I placed an order for 3 dresses, received confirmation they were to arrive no later than December 23,2023. As of today, Jan 25,2024, I still do not have my order. I've called eShakti's customer service numerous times, always have to leave a message; I've also emailed their CS numerous times. The only response I received was from "Diana" who stated they were experiencing fabric flaws - she did not give me any time frame as to when I'd receive my order. I do not recommend ordering anything from this company EVER!

They stated the were having trouble getting the fabric and didn't think they could fulfill the order but to call back in 48 hours for an update. I called on 12/29,1/2,1/3.1/4.1/5 and 1/7 for an update. All of those calls went unanswered. Called on 1/8/24. They told me they could not fulfill the order and would refund my order. They told me the refund would be issued by 1/12. I have received no refund. I called on 1/15,1/16 and 1/17 for an update. All of these messages have gone unanswered. Called on 1/22/24 and their phones are disconnected.
When I ordered from eshakti on 11-22-2023, I was told in the confirmation email, "Your order will be delivered to you between 12-05-2023 and 12-11-2023".
I followed up on 12-05-2023 to see when it would ship and if I would get a tracking number. They replied that there was a problem with the fabric and it was unclear when my order would ship. I cancelled my order on 12-09-2023 because it seemed like the clothes would not arrive in time for the event I had ordered them for.

In 2023 my first order was over a month late. Since it was late they gave me a "coupon" for my next order. This next order was also late. It was advertised as an A - line swing type dress. It came as a Body con dress and had dirt on the hem. I sent it back. No answers from customer service for a refund. Called, emailed, and filled out the online form. Final refund came a month after they received the return. They did not honor the "Coupon" so in effect, I payed $25 to wait a month for a dress, look at it, and send it back. I won't order again.
I ordered a dress in the beginning of November for New Year's. I never received any tracking information, only an email saying that it would arrive in the beginning of December. After it never showed. I started calling and leaving messages through the website. No one ever returned my emails or my voicemails, and it was impossible to get anybody on the phone. After a full week of calling every day, I finally got in touch with a customer service rep who went ahead and canceled the order. Apparently they were out of the fabric and the dress was not even made yet but no one had called to. Let me know of the delay or let me know that it would not be arriving even close to on time.
That customer service rep did cancel the order and sent me a confirmation canceling the order, then told me I would receive a separate email about my refund. It's now been 2 weeks and I have not received any money back or any emails, and once again nobody is responding to my messages or my voicemails.
This is incredibly disappointing. I was really excited to finally buy a dress from the site after I had heard such good things and to have such a terrible experience is really heartbreaking.

I have been ordering from eshakti for years. In the beginning they were amazing from quality to customer service. Lately, everything has gone down hill. Most recently I ordered several hundred dollars worth of dresses. I ordered mid November and I'm one month in and my card has been charged but my order hasn't shipped. I have tried reaching out multiple times and can't get through by phone. I've sent four messages to customer service to see if it was going to ship anytime soon. I finally heard back but all they said was they would sent me an email as soon as it ships but offered no apology or explanation as to what was holding up the shipping. It wouldn't be a big deal that it takes a while to get to me since it's coming from India, but for the website to show that all my dresses are made and yet nothing is getting shipped is frustrating. Customer service has gone down. For sure.
I love most of their products, especially their poplins (although some of their knits can be a little below average)—I've ordered literally dozens of dresses from them over the years, and I've never returned one. They've always been slow, but considering their prices, I haven't really worried about it. The past six months or so, though, it takes literally MONTHS to receive your items. Prices have gone up, as well. The last straw for me is a steep decline in the quality of their customer service. It takes days for questions to be answered, and they don't provide answers, only bs excuses. The very beginning of November, I ordered three dresses to give as Xmas gifts—it's mid-December, and they haven't even started work on them. I've asked to cancel all three orders. I think we're done.
Huge scam! I ordered 3 dresses in October, only one was a custom order. When the projected delivery date came and went, o contacted the company for an update. I was told two items were backordered due to out-of stock fabric but that the items would ship by end of that week, and a shipping tracking number would be emailed to me. When that week went by, I contacted the company again for the tracking number and was given a whole new reason for delay. This time it was quality assurance on the custom item. I requested my order be expedited given the two delays causing my order to be a month late but was told they could not do that, so I cancelled my order. Feeling as though I was being scammed and given the run around, I requested an immediate refund and email confirmation number. I was emailed a conformation of my cancelled order and told I'd get a refund in 24-72 hours. 2 weeks later, I called back and was informed that the order was cancelled but the refund was not sent to billing to process. I was ensured I'd get a refund within 24 hours again now that the issue was escalated to billing management but am still waiting to get the refund after 3 days. I had to contact my bank to dispute the charge, but all said and done it has been 3 months since I ordered so I'm not likely going to be able to dispute a charge that old. This is a total scam company that is taking money and not providing the products that are falsely being advertised. I would leave a zero-star review if I could.
I was excited to try eShakti after reading about their customization options in a fashion blog. Big mistake to go on that reference alone- reviews are extremely negative when you start reading them. I ordered nearly $300 in clothing and my order was placed on "hold" because I'd ordered a couple different sizes following review of their size chart for specific garments. They requested my measurements, which I sent same-day and they didn't get back to me for six days! Once they did, it was the same exact request "your order is on hold"…."send us your measurements". I responded to this message with a screenshot of my previous message asking if it was not received. Several days later I requested to cancel my order and was told that a refund would be processed within TWENTY ONE BUSINESS DAYS. This was in direct contradiction to their refund policy online stating refund processing at 7 business days. When I pasted this url in from their website and screenshotted the statement, additionally copying the consumer protection agency for my state, the timeline miraculously changed to 2 business days. It's now been 4 business days and nothing. Just avoid them. It's not worth it.

I bought a dress from eShakti for a formal wedding. I was told I was going to receive it by a certain date. I contacted customer service via phone and that delivery date was confirmed. As the delivery day got closer, I received no information about the dress shipping. I reached out several times to customer service via phone and website messenger with no success. Finally got in touch with somebody at customer service via phone and found out. They haven't even started my dress and my delivery date is in three days. They did not tell me that the fabric they allegedly received was damaged. I have no dress for this formal wedding! Devastated!

Whatever you do, don't buy from this company. I purchased a dress in August. Unfortunately it arrived too late (later than promised) for me to have it altered in time for the event I purchased it for, so I had to return it. I STILL don't have a refund. Customer Service initially responded to my emails by asking for more time and now they aren't taking or returning my call or responding to my emails.
Let this be no mistake. The quality that comes from this website is unlike any I've ever had with online shopping. And for the price? Perfection! My one complaint is the slow response when sending an email to CS. Pre-pandemic, I use to get a response within 24-48 hours. Sometimes I don't get a response at all, and think my order didn't even go through! I've submitted CS requests both via the website and email. Nada.

In the beginning I got beautiful clothes. NOT now. I ordered denim and the material is so thin it's like gauze. No matter what height I say I am the clothes are too long or too short. My last order instead of being shipped FedEx was some sort of UPS and took 2 months to arrive. IM DONE. TIRED OF WASTING MY TIME AND $.
I placed an order in early October 2023 with a "guaranteed" delivery by October 31. It's now November 12 and I have no received even shipping notification. My order has been sittings at completed but not shipped for 3 weeks. I purchased these items for an event on November 17 which had appeared to be safely outside the delivery window. I am completely unimpressed with the lack of communication from Eshakti- notification of the delay and updated delivery expectations should have been sent in October when they failed to meet deadlines.

Answer: I have been ordering the standard sizes and they are true to the measurements posted. No matter what you put in your height, so the length is always spot on.
Answer: Purchase a dress that is made with the knit fabric. It is flexible and much more loose feeling than the other fabrics. If you do decide to add inches to the measurement, I recommend only adding 1-2 inches AND only add those inches where you like it loser. For example, measure your arms true to size unless you like it a bit lose. Measure your waist true to size unless that is where you like it a bit lose. But honestly, I think you will find the knit dresses to be the best if you dislike tight fitting clothing! I also am not a fan and those are the dresses I wear most often! I have bought other styles, so I have other fabrics to compare it to.

Even adding a deisgn I requested to Fabric Customisation. Winning! I have only had to return 1 dress and it was easy and I got a full refund. I am in Sydney, Australia and my orders always arive in 10-14 days without fail. You can track the progress of your order online.
