I ordered from this app twice last week. My first issue was, they had a restaurant that wasn't even connected to this site. The driver and the restaurant tried to call me but this app didn't let them reach out to me. I had to call the restaurant to fix the problem. I had to contact the help desk twice to fix this problem. Couple days later I ordered food from another state for my aunt. The restaurant got her order wrong. I called the restaurant they were closed early because of the holiday. When I contact the help desk, they sucked. They gave me a refund that wasn't even near the amount I spent. I sent my receipt to them and didn't want to give me full refund. They still owe me money. This company sucks
Wish I could give less than 1 star. Received my pizza and it looked like it was eaten and all the toppings were stuck to the pizza box. This was the drivers fault as the pizza was mashed around all over each other. Plus, it was cold and looked like it was dropped on the ground. I called customer service and they said they would not give me a refund for my order. I asked to speak to a manager and they refused. Why am I paying for something that I cannot eat...DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM PLEASE. They will take your money and try to give themselves a tip at checkout that you never click, but will add themselves.
Deleted my doordash app and deactivated my dashpass. NEVER using this app again. All I have had was trouble with either the drivers or food. I'm done using this app. Gave it many chances after each mistake but now I'm just over it and done. I'm tired of receiving the wrong food and then fighting for credit.
I order from DoorDash at least twice a week, usually from work for lunch and dinner at home. The service is great. The drivers are usually on-time and if there is a problem with the order they contact me.
Handing out fake promo cards in order for you to message and they have you order and give you a "refund" which is actually a credit to your account. The promo does'nt even work. Just a scam in order to get you to spend money.
So innapropriate.
Usually there is a wait but I can deal with that. Today, I tracked my delivery and when it looked like the little car was just about at my office I went to look for my lunch. It never arrived. I didn't even receive a text or call.
When I looked for a way to complain there was an order didn't arrive section and it offered a refund and a message popped up the driver couldn't wait for you - What wait? I'm done with Doordash
Door dash is horrible! I am using grubhub and doordash, and I can tell you the difference. Today, I ordered my dinner from doordash, and then I have received a photo and notification that my dinner has arrived. But the photo indicated it's wrong address, and I have never received my dinner. I contacted them immediatly, they refused to refund, and they said they'll contact me within 24 hours. Didn't they check their photo was in wrong address? And their support ended the conversation twice on me, just because they didn't want to refund. Grubhub will refund you immediatly, and they truly care about the customer.
Not to mention their price is higher than grubhub, don't waste your money and raise such a horrible company in US.
The driver was nice and that's where the compliments end. The delivery took over an hour and a half. The food was cold and the order was wrong. By the time the food was delivered it was too late to order from anywhere else. I made a complaint online and they offered me 15 bucks which was not even a third of the cost of the order. I deleted the app and will not be using DoorDash again. They can keep their $15.
Ordered with estimated time 45-55 minutes. Saw the driver was there waiting for food... and waiting and waiting... Texted him and he said the order hadnt gone through to the restaurant so they had to call and had just started the order... about 30 minutes in. Driver was great. I tried to cancel - the app wouldn't let me. I went to customer service and was number 300 in line! Took 20 minutes to get to chat with a person. They are terrible. But claim they're always trying to improve their service. Disaster! Don't use them! Felt sorry for the driver who was very nice. Awful service!
I will never order from doordash again I ordered today for the first and last time the driver was rude and ignorant she took my order to the wrong house and refused to go back and get it she said there was nothing she could do and hung up she needs to be fired I am posting the number she called from so everyone will know she is rude and uneducated *******7214 please dont make the same mistake I did
My door dash driver delivered my food without notifying me that it was delivered. He left my food in front of my house while I was home, he didn't ring the doorbell or message me that he arrived. I had to message him 30 minutes later just for him to say he already delivered it to me. The drivers name is Kieran B.
I ordered food from door dash and the dasher came at the wrong time according to the tracker and she didn't ring the doorbell or call me and didn't leave my food and door dash denied my refund or didn't give me credit never again they robbed me out of my money
I ordered food and and got the worst service. The next day I woke up to a negative bank balance because I was charged for a few Doorpasses! The money was returned to my account but I also received 2 overdraft fees due to their greediness! I complained since I was unable to use my back account for 1 week. I don't understand if you have access to my account and this was Doordash's error, I should be reimbursed to the card I have on file. I will never use this service again. I would rather starve to death and since they steal your money, you might starve anyway. I'm not going to post any pictures because that will be my banking information.
It is completely ridiculous that my $33 meal turned into a $53 charge. Without my authorization, you charged me a 20% tip which was $6 not to mention a $6 delivery fee AND a $6 service fee? The driver is tipped from the delivery fee and the service fee has to do with you and the restaurant. I am requesting the service fee be refunded. If not, I guarantee I woll never use DoorDash again and I will make sure everyone else never uses DoorDash either.
Me and my kids have saturday morning routine to have breakfast and watch pokemon. This particular morning we decided to get donuts from dunkin and coffee for me we waited an hour and a half only for them to cancel my order. I then went down to dunkin myself and they still had donuts and the coffee i wanted so dunkin wasn't out doordash was just lazy and unprofessional
Place an order at about 7pm tonight. Said the order was going to 36-46 minutes. Come to find out "there was no dasher in our area" what?! We waited over an hour to contact customer support and the guy was the least bit helpful.
Quality of the service, mainly the app to the merchant not sending orders correctly. There's clearly a bug in their app. The last several orders have been either completely wrong, or incomplete. The only resolution that they offer is a resolution of a refund, which doesn't cover all the tip, nor delivery fee.
No matter what, they manage to get a few dollars from you every time, whether your order is correct or not.
I've spoken with ALL the merchants on ALL of my incorrect orders, and it is CLEARLY the DoorDash app that is the problem. The merchants didn't even receive the proper order to deliver. So, DoorDash's review of those merchants are completely unfair because the merchants aren't receiving the proper order from app.

Been using Uber Eats for a year but it's down for today, so I decided to try Doordash, which turns out to be a f**king joke. Been waiting for 2 hours and still no food, excuse me? Switched to SKIP and BOOM, it's here in 20 min. F**K this joke of an app
I placed an order. My card was charged and then it said there's no drivers in your area. It took an act of god to get the money refunded back to my card. I still don't have the money because it takes 3 days to get it back. The customer service rep just disconnected the conversation before it was resolved and then I had to go through the whole situation again with another rep who acted like they didn't know what I was talking about. But I still don't have the refund. I wouldn't be surprised if I have to contact them again just trying to get my money back. Never again shall I use DoorDash.
Door dash laid our pizza on the ground at our next door neighbors house. I saw that they were driving down the street and called. They came back and picked the pizza up off of the ground and brought it to us during COVID 19. What the crap. They said they would refund our money but never did.

Answer: First, DoorDash collects a tip BEFORE you get service. I always tip, so should you. Ubereats lets you tip AFTER you get service - better. Caveat - getting your tip back from DoorDash for bad service is almost impossible.
