Order placed in 26 August are still not fulfilled, 10 weeks late. Customer service has been contacted 3 times, via email is slow and ineffective. The order was to be shipped Oct 20, but still remains UNshipped.
Combine this with MASSIVE price increases, and it is not a good customer experience or value for money, as I have nothing to show for it.

I asked for a refund, and they promised to refund me within 5 days. It's been a month now. I can't get through to anybody and they don't respond to emails. Their phone number goes directly to voicemail. They do not return phone calls.
I ordered 4 articles of clothing. They were supposed to arrive by Oct. 25th at the latest. I need them for an event this weekend. I received a message stating that my order is delayed due to an issue with fabric quality of one of the items. I wish they would at least ship the other items so I have something to wear to a wedding this weekend! If I'd known the order might not arrive in time I would not have placed it. I've received zero responses from them to my subsequent messages. Very frustrated.
I ordered two dresses in Aug but it's almost Nov and I've not received them yet. First query they said it was an issue with the material for the dress. Waited some weeks nothing still, asked again, said it was ready for shipping and I would get an alert very shortly. Waited another few weeks still nothing. Asked for update no other communication at all. No offer of refund or any other explanation. Not even sure how I can even request a refund now. Complete no communication for a few weeks now.
Update Nov 7: A week or so after the refund was processed, I received a courier delivery containing the one item that had been completed. While there was no further communication from customer service, this goodwill gesture moved me to add 2 more stars to the review, as the clothes are perfectly made to measure and high quality. I will give eshakti another chance.
I've been a loyal eShakti customer for over a decade, but my recent experience has been a complete letdown. I placed my order on August 17, and it's now 10 weeks later, with no delivery in sight.
The lack of communication regarding this significant delay is inexcusable, and so I decided to cancel the order and ask for a refund. To keep a customer's money for two months without delivering the product or offering any sort of goodwill gesture feels like I gave them an interest-free loan.
It's really disappointing, as their clothing is well made, high quality fabrics and the being able to customize always ensure that the outfits fit me perfectly. In the past I always had good experiences with them, however my last two orders have been significantly delayed; I ordered well in advance of the events I needed them for... one arrived a week late, and this most recent order never arrived at all after 2 months. The only communication I received was that it will be shipped soon and I will be provided with a tracking number.
Unless there are substantial improvements in eShakti's customer service, my loyalty has been shattered, and I'll be taking my business elsewhere. A deeply unsatisfactory experience.

I purchased two dresses in May 2023. Was given a timeframe of when the dresses would arrive (05-18-2023 and 05-24-2023). On May 31 I reached out as I hadn't received my items or any communication. I reached out again June 5th after not receiving my order. Part of my order was shipped June 16. I e-mailed asking them to cancel the rest of my order as I no longer needed the dresses (the wedding I was to attend had passed). This was ignored. I sent back the first dress a few days after receiving it ~June 18. It is now October 5 2023. I have continuously e-mailed EShakti about my refund. They have stopped responding. Terrible Terrible experience.

I ordered a dress specifically for a wedding. The confirmation email stated the dress would be received between the 15th and the 30th. I checked several days ago and there is no update on the order page, not even showing that it is in production yet and it is already the 1st. I've sent two email requests for information and have yet to receive any response.
**Update - I finally spoke with a representative who apologized for the extremely long delay. She was very professional and polite and processed a refund very quickly. I amended my original rating from 2 to 3 as a result of her willingness and courtesy to resolve the situation so quickly. I will try again when I don't need it for a specific occasion because the dresses are lovely.
I had an overall positive experience. I ended up returning one of the items since it wasn't to my liking, but the other item was exactly as I pictured and I'm sure it will be a wardrobe favorite for me.

I just got my second order from eshakti. The first time the dress I got needed a remake - all I had to do was describe the adjustments needed and I received a new dress that was perfect for me.
Before they would make my second order items I was asked how the remade item worked out so they could use those parameters to create my new clothes. The dress I ordered most recently was obviously made according to the remade dress adjustments and it fits like a glove! Incredible customer care and service.
The "Cowl Neck Cotton Jersey Tunic And Pant Set"
I ordered this with a couple customisations, sleeveless and in a different coloured fabric. Over all I love the jersey. The arm holes ride a little high in my arm pits but besides that the fit, fabric and look are spot on!
The knocked off stars come from the pants. The elastic in the waistband is thick, stiff and VERY uncomfortable. It's also free floating, only sewn in at the back seam, and gets annoyingly twisted inside the fabric. If it weren't how unusable the pants are as is, this garnet would have gotten at least 4*. In the images I'm wearing the pants both high and at my belly button, neither is a good look or comfortable. I will probably try to remove the elastic my self and replace it with something less binding.
As for the company. The delivery was fast considering the distance. My original attempt to give a review directly to the site was never accepted though. They also requested feed back but never got back to me about it after it was submitted.
Product is exactly as described. Great, prompt service.

Answer: I have been ordering the standard sizes and they are true to the measurements posted. No matter what you put in your height, so the length is always spot on.
Answer: Purchase a dress that is made with the knit fabric. It is flexible and much more loose feeling than the other fabrics. If you do decide to add inches to the measurement, I recommend only adding 1-2 inches AND only add those inches where you like it loser. For example, measure your arms true to size unless you like it a bit lose. Measure your waist true to size unless that is where you like it a bit lose. But honestly, I think you will find the knit dresses to be the best if you dislike tight fitting clothing! I also am not a fan and those are the dresses I wear most often! I have bought other styles, so I have other fabrics to compare it to.
