Went in with a friend we checked in at night And was greeted by a very nice lovely lady Indi she helped us a lot as we had some problems with our reservation she answered all our questions and gave detailed explanation and fixed everything for a night check in we were not accepting this nice and professional service way to go Raddison for having this great staff I would recommend my family and friends to stay here whenever they come to red deer

Rude, with no knowlege of thier position. If you need to cancel, they will demand $350.00. Absurd! I will make sure people think twice before booking a trip with these ignorant and uneducated people. I was put on hold 6 times, and each time he came back, a different story. This guy was so rude I wonder about Expedia.ca. I think charging me $350 to cancel is $#*!ed. I don't know how this guy even has a job. Total muss.

I made a hotel reservation through Expedia in September 2023 and my credit card was double charged. I have spent 5 hours on the phone over a period of three months trying to get this refund to my card. Expedia has promised multiple times to provide my refund but it never appears. My last call just now was 1 hour 30 minutes and then they told me their system was down and they'd call me back. Literally the worst company I've EVER dealt with.

I made a reservation with Expedia about a flight to San Jose with Air Canada in march 2923. The agent of Expedia made an error with the date date. I ask to expedia to change it. After many try the answer was «sorry we can't reimbourse you. You have a credit from Air Canada, but you have to use it before March 20th. I tried last week. No return from Expedia. Final result. I lost $1350. It's due to an error from EXPEDIA

I booked a car rental with Expedia, and they showed me a $700 bill, which I was fine with. However, what they failed to do is to display all the additional charges that the rental company itself (Sixt) has.
If you book directly with Sixt then they show those fees upfront, so I'm left wondering why in the hell does Expedia not show those charges if they are already available if you book directly.
Once I got home I got hit with another $500 bill for those extra charges. Never book car rental or airfare with Expedia, it's a scam.

On the image, none of the charges marked red were provided by Expedia, but available upfront on Sixt

Goods:
Website is easy to use and does provide some competitive pricing
Customer service gets the call within 2 minutes so no wait time there for stating the issue

Bads:
I wanted to book a flight and use my credit from a cancelled fight. Took about 2 hours to accomplish that. Customer service representatives constantly put you on hold to 'verify'. Seem like they are not knowledgeable and this was with all 3 of them whom I spoke to. Charged my credit card twice. Had to call them back to sort that out for almost an hour.

Conclusion:
If you are simply browsing for price comparison or in an urgent need to buy a ticket maybe. But, in case you need to make changes or cancellations you will have a very unpleasant experience.

We paid $2300 per person for a package that normally is $1100. No shuttle service was included. Had to pay extra for the bags. I am a regular traveller and this was the first time booked with Expedia.

I will never buy a tickets from you guys anymore very bad service I bought a ticket for $1200 about just one letter on my name to change they told me you have to buy another ticket for $2100 and I lost all my trip 🤦‍

Expedia booked me a connecting flight with less than 50 minutes transfer time in winter. Cost 1600 to change it 1 is too high

I don't even know where to start. I'll put it this way. They ruined my vacation to the point where I would have preferred to stay home, $3,000 later. Please take my word for it. Never, ever use Expedia.

Never using expedia again! I bought an all-in package and when I arrived at the destination, they told me my ride to and from hotel is not included. Nice job Expedia for leaving me stranded in Mexico to have to pay $100 (USD) for a taxi ride two kilometres away where my hotel was. What other choices you have when you are on a 5 hour flight and you are tired with all the luggage. Learnt my lesson. STAY AWAY FROM EXPEDIA.

Stay away! Please The mist us less company ever.Will Take yours money and that it. WILL NOT HELO YOU WITH ANYTHING. WILL OFFER YIU CANCELLATION INSURANCE BUT YOU CANT USE IT BECOUSE THE GLIGHT IS not refundable and non cancelation. I HAD GET A BOARDING PASS AND I DIDNT PUT MY SECOND NAME, You have access 24 hours to do so. I CALL THE COMPANY TO HELP oh they don't have access and the fight company can't make changes with 72 hours but. You have access 24 hours period flifgt plus yours information are not properly even send to the flight company Stay away don't value you as customer or value tours money

I booked a hotel in North Vancouver and was charged 506 dollars by Expedia. When I arrived I added another night. The same room was 306 dollars. There was no change in the room price in the week since I booked. Expedia refused any refund or even a credit for my next booking. An absolute rip off. Nothing would get me to use them again.
They didn't and don't care at all. They almost doubled the price of the room.
A TRUE RIP OFF COMPANY

Absolutely worthless website. Inept customer service and when I needed to rebook a 100% refundable trip I was unable to do so. I'm out over $6,000 and can not warn enough people away from these grifters.

Emergency SITUATION booked into quality suites Whitby
For one month that charged full price of over $200 per room per night despite hotel almost empty
Over $5000 for approx 25 nights when hotel Price is $135-150 and $200 weekend I was charged weekend rates for the month
And Ontario GOV takes over $600 in tax
Never ever again
Also terrible service at hotel.

I can only say that these people are professional thieves especially after they got your money so as soon as you pay you're finished you're doomed they let you know immediately that you have been ripped off
Even if you buy an insurance from them they will tell you this is the number call them we don't give a sh*t about you
Save yourself a lot of headache and waste of money
They will ruin your vacations

Last month booked a car rental through Expedia and added collision protection too. When I went to LA Thrifty car rental at the airport to pick up the car, (waited 3 hours in line to get the vehicle- I didn't get the SUV that I booked) they have increased the Expedia quoted rental price and asked me to take additional collision protection through Thrifty and said Expedia's collision protection is not valid. Expedia already charged my credit card for the collision protection. Now I am after Expedia to get a refund for the collision protection coverage.

J'ai louer une voiture chez Routes par le biais d'expedia le 21 Novembre et j'ai ete charge 2 fois sur ma carte de credit, apres 28 email et 12 demandes de copies de comptes et 8 telephones ils sont arrives avec une demande de remboursement suplementaire que je dois faire et leurs expedier, j'ai dus faire une demande chez Visa pour etre rembourser. Ils avaient un bon prix mais pas de service,personne parle francais. La prochaine fois je vais a;;er dans une compagnie responsable.

Our first time using this type service, we booked a hotel with the agent but were not told they would charge our credit card within 24 hrs. They did so I phoned back explaining we were not informed of this and would like to cancel and get a full refund only to be told there was a $20 administration fee. Weren't told about that either... sigh.
After several back and forth emails we ended up getting the full refund so all in all we were treated fairly. So Please be aware that you will be paying for their service within 24 hrs. We found this unacceptable simply because we seldom/never use our credit card to purchase, it serves to "hold" said service till we pay via cash, debit etc UPON arrival. Buyer beware right, my beef remains the fact this (and the NON refundable "administration" fee) was never divulged during the phone conversation and the fact that our stay was 10 or so days away. So they take your money today even though you might be months away from the actual stay/flight etc. Sorry Expedia this is not how I do business. We will not be using them again.

Worst company ever, I book to my mom last year and she went into an emergency so I cancelled, then I wanted to book another flight for her.
They forcing me to book with same airlines within 10 month and even I have to found the same seat number for the same passenger.

They just stole 900$ from us because we cannot find booking with all these silly conditions they put.

The final cost of package showed by Expedia does not reflect the actual world.
1- Hotel charged me more than what Expedia displayed at the receipt titled "Resort fee/pay at property").
2- Same for the flight. Swoop airline charged me for seat and even carry-on bag addition to the base fare showed in Expedia receipt (almost doubled).
3- The Expedia receipt is vague and uninformative (how much exactly paid for what and what was the FX rate used?).

Expedia overcharged us. When talking on the phone, I said that is a lot of money. He said it was the fees and taxes. They won't refund me.
I feel not satisfied with this outcome. I will tell others about my experience. I am out $126.52.

I was denied a credit for a future flight. The airline Air Canada would not allow me to fly because of their vaccine rules.
So I missed my connecting flight which was booked with Expedia. They refused to give my my 300.60 dollars back. There are no places to make a complaint. Everyone is stealing your money these days. Using covid as an excuse to rob you blindly. Al I wanted was to go bury my mother. Wicked. Abusing the people.

EXPEDIA, ARE THEY FOR REAL?
If you have respect for yourself, you would not use this company. They deserve zero stars, but this option is not obtainable.
A friend of mine had purchased the ticket in Toronto. From Toronto to Vienna for 3 people. In retrospect I am just looking at the numbers and I am just comparing. One ticket via EXPEDIA was $680. The taxes for that very ticket were over and above this price, to be exact, it was $851.66 = 125.24%. Because of the emergency situation at our destination, one person had to get back home as soon as possible. Directly from the hospital. You are in the situation you never want to be, since in your underwear and no access to the telephone you are in hands of good people. Expedia is not your friend, It is a money making operation you want to be far away as you can be from it! The Expedia showed no flexibility at all. No merci, no willingness to help to that one person. A new ticket in Vienna had to be purchased. $200 dollars in tax was added to the cost of the ticket, Not $851! I did not go deeper, but IMHO the difference is huge! Also the tickets in Toronto wee purchased weeks in advance, this one in Vienna was purchased one day before the flight! Obviously we are dealing with some kind of racket here! I do not have the needed experience in ordering any flight tickets, but this alone example teaches you not to use a middle man! ….That the Expedia clearly is. I ended up loosing the money I spent on that ($680+$851.68 = $1531.66) Expedia ticket, due to the absolute inflexibility and unwillingness to help by the people from Expedia. They did not reimburse or return me a one cent from that amount! (= $1531.66). So there you go. Also: With the 125.24 % added to the original ticket price your make your own deductions here!
On the other hand you should ask yourself, how is it possible that in the G7 country you have these parasites making money on hard working Canadians. Small mortgage lenders, loan shark loans, credit cards with 28 % interest are another money grabbing parasitic companies in our beautiful country. This is a clear sign, that we were sold by our politicians and I believe that every politician voting for it in the past, should be still responsible. No time limitations here. Their properties should be nationalized. After the court all of them should go to jail.

WORSE experience Ever with booking! Their
Agent made a mistake on the date of return and I could cancel and rebook it under 24hrs, they didn't let me and they said No need we'll fix it. They didn't and I couldn't cancel anymore. Me and my girlfriend spend over 8 hrs a day for past
10 days with them, they couldn't do ANYTHING and we had to pay extra to airline
To get it fix at the end!
