Spent $1300 last may and still have not received product and they will not respond to me about it. It's awful and I am so angry.
In August 2024 I received an email stating my order was delayed due to fabric issue. Its now almost one year and still no order or feedback.
I used to love eShakti, but I ordered a dress back in May that I still have not received in November. They also have not returned my emails. The dress cost me over $80. I would like my money back, but I now have no way to contact them because they never answer.
Don't order anymore from here. They don't fulfill orders anymore, but still take the money. They've been my favorite – and life-changing – company for years. But I'm still waiting for 300$ worth of clothes after 9 months, and no answer to my email enquiries or follow-ups of any kind. Even their phone is out of ordre.
This company used to provide excellent service and I ordered from them twice in the past. My most recent order was in February of 2024 and it will be my last. There was delay after delay in shipping, but I initiated all communication, so the company was not forthcoming about the delays. Eventually, after so many delays with a couple items, customer service recommended I cancel those and just ship the remaining. I agreed, and then those items never shipped AND no refund was issued for the cancelled items. By July, I could no longer continue to wait for the items to ship. The company agreed to cancel all the items and issue a refund. I email the company about once ever my two-three weeks to remind them I still have not received any refund for my items. The company has not responded to ANY contact I have had with them since the order was cancelled in July.
I placed an order on February 10th of this year. When it showed no signs of shipping by the estimated date of delivery, I reached out. Like a previous reviewer, I was told there was a problem with the fabric quality. Because I was leaving that address and traveling abroad for a while, eShakti agreed to hold the shipment until June. When I reached out in June with a new delivery address, I was told there was still a problem with the fabric quality. EShakti offered to cancel the two items that were impacted and would ship the rest. I have not yet received a refund for those two items. Also, while a shipment order was placed by their carrier for June 27th (I had to ask for the tracking information— that was never sent to me as promised), I can see from the tracking information that a shipment has never been picked up. I have told eShakti repeatedly that I am only in the US for a limited amount of time. They had over a month to ship and deliver the items but never did. Nor have they ever reached out with updates or information— I had to reach out to them to learn any of the information I received. Now that I am reaching out for a refund, all contact with me has dropped. I have tried twice (July 14 and 17) through the email address with the customer service representative who had been in regular contact with me, once through their customer service form, and once through a phone call (July 25) though no one picked up and I doubt anyone will try to call me back given the runaround I have already received. I have ordered from eShakti in the past and never had these problems, but I this feels shady at this point (once refunds are mentioned, all customer service is gone?) and would NOT recommend their business going forward.
I was a loyal eShakti customer for years, loved their dresses and their customer service was great. But starting at the end of 2023, they started taking forever to make the dresses, and now in 2024 they just take your money and never send you any clothes. They even responded to my messages saying they would give me a refund but never did. Don't buy from them.
I loved eShakti, but since some time they have stopped to respond and exist. I ordered some dresses in Nov 2023. About half of the order arrived in Feb/24. The remaining part has still (now Oct/2024) not arrived and eShakti is totally unresponsive.

If I could give this company negative stars I would. I canceled an item 7 months ago, and after several calls and messages, I still do not have a refund. I ordered two tops in March of this year, and again after several unanswered calls and messages, I don't have the items and NOBODY will return calls or reply to messages. I am so disgusted by this company. I even filed a complaint with the BBC, and they were ignored as well. STAY AWAY FROM eSHAKTI.
I ordered three items from them in 2/2024. It is now 10/2024 and nothing. I reported them to the better business bureau in June requesting refund, no refund no order. They lied stating the order would be delivered...still nothing. I have been a customer since 2017 ordering thousands of dollars of dresses. I have no idea what happened? Never again!
I ordered three garments mid-February. They are still waiting to be made. I have been told that there is a quality issue with fabric after three different times requesting an update. Today is 4/29 and all three garments with different fabrics are still in the same status as they were the first week of March. I requested that the garments that did not have a fabric quality issue be completed without any response. I am frustrated since I ordered them for specific events that have come and gone. The only time I have received communication is when I have asked over and over. I am not certain what is going on but I am a long time customer and this is the WORST experience. I am beyond frustrated since no alternatives have been offered.
NEVER ORDER FROM ESHAKTI. I used to love them. I have several eshakti dresses. But about a year ago they stopped having customer support. I had several dresses backlogged for months. I filed better business bureau report and they gave me gift cards not cash. I asked for cash and they deleted my gift cards. They don't have BBB certification anymore for scamming other people just like me. This is a scam company now. Don't order!
I used to purchase almost all of my clothes from eshakti.com. I was a frequent and enthusiastic customer beginning in 2012. However, the last three orders were disasters and I urge everyone to shop elsewhere.
I ordered in the late fall of 2023 with my usual custom sizing and all of the pieces that arrived fit very poorly. I was given a hefty gift certificate/discount code for my next order and told I could keep the ill fitting garments.
I then placed an order in early March for dresses I needed in early May. They never arrived. After communicating with the customer service department they said they would cancel the order and give a refund. I never received the refund.
I placed an additional order in early April (under the assumption that the order placed in March was merely delayed) for a new set of events for June. They never arrived and I also never received a refund.
In short:
- One order with incorrect measurements
- One order cancelled (because was so delayed and was never made) without a refund
- One order never arrived, not given the opportunity to cancel, and never received a refund.
I haven't heard anything from the company since late May, even with repeated attempts to contact them. Safe yourself a headache and do not use eshakti.com.
They offer a two to four week fulfillment. I have tried to reach them to find out status of my order, since it appears on my order online that after 5 weeks they have taken no action to fill my order. After three emails and three voice mails for which I have never received a response, I will be calling my credit card company to report that I have been defrauded.
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY YOU WILL LOSE YOUR MONEY! I purchased three shirts for $153 Dollars in APRIL OF 2024. Seven months later, I have not received my order and customer service refuses to refund my money or replace the items. They said there was a delay due to issues with fabric, I asked for a refund and they refused. I attempted a charge back, they fought the chargeback. I have messaged them several times and they have stopped responding. I saw on LinkedIn that the CEO stole money from the company and locked employees out of the company. DO NOT BUY FROM eSHAKTI YOU WILL LOSE YOUR MONEY. If I could give them zero stars I would!
I ordered a dress and kept having to ask for updates on it's delivery. For the 1st three emails I sent to their customer service, I would get a response saying there was a 3-4 week "delay". They string it out long enough that there is no recourse to get one's money back, for example, I paid via PayPal, but they have a 150 day limit from the date of purchase, so now I have no recourse. I was stupid to be strung along - don't make the same mistake! I am attaching a copy of one of my many emails to them.
I ordered in May and by July still nothing. Contacted the company multiple times. The company promised a refund on July 28. I have seen no dress and no refund.

I have been a loyal and happy customer of eshakti for over 7 years. They were always wonderful and such a blessing for my short torsoed self. But, they are now a scam! Customer service plummeted. I have not received the last two dresses I ordered and their number is now disconnected.
Once a trusted and great company is now a money grab. They need to shut down their site!
Save money and disappointment. Your order will go through and you will receive an automated confirmation. Then a couple weeks later an email about fabric delay. Then… nothing.
I am more disappointed about a custom clothes place going down than I am about the lost money and unfulfilled orders…
I have been Ording from eShakti for 4 years and have bought over 10 products and I Love each one! The custom sizing is a dream come true for comfortable and flattering clothes! All the dresses come with pockets. Their customer service is great. Give them a try- you won't regret it!
EShakti used to be my go to place for clothing! I loved how you could adapt and customise clothing and they've always had a really great array of designs.
However since 2023 their customer service and deliveries have been absolutely shocking. I have been waiting for a delivery of two dresses for over six months now. Then the company cancelled the order and I am still awaiting a refund of hundreds of dollars.
The company that once was no longer exists and I cannot recommend them any longer. It's so sad to see their demise.
I wish they would just be transparent with customers about the problems that they are dealing with. Problems with fabric don'th cut it anymore!
I have been a loyal customer of EShakti for 10 years. I LOVE their clothing. I regularly recommend the company to friends. However, lately your customer service has been awful. I am still awaiting a refund 8 weeks after the item arrived back at their warehouse, I have three items of clothing that should have been delivered weeks ago. I have emailed customer service multiple times and got no reply. In addition, I have left 5 voicemails - none have been returned.
I cannot in all conscience continue to recommend eShakti to my network. In addition, I will be lodging a payment complaint through my credit card company as I am hundreds of dollars out of pocket.

Ordered 3 items 6 months ago, and they have not been delivered. The site is stating that one item has been ready to ship for 8wks, but because the other items are not ready, eshakti is not shipping the single item. I no longer believe that the status of the items is honest. The site's phone # is no longer active, and emails are not receiving a response. JUST DON'T order from eshakti.

Answer: I have been ordering the standard sizes and they are true to the measurements posted. No matter what you put in your height, so the length is always spot on.
Answer: Purchase a dress that is made with the knit fabric. It is flexible and much more loose feeling than the other fabrics. If you do decide to add inches to the measurement, I recommend only adding 1-2 inches AND only add those inches where you like it loser. For example, measure your arms true to size unless you like it a bit lose. Measure your waist true to size unless that is where you like it a bit lose. But honestly, I think you will find the knit dresses to be the best if you dislike tight fitting clothing! I also am not a fan and those are the dresses I wear most often! I have bought other styles, so I have other fabrics to compare it to.

Even adding a deisgn I requested to Fabric Customisation. Winning! I have only had to return 1 dress and it was easy and I got a full refund. Answer: From my experience, In most cases the products are made in the featured color and fabric. There are some items that are offered in different colors on the site. As for the daughter, I suggest using the measurement chart and submitting it to see if it can be accomplished.
