order is approved. Praise the gods! And I'm still out $50 for the first time they did it to me plus $50 when I actually get a full order. Am I a happy camper? Sorry, I think it's beer o'clock.
I cannot even think of this company without my blood pressure going through the roof. (And thankfully I have those meds stockpiled, otherwise I would probably have had a heart attack from NOT getting my medication!)
My doctor has sent in my prescriptions no fewer than 10 times and they insist they are not getting them. That's funny, because CVS has them ready for me 3 hours later with no issue. Customer service is a joke, they can barely communicate verbally at all, and if you send them an email they send you the same stock answer which is "ask your doctor to send an e-prescription!" So they clearly haven't read my email that states outright that the presciptions have been sent 10 times. Today I literally watched WHILE MY DOCTOR sent them. It shows up in my medical record as requested. But Express Scripts INSISTS they have not received it.
One "customer service" rep said you have to send a fax, so I asked my doctor to send a secure fax... still nothing! Shall I send her on horse and buggy next to sign with a fountain pen? I'm tired of harassing the poor doctor and still paying 20% more to fill my prescriptions at an actual pharmacy.
Oh and one medication requires authorization. It is basically prescription strength fish oil and you would think it was an opioid the way they're trying to control it. My doctor sent the justification and they're just ignoring it, can't even get that one at CVS. Ludicrous.
THE WORST INSURANCE OF ANY KIND I HAVE EVER HAD THE DISPLEASURE OF DEALING WITH, and as you all know, there are many crap insurance companies out there.
This is the worst company EVER. They have made it so hard to get my medication that I no longer even want to take it because it is way too STRESS and ANXIETY
Express Scripts somehow received (and violated HIPPA laws) by obtaining a copy of one of my prescription medications as well as my pharmacy and store number and sent this information to me in a letter containing PHI via USPS. Since they already had my information I decided to give them a try. However, when attempting to refill a medication, they attempted to change the 30 prescription of a controlled substance to a 90 prescription without my (or my doctor's) knowledge, resulting in a delay of receiving my medication resulting in my running out of a medication which should never be stopped abruptly do to potentially life-threatening withdrawal symptoms. After 1.5 hours on the phone and 4 different people, they finally decided to dispense the prescription as originally written, but would not commit to overnighting the prescription, resulting in a situation of abrupt withdrawal and it's associated side effects. I've filed a review and complaint with the BBB regarding the HIPPA violation and poor customer service with potentially life-threatening consequences.
Answer: Fairly easy. They are just rude and incompetent. Delaying filling prescriptions.
Answer: It's a legit company with the worlds worst service
Answer: No. And since hell would have to freeze over before I ever actually do purchase anything from Express Scripts I want to have a success story.
Answer: I pay a monthly charge which is part of my Medicare Supplement Insurance. The total premium is $439 a month but it also covers other charges Medicare does not. Then for each drug Express Scripts charges a maximum of $20 for 90 pills if generics are used. Non generics depend on the medicine; they can be much more expensive.
Answer: I had no choice, it is the only option through my employer.
