Placed an order for a dress on April 28. I requested for an update on May 23. I received a response saying it's delayed. There's a manufacturing defect. I requested for a cancellation. By May 30, I received an email that a refund is being processed. I filed a complaint against eshakti with BBB on June 11. As of June 26, refund status is still being processed. Eshakti is a scam. Don't trust the positive reviews in the past. Go to bbb and see all the scams this site has recently accomplished.
I wish I could leave a 0, I have not gotten my refund for an order canceled in April now July. No help from customer service except to say they submitted it to the "team" and no one answers the phone
This has been the worst experience EVER. I ordered two dresses with customization 02/21/2024. NO MERCHANDISE was received. After calling and NEVER being able to reach anyone via telephone, I began writing and weeks later received a call back, when the wait time became disrespectfully ridiculous; I email 05/21/2024. I was answered by email and promise a credit within 5-7 days. As of today NO merchandise and NO credit. How do you charge 16.00 USD for shipping and I got nothing. I just completed the process with my bank to report this as fraud. Disgusting!
I ordered a dress (a standard size) on March 12,2024 and received a confirmation email. It's May 30th and I have nothing to show for that order. No dress, no returned phone calls or emails. Do not waste your time with this company. It's unfortunate because the clothes were cute and I was hoping they'd be legit bc I'd have ordered more. Total disappointment and I'm out $120! If I could give it 1/2 star I would!
Never got the dress I ordered, never got any follow-up to whete it's been and when finally I asked for a refund, they said "yes" but didn't proceed. So I didn't have my dress, nor my money back. So disappointed and angry!

It has been 8 months and I still dont have my full order. They finally agreed to refund me on the outstanding item but it has been 3 months and no refund in sight. I really wanted to love this company and ordered a bunch of custom items but I had to alter most of them because they did not come as per my measurements and they took so long to arrive (or not at all) so I was afraid to send them back to be fixed. Not worth it! They don't answer their phone and rarely answer emails.
BEWARE! I ordered very well-made, custom-fitted garments for many years, which were delivered promptly. But something has gone very, very wrong in the last couple of months. No one is responding to my inquiries about where my clothes are that I ordered and paid for over a month ago. The progress bar has been stalled in the same place for 4 weeks. No one is answering the customer service phone, and no one is responding to emails I am sending them. I am currently trying to claw back the payment. Why are they posting new designs and accepting orders?

Order was placed early February. March I reach out to get the status of the order. Was told it was delayed due to fabric issues (NOTE this is not the first time I was told this based on other orders). Waited another 3 weeks and still NO order, no response to multiple emails. I reached out to get a status, was again told fabric issues, At that time (April 19th) I asked to have the order cancelled and be refunded. Five days later I got a response saying a refund would be processed and mailed to me. I asked for the refund to be credited to my card utilized for payment - no response. I reached out multiple times (weekly) between mid April and now to no avail. I still have not received a refund, nor communications from them. As noted prior, they used the line 'fabric issues' for past orders which delayed orders by a month or two, but now this excuse seems to be a regular occurance and NOT refunding or cancelling orders is fradulent.
Never sent anything, never responded to any attempts to contact them. Multiple reviews say this is a trend starting this year. Had to submit a case with PayPal to get my money back since I could not contact them
My product took three months to ship and once it was marked as shipped, it said it would be 10-14 business days. I am still waiting and it's now April (almost 4 months since I ordered) and I have still not received the product. According to tracking it has been delivered. We live in a safe area and have cameras. Nothing ever came. I have reached out via phone and email and haven't heard a word. I'm out over $70 for nothing.
I ordered a white non-customized blouse one month ago for a special event with expected delivery in 15-19 day. There has been no response to emails or phone calls. The money, however, was taken out of my bank account the day after my order was submitted. I will never order from this company again nor refer it to any friends. Extremely disappointed.
EShakti used to be an amazing for beautiful custom-made clothing at a reasonable price. Those days are over. Now the wait times are forever long, they don't seem to care about your business, they don't answer their email, and they don't take their customer seriously. They're great if they actually get you clothes ever but wait times are months long and they don't seem to be in the business of doing that lately. I think that they're moving over towards a manufacturing model rather than a retail one which is really sad.
I placed a large order on 2/17 and the company took my money (upwards of $800) immediately. It is now 5/29 and I still have no dresses. I called and emailed at least twice a week for the past month with no response. Last week, I requested the order be cancelled because the events for the dresses have long passed and I have received no response. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and filed a dispute/requested a chargeback with my credit card company in hopes of getting my money back since the company is not communicating. Do yourself a favor and do not order from eShakti.
I wish I read this reviews worse communication and customer service. I ordered more than 20 dresses from this website all of my orders still waiting some of them I ordered last year November up to now I haven't received those dresses. When I try to call customer all I got is voice mails saying to leave a messages. Wonder if anyone could share here a number or best contact cause I am tired of calling also send email
I have used eShakti for more than 10 years on a regular basis. As a plus size woman it is hard to find any clothes I like let alone quality made clothing. Being big I am hard on my clothes and have often had store bought items get holes in places I can not hide. EShakti has been great until the last year. I am waiting 3 or more months for clothes to arrive. What is the point of ordering a summer dress if it is winter when it arrives?
As an experienced client I will agree you have to be very careful about fabrics and know what works on your body. Some of the items are really cheap looking.
E Shakti claimed that the material for my dress did not arrive. I learned by enquiring myself a week before my special event. No refund was ever given despite assurances.

These people are thieves. I placed a very large order. I never got any of the clothes. I couldn't get them to respond for months. When they finally did, they said they'd send my money back. They haven't. They stole hundreds of dollars from me. Avoid this company!
This company is horrible to do business with. No communication, nothing is ever on time. I've been waiting on a dress I ordered in February that was supposed to be received no later than 3/19. It still hasn't even been made yet, and good luck trying to cancel your order. They'll tell everyone who complains that they're having issues with fabric quality when they finally reply. They won't even answer the phone or give call backs. Emails take weeks to be replied to. I opened a dispute with the Better Business Bureau and finally had enough and reversed my credit card payment. Avoid this business at all costs. If you check their actual BBB profile they are not rated A+, their website is misleading.
I ordered a dress 11/28. It was supposed to be received no later than 12/17. I never received it and any message I sent was not replied to until after a month had passed. They claim inferior fabric but this seems to be a continuato excuse they're using if you check their BBB complaints. This used to be a good company to order from. This is the first time I've ever had to file a claim against a company with my credit card company because I never received my order.
I ordered 2 clothing items totaling $174.80 they never arrived and when I contacted the company they said it's because the fabric was on back order so I waited another month before I contacted them again to cancel and refund me. They said that they would - that was a long time ago, they will not return my emails or phone calls - they are thieves! Don't buy from them they steal!
I've been ordering from them for years! Every garment arrives swiftly, perfectly, and packaged beautifully! If you've never had clothes cut to your exact measurements you will be amazed at the difference -and for less than $10 for customization. I've ordered dozens of dresses and tops, the few times something hasn't fit just right they are quick to replace it at no charge. I honestly believe eShakti is the future of fashion and I just don't bother with other sites. They carry sizes 0-36, but cut everything to your height. You can also choose the neckline, the sleeve length and the hem-making ALL of their thousands of designs assessable to anyone! Affordable, many sales, a wide array of styles, incredible value, I get LOADS of compliments every time I step out!

Answer: I have been ordering the standard sizes and they are true to the measurements posted. No matter what you put in your height, so the length is always spot on.
Answer: Purchase a dress that is made with the knit fabric. It is flexible and much more loose feeling than the other fabrics. If you do decide to add inches to the measurement, I recommend only adding 1-2 inches AND only add those inches where you like it loser. For example, measure your arms true to size unless you like it a bit lose. Measure your waist true to size unless that is where you like it a bit lose. But honestly, I think you will find the knit dresses to be the best if you dislike tight fitting clothing! I also am not a fan and those are the dresses I wear most often! I have bought other styles, so I have other fabrics to compare it to.

Even adding a deisgn I requested to Fabric Customisation. Winning! I have only had to return 1 dress and it was easy and I got a full refund.
