Just before I purchased Samsung Galaxy S9 from them I
Contact their customer support and asked if that is official UK model
And they said absolutely, but when I purchased and called Samsung later
With the IMEI, Samsung Customer Support told me this is ITALIAN model
And after BREXIT warranty will no longer be useful in the UK. The phone
Is already given as a gift, a terrible situation.
Main area of interest as i buy for schools and companies for my business and many for domestic use also. Good emails worth looking at not the usual rubbish.
Like the title says. Worst online retailer ever. The returns policy and customer service is complete sh*t. Sent backa faulty pc on the 9th. They recieved it on the 13th, lied and said they recieved it on the 14th. All it needed was a graphics card replacement and its now the 17th with no further information. Emailed and called them multiple times only being told to wait longer. Faster to get a full refund then buy a complete new one. $#*!ing jokers. Sort your website and customer service out. Only good thing is the price hence why i used ebuyer. Worst jokemen on the internet.
Be very cautious when dealing with these, especially if you have to return anything. They have a 3-5 day return policy, which isnt worth the paper it is written on. Do not use. Not recommended!
Ordered a PC in November intending it to be a Christmas gift for my son, and I was given several assurances by email through the process that it would be delivered to me in time.
Ultimately the PC didn't arrive, and when queried, Ebuyer told me the system was delayed because one of the peripherals (the keyboard) went out of stock and they chose to hold off until the part was available. When I asked if they could simply replace the unavailable keyboard, they then let slip that they would have to upgrade the unit, because they didn't have stock in any longer of the the graphics card within the PC.
I thought, "fine, I'll be getting more for my money", however they said that they would have to charge me £50 more, but that they were going to discount the system by £30 to compensate, effectively leaving me with an extra £20 to pay. When I pushed to find out exactly what the specifications were for this new and improved system, it turned out that there wasn't any upgrade, just the inclusion of an operating system that I didn't originally want.
To sum up, their way of making up for the delay, the fact that my son has missed out on his Christmas present is to charge me extra for the privilege?!
I have been back and forth with their support and am not a happy with how they have chosen to resolve this matter.
Hello,
I am very sorry to hear about this,
So I can have a look in to this, could you please send the order details to Chelsea@Ebuyer.com and I will be in touch.

Worst company ever. Purchased TPLINK home plugs for a friend. Used an old business account as it was already set up. Friend was away for a few days so couldn't do. Set them up and they were awful. Older units worked better. Not fit for purpose. Phoned ebuyer told I couldn't return as my 10 days was up and no refund because I used business account. I explained it was an accident (using business) and friend was away till recently but they said tough, if I had called a day over then they would have refunded as a gesture of goodwill. I said I'd cancel all my outstanding orders and they did so seemingly enjoying it to prove they didn't give a. I was a customer since 2007 and have spent THOUSANDS on that account. Eventually after I found that the items were not fit for purpose and cut and pasted thier return terms to them, they accepted. Well they took 20% of my money from the refund although these things were not fit for the purpose they were bought for which is about £40! Never again and I'd avoid the best you can. Worst business I've ever had the displeasure to deal with.
Ok, so I ordered an item online using Ebuyer's eBay site, as the item was £20 cheaper through eBay. It seems they don't read messages very often. When I had placed the order, my work address comes up as default and the order was placed for that address. My work is shut down until December and there is no one on site to receive the parcel. A few minutes later I realised what I had done and immediately messaged Ebuyer to cancel the order so I could place the order again with my home address. I even called them and gave them the eBay order number and explained the situation. Needless to say, the shipping department obviously doesn't read their messages and two hours later the order was marked as shipped on my eBay account. In actuality, it's sitting somewhere in their shipping department awaiting pickup because the tracking number has not registered with the carrier yet. Had they just read the email or even listened to the person I spoke to on the phone, this could have been sorted in a few minutes. Now, the parcel will probably be delivered somewhere else and lost as these dodgy delivery companies refuse to return undeliverable parcels to the shipper. I see another PayPal battle ensuing... keep watching as I'll probably add more to this one..
Morning James,
I am so sorry to hear this.
So I can have a look in to this further please could you email the order number to Chelsea@Ebuyer.com and I will be back in touch shortly.

Stay Away and Avoid This COWBOY company! I recently bought a Lenovo laptop from eBuyer £370 (brand new) I purchased this item on 3rd of August (Saturday) I received the item on (Monday) 5th August. The laptop arrived either damaged or faulty, the touchpad wasn't working and wasn't clipped in the 4 corners.
I rang their customer services explained what had happened they said they would investigate, so for me to hold the laptop till further notice. Anyways I sent the laptop back to them using Royal Mail signed for next day by 1pm and the shipping costing me £27 because the value of the item is over £300. They received my 7th of August. I still haven't received my money back because I asked for a refund I didn't want a replacement, this is now a legal process I was following up with my bank and solicitors. They won't reimburse the £27 I paid for them to receive the laptop back. Stay away and boycott this cowboy company!
Hi Chris.

I placed on order on a Thursday, which promised next day delivery - a premium service that I paid for expecting the delivery to arrive on the promised Friday, which was confirmed in an email. On the Friday I received an email claiming the package was shipped, but the tracking did not match this. On inquiring with the currier, I found that they had not shipped the item as they had told me, they had created a label for it. Further, no delivery date was available. I contacted ebuyer, who said that they hadn't processed the payment in time and decided to hold my order for their mistake. They promised to refund the payment for delivery - they did not - and that it would be upgraded to a saturday delivery so that I would receive it the next day - they did not. They did however hand over the item with the label to deliver on Monday - four days later than the delivery I had paid for - three hours after they closed all means of raising the issue with them, leaving it impossible to solve. (see attached image).
Their repeated lies have cost me four days without the hardware I urgently wanted - and paid for rapid delivery on - as well as taking my money happily without resolving anything.
This is a god awful service, and they are entirely unwilling to keep their own promises or even deliver the services paid for.
Hi there,
Sorry to hear this.
I would like to look in to this further for you, so I can do this please can you send over the order number to - Chelsea@Ebuyer.com and I will be back in touch shortly.

Chelsea
Over the years I've bought many items from eBuyer, but I will not be doing business with them again. I bought a Buffalo NAS from them in April 2018. It's advertised on their website as having a two-year guarantee. It failed after nine months, but I was told that they couldn't replace it (even though they are still selling the same model), and all they could offer me was a partial refund. When questioned they claim that they are entitled to do this under UK consumer legislation. They are not. I contacted Buffalo directly, who were most surprised to hear that eBuyer would not honour the guarantee. They asked me to return the item directly to them, but I had already sent it back to eBuyer. I asked eBuyer to return it to me or directly to Buffalo, but they claim they have already disposed of it and cannot do so, and simply wash their hands of the matter. So now I am out of pocket, have no NAS, and the two year guarantee advertised by eBuyer is worthless. These are not the actions of a company that has any commitment to customer service, but judging by other comments here my experience is not an isolated one.
Hi Alan,
I am very sorry to hear your NAS developed a fault and was returned to ourselves.
Depending on the age of the item, in some cases we would only be able to offer a partial refund.
However I would like to review your case, so please can you email me your order/RMA number and I will be back in touch with an update.
My email address is Cheryl@ebuyer.com
Kind Regards,
Cheryl
I have been using Ebuyer for several years and have spent over £10,000 with them. But I will never again buy a thing from them!
I purchased an ex-display motherboard which was faulty. I requested a replacement but was told it was not possible and that I would get a refund. Instead without my knowledge Ebuyer issued me with a credit onto my account.
As I needed a motherboard I purchased a new one and paid in full. Within a week I received 2 identical motherboards. I called to say that I had received 2 identical motherboards and that I only needed one. I was told I could not return either motherboard unless they were faulty. One of the motherboards is still unopened. I explained that I only ordered one. I was then told that one was sent through the credit that was on my account (which I did not even know about) and the difference between the credit and the actual price of a new motherboard was taken from my card without my permission.
I have explained this situation in extent to only get a simple no. They really could not care less.
Please be aware and remove your card details from their site as they used my card without me knowing it. I have contacted my credit card company and they have told me that ebuyer is an online shop and that I gave them all my details to do the purchase. This is simply a lie. I only need one motherboard and not two. I am now out of pocket £320.
I doubt that they will even bother with this complaint but they have lost me and other customers of mine for good.
Great company to buy from. Brilliant prices on the website and the service from the CS team has always been great if I've ever had any queries. Would definitely recommend!
We have returned a faulty computer which is less than six months old under the Consumer Rights act 2015 (section23) its now been ten weeks and we have had no contact from Ebuyer UK
I have today call them and spoken to Jade the rudest person in customer service ever, there is clearly a policy of making sure they do not refund, replace, of deal in any way with faulty goods
AVOID these people at all costs - never have i come across such unprofessional service and why AMAZOM allow them to trade is beyond me
Next stop Trading Standards
Hi Dave,
I am very sorry to hear of the trouble you have experienced with your return.
Please can you email me your RMA number and I will review this for you.

I ordered parts for a new build I needed them fast and got them fast... All well and good so far.
Put it all together... got it up and running. But I kept getting an issue where it kept freezing randomly. Tried a few things to resolve including wiping reinstalling checking connections etc...
Nothing worked I explained this to ebuyer they said before return they wanted pics of the item... OK not exactly normal but ok...
Took them... told to take different pics with different angles... took them as well. Finally the return is accepted... the items leave and then.,... nothing...
Nothing for weeks after.
Then I get an email saying they are missing a bracket and screw.
I ask what are you on about? I've sent you back three items and your not even specifying what item is missing these non descriptive items?
So I ask and explain maybe as you've had the parts for a while now maybe you lost them.
To add insult to injury I receive a package returned from ebuyer. No idea what is in it. No notice no information... just a package... Of course I am not willing to receive such a package. I send it back.
Now over a month after returning ebuyer refuse to take the dud parts. Much like many other reviews here it seems they dont want to take back the broken parts they send out. Understandable but still not acceptable.
Hi Thomas,
I'm really sorry for the trouble that this has caused you.
Please can you email me directly with your order/RMA number so I can take a closer look?

Wish I read this before I bought anything from them ordered a laptop wen it was delivered it was the wrong thing tried to return it and told u only have 14 days to return even though it was a Xmas present. Had ordered 2 so cancelled the other one to be told it's already on van they still hasn't taken the money so was told to refuse delivery 2 days after it came o refused. He then came back the next day with it I said I've been told to refuse it. Delivery man said what am i supposed to do with it. My husband said return it to sender son 5 days after cancelled order and refusal twice they still took money out. Cheeky rude customer service STAY CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY i vet they aren't as quick to refund as they are to take it

Only opened the box to add the returns slip, if you open the box you have bought it... shocking. Tried calling but no response its all online, they simply advise you and close the case.
Hi Lee,
I am sorry to hear that you are unhappy with our returns policy.
Dependant on how you have placed your order and whether you wish to return the item as not required, our terms and conditions do confirm that we are unable to accept an opened item I am afraid.
I would like to review your return and see if I can resolve this for you.
Please can you email me your order number and I will see if there is anything more I can do.
My email address is kat@ebuyer.com.
Kind Regards,
Kat
Bought my new laptop here and was pretty good after a fiasco with the lenovo website - good service, free delivery and good warranty. Overall pleased and would recommend.
Ebuyer have always been spot on when it comes to all of my tech purchases. Great customer service always provided, delivery always on time. Would always recommend.
SHOCKING EXPERIENCE * AVOID
I ordered 2 x pc, 2 x monitors, 2 x keyboards (value £1622. 20) & paid for NEXT DAY delivery. 3 days later (despite being told every day that the items had been shipped and were being delivered by the courier that day) they decided to be told one of the pcs was actually out of stock! No mention of the other machines or monitors until i had to wait on hold for a further hour to be told a categorical lie 'delivery was attempted & un-succesful at 12:30' We have commercial premises, that are occupied Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm, not to mention the fact that 2 new members of staff have been twidling their thumbs waiting for their computers to arrive! I therefore ask for a refund which they refuse to process until the items are back with them! Needless to say I will never be ordering from these cowboys ever again and i suggest for your own peace of mind you dont either!
Hi Michael,
I am very sorry to hear of the problems you have experienced regarding your delivery.
I will review this and be in touch to discuss this further shortly.
Kind Regards,
Kat
I ordered 32gb Corsair ram and chose free delivery on a Monday. The following day I got an email saying they took my money and were going to arrange shipping and the product will arrive at the latest in 5 working days. The following Wednesday aka the 6th working day my product did not arrive. I received no email or contact by phone that the product would not arrive. I called and they said my product was discontinued and out of stock and they would not compensate me or give me a better product at the same price. Never, ever, ever, ever order from this dump of a company. They take your money and do not care to deliver a service. You have more luck getting something from a Nigerian prince then your product from Ebuyer. They are the Mickey Mouse of Disney land. Never feel like I did waiting like a fool for a product that was never coming, they are just laughing at you since they have your money. I will tell everyone I meet and all my friends and co workers and family to avoid Ebuyer like the plague. Hucksters
Hi Amrit,
Please can you email me with your order number so I can get this looked into?
