With so many horrible reviews, how can expedia possibly stay in business? scamming and lying seems to be a fairly short-term strategy.

Answer:

I agree, unfortunately I have been scammed by them as well. Just another unsuspecting customer being stolen from. All we can do is try and spread the word to help others hopefully not be taken in buy a dishonest crooked company.

I lost $400 by buying a hotel room on expedia a couple weeks ago. no refund because it was through expedia... if i had booked directly through the hotel i would have been fine. lesson learned for me.

Answer:

I was totally screwed by expedia and they wasted probably 20 hours of my life - anyone feel me!?

For the first time i have booked a hotel in florida through expedia.ca i am concerned about the negative reviews i don't need to change my plans i just hope that payment is as stated and that cancellation policy is as stated thanks patricia

Answer:

Unfortunately there's not much you can do about it now if you have given them your credit card. Just don't ever use them again
