I thought it was a great idea to buy a cool maternity product from them, and a sale was announced 2 days after I ordered. I asked for a price adjustment and almost 2 weeks later they told me they don't do those. Surprising and unfortunate given the price point, and I will not be recommending to any friends given this customer service. I am in a client-facing role for work and how this was handled by a company that charges so much is not good-so as the consumer, be prepared for bad customer service and set your expectations low if you choose to order from here.
I have had nothing but issues with this company.
First order did arrive but had one item missing.
Second order I placed after receiving an email about the sale that had just started. 2 days later received a refund on my card with no explanation.
Third order I thought I would try again when I got another email about a final round of reductions with new items added. Same thing again, partial refund with no explanation. Presumably one item is still arriving, but I can't be sure as have no info. Might just have forgotten to refund it?
It's very disingenuous to keep advertising sales when items are just not available. I've learned my lesson and will not be not be shopping with this company again.
I bought a nursing hoodie when I was around 7 months pregnant, so I didn't get to wear it until after my return window expired. When I finally did wear it, it left loads of lint all over everything it touched. I washed it in the washing machine and it coated literally everything in lint. TERRIBLE quality. I sent an email about it and received an "oh, well. Sorry nothing we can do" kind of response. Company does not stand behind its products.
Awful incompetent company
Awful company, ordered some clothes online and paid for next-day delivery, it has now been 3 days and I finally receive an email saying it's delayed and not going to arrive till after I leave for the hospital. The company's customer care is dreadful, they don't even have a phone number. Some of these clothes were for my husband so he could have something for skin-to-skin time when my first baby is born (twins coming). In my opinion, use any other company. These guys don't know how to operate.
I recently bought a maternity/ nursing dress for my daughter for her birthday
Because we don't live close there was a gap of 3 weeks between the time I received the dress in the mail and when I brought it to her and when she returned it to me after she decided it didn't look good on her. I should have read the return policy more carefully, my mistake but usually better vendors have generous return policies and 2 weeks is ridiculously short. Then I tried contacting customer service on their site. Where is it.
Will never purchase from them again.
I bought a mom & child matching sweater and onesie set. Seraphine forgot to send the onesie--already ruining my Christmas gift for my pregnant sister-in-law. Rather than just send the missing onesie, Seraphine is requiring us to return the item... just so we can get back the exact same sweater plus the onesie they forgot to send. I now have to go explain to a woman in her third trimester why she needs to add an extra errand to her list because Seraphine can't just throw the onesie *they* forgot to send into the mail. (Oh, and this is after Seraphine did not respond to my initial email for two weeks.) What an unnecessarily poor user experience, and an embarrassment for a company that sells products at this price point! Is it really worth losing customers over logistical issues that Seraphine could easily fix? I guess so.
I bought 3 pairs and returned 2 of them. I am struggling to get my refund because of an error on their system as I was told. The claim was also closed by Paypal team because the seller disputed the amount to be refunded. The Seraphine staff, Manon, is bad-mannered and not supportive at all. It was rather an expensive pair of jeans costing me £ 181 for 1 pair jeans. Be aware of these scammers who cheat on customers.
This is my worst online shopping experience. I ordered a nursing dress (US12), and I only got half of it, with the wrong size. The store really expects that you will keep the trimmings for $ 100, so as not to strain with the return. I do not advise buying anything from this seller. It will not meet your expectations
Called exactly in 6 minutes to cancel the order. But Communication is extremely poor, girls do not know what to do trying to reach their supervisor all the time. Stayed on a line for 1.5hs and nothing was done. The only thing that was constantly repeated to me is that they don't guarantee anything, no refund can be issued, it's all my fault. Never shop here again. Lost the parcel, lost money, and lots of time.
I ordered three dresses from their website and thought they were reasonably priced and looked nice. I was told I would receive it in three days. Three days come and go and I check the tracking number to see that it was never sent. Shortly thereafter I see a refund issued to me for two of the three dresses. I contacted customer support to see when I would receive the third dress and why I was refunded for the other two. I got a response four business days later explaining that they were out of stock and I would be refunded for the dresses and the shipping fee. I then had to respond again to say that I was not refunded for the third dress or the shipping fee, and I was confused as to why I was not getting the third dress. They told me that they just refunded me for everything and that the second refund should show up later. Thankfully I still have three weeks to figure out something else to wear to a wedding, but I am mad that this whole process took a week and a half to resolve.
I sent tree email and never receive any response. Seraphine charged me $12.95 in shipping fees and did not respect the engagement to deliver the items in two days. It happened twice. I even tried to call and an automatic message told me to send an email.
I'm greatly disappointed by this company and I don't recommend it to anyone. Items are really expensive and the quality dosent worth the price.
I purchased a handful of items from Seraphine and accidentally ordered two of the same shirt that I ended up returning (I sent both back) and was only refunded for 1 of the 2 shirts. I wrote them to ask about it and they made me provide additional details and said they had to check with the warehouse and were not responding to me with updates in the duration they said they would. It was a hassle to get the proper refund and then they said it was my fault for not writing on my return paper the correct number of items. I think the customer service was extremely poor and they shouldn't have blamed me for incorrectly refunding me.
I waited until the end of their claimed shipping time. Then I asked where is my order. Later I received a refund for my order, (I didnt even ask for refund.)
When I asked to customer support what is going on? They answered there was nothing else to do due to internal system error.
Awful system, awful customer service,
I have purchased a dress for work worth £129 in August. As the weather was too hot I couldn't wear it until September. After 2 weeks, the fabric stated to fade and it stated to break creating 2 big holes. I took it back to the Marylebone branch and the lady did nothing. Asking me to go back after 2 weeks as he manager wasn't available and that she would call me. She did not and the dress is now useless. I spent a £129 to buy a dress to wear only 2 times.
Quality is so so. Cut of dresses is good. All jeans feel itchy to the skin and the cut doesnt suit me. Fair enough. I returned parts of two different orders. Both times there was a problem with the return. Complete amateurs! First time order was not on the system, second the wrong refund amount was popping up. After waiting a month for refunds, I wrote them an email asking where my refund is?! They made an excuse with covid, but refund was immediately sent through. So what if indont ask for my money back, they dont send the refund through?!?!?! Not at all professional. Will never order from them again.
Blaming myself for not checking reviews before purchasing. The nails don't stick or even harden (kept them under the light for 12 min) Total junk and bummed that I just threw money away.
They are not serious at all. I have ordered a 3 in 1 active hoodie and a pair of face masks and I was charged £4.95 for delivery. I have just got the parcel with the face masks only and an email from them with a refund for the hoodie without any other explanation, both of them on the same day, the order and the refund email. So I have just paid £4.95 delivery for 2 face masks worthing £5. You can imagine that I wouldn't order the face masks if I wasn't interested in the hoodie. This is how they respect their customers? I need to know why didn't they notify me that there won't be any hoodie on my order. Even on the delivery note there is no specification about any refunded or missing item. Why are they doing this? Why didn't they email me about the missing hoodie before the shipping confirmation? Why would they confirm that they shipped the whole order to me if there was the main item missing and I got their catalogue instead where the hoodie is available for order? Very weird! They sent me the email with the refund on the day I got the delivery that was placed 4 days ago. Seraphine should have let me know about the missing item earlier, don't you think? I feel like this is some kind of stupid joke and I will never order from them again. This is why Seraphine deserves a rating and a review of the same quality my order is. I wish there was a Zero star option for you.
This company should be ashamed of itself.
I had my first baby April of 2021 and am currently pregnant with my second child- it's July 2022. For my birthday in December of 2020 when I was pregnant my first time in the middle of a pandemic, my friend purchased me $100 gift card to use for maternity clothes with this company. A very nice gesture from my friend.
I received the email with the gift card code and it had absolutely NO mention of an expiration date anywhere in the email. So it being December and close to the holidays I was busy and quickly skimmed the email and decided I would save the gift card for later when I had time to browse their website.
My son ended up having a medical complication they discovered in utero that would require surgery after he was born, so worry and time got the best of me and I forgot all about the gift card.
Fast forward to now being pregnant with my second baby and I remembered the gift card I had from last year and I went to use it and the code no longer worked.
I emailed the company and it turns out their gift cards are only good for one year, yet there is no mention of this in the email they sent out to my friend or myself with the gift card code. You have to hunt on their website to find that out. So they got my friends $100 and I got nothing but a headache and a feeling of disgust that you would take people's money in a time like this.
I totally understand if 5 years or some crazy long length of time had passed, but 17 months later amidst a pandemic where they have gotten paid to provide nothing just doesn't sit well with me.
Even if the gift card was validated now I don't EVER want to shop with a company like this or own anything they provide.
I'm a business owner myself and gift cards do not expire on my website. I would never take someone's hard earned money because they didn't spend it in a certain timeframe I see fit. Especially a pregnant woman's time.
2 days travel food on this ship is unacceptable, you will go hungry! Take your own with you or don't use it!
When I was first maternity shopping on-line, i ordered from three maternity boutique websites. Seraphine.co was the first order to arrive. The order also included many free samples and coupons for Mommy-type stuff. Bonus!
However, at the end of the day, free stuff is good and fast shipping is great, but I'm a business-owner and first-time-mum-to-be, I need comfortable, stylish, versatile clothing appropriate for a corporate environment. Seraphine.co delivered!
When I was first showing (around end of month 3), I wore items from this site and for two months people were like... "You're pregnant?" the draping, quality, variety, and style really made it hard to tell. I'm 6 months now and there's now avoiding the fact that I'm carrying a little life in my midsection. But women in the workplace ask me all the time how i'm fitting in to "regular" clothing so far in to my pregnancy. That makes me smile.
The fast shipping, quality construction and fabrics, stylish and versatile options, and a HUGE range of versatility really appeal to me. It's a tad more trendy than professional, but its WAY better than frumpy. And the casual stuff is really great for weekends. SOOOO much better than sweatpants and oversized tees that many women seem to wear when pregnant.
For my level, this is a highly affordable site. Its also fun to read the advice and tips sections. I'm glad I found this website early in my pregnancy. Its enabled me to add some interest to my maternity wardrobe. HIGLY RECOMMENDED!
