I was scheduled for an interview on 7/28/2022 at 10am in Phoenix Az on 19th ave and Southern. I showed up at 9:45am. Walked into the place of business at 9:55am and asked for the manager. Two associates told me she (Ana) was not there. I waited and Ana never showed up. I left and still no phone call or text. Im very upset with the unprofessionalism I experienced at this location. I went to the Garrison ND store and bought a Diet coke and coke 2 for $12
It was not mark that buy 2 get one free but it was in the weekly ad. I went to the store with my receipt and I was told I had to go get the pop and bring it back to the store, instead of taking it from the stock and ring it through with the manager they approval they want you to be inconvenienced and not do good customer service. Another negative thing about this store is that you can't even shop the isles but to the stock is on carts throughout the store. I have decided not to continue to stop there and drive else where to have better customer care and will stand behind there store ad.

I LOVE the people that work there. I am in that store almost twice a day.
The problem is... I see the same people the entire shift. And even though they are working them long $#*! hours, they still maintain their professionalism. They almost feel like family.
It's sad to say with people not wanting to work and they are there every day, ALL DAY; THEY ARE SO UNDER PAID.
Customer service is one of the hardest jobs there is. They deal with all types of people with different walks of life. Not to mention the danger they put themselves in every day.

This company consistently over charges. What the price shelf says is more often than not, less than the register scans. Most people are in too big of a hurry to notice they being over charged, so they get away with it. If they over charge every customer. 50-$2, every day, they are STEALING hundreds of dollars@ each location every day & making millions of pure profit through deceit.
This store is the BEST! Awesome customer service. Always going out of their way to make sure you find your items. Always a hello and welcome and enjoy the rest of your day. If an item is not available they will place the order and if it is not available you are informed. This is a friendly and cordial place to shop! This used to be a good clean store, one that people from neighboring town talked about in a good way. Now you can't even walk down the main isle without bumping into stock that's not being put on shelves. Customers have even been seen opening cardboard boxes in the freezer to get what they needed (cause it's not unpacked). Needs NEW MANAGER
My husband and I went into the Winnebago store and the alarm on the door was so obnoxious and loud. We were trying to talk and decide which items to buy and we just gave up and left with a headache. It took one minute to realize we were not coming back and went next door. This was not a good first time experience in your store.
It stinks, the floors are nasty, open and unopened items are laying on the floor and everything is in disarray. I am surprised the health department hasn't closed it. Ceiling tiles are down from leaks and there is a moldy smell. I have never seen a place of business in such bad condition. I would like to go again but not until there is some improvement. I have always liked Dollar General and I hope they go back to keeping their store in tip top shape. This is the only time I have written a review as I was so surprised by it's condition.
Staff and shopping is good. But the overall customer service sucks. I will not shop with them anymore bc I had to return a couple things that were too small for my son. I was told they could no give me store credit or cash back bc I used my cash app card( which is a prepaid debit card). It's been 3 days and still no money has been refunded. When you are a single parent on a fixed income, you kinda need that money. I was told to contact DG. Only way is calling or email. Was on hold for over an hour and then hung up on. So I emailed, no response and that was 12 hours ago during business hours.
Dollar general is a joke when it comes to the resepct for their employees. They degrade them and treat them badly in front of customers etc. They have no resepct for them so makes sense why Noone ever wants to stay working there. There local managers are worthless and never do their job. It sit around and gossip about everything. The drama that comes from these places are ridiculous. Of course, this is in my community in Iowa!
Just went to the store on Pueblo Blvd. As I was walking up to the register there were 2 dogs without collars or leashes, blocking the register. When I asked the cashier if she could help me over away from the dogs because I was extremely afraid, she said no and then went on to help someone who would have been in line behind me if not for the dogs. I asked if she could at least have them put on leashes and she just ignored me. Therefore I left without purchasing anything and won't go back. I later saw the homeless looking man walking with the two dogs down the alley.
This dog situation is out of control. It's bad enough that somehow dog owners have brain washed businesses into believing that dogs are people and belong inside every establishment. Now they don't believe that they should be forced to keep their dogs under control with leashes.
If your target shopper isn't homeless people who are just in the store for the AC and a pack of cigarettes, you might want to think about addressing your policy about pets. You also might want to retrain your rude cashier about how to handle this type of situation. She could easily have rung my purchase up at her register while I stood back away from the dogs like I suggested. It would have been slightly inconvenient for her by about 6 steps.
Youngsville just remodeled but the floors are still filthy as they always are. I have never been to another retail business that cares less about thier floors appearance...
So I went to the store and I saw the manager kissing for boyfriend as she was working then the cashier was talking about me to the manager saying some nasty stuff I didn't know that you could kiss your boyfriend as you worked and I didn't know you could talk about a customer

My account is messed up and I tried and tried to fix it so I could use it now that DollarTree got so expensive. Due to digital BS I didn't use it after I got it, I HATE digital. Now I cannot fix it, they won't send me a new password and I tried several times, won't let me make a new account since my phone number is the same but yet they CANNOT send me a SMS to my phone. Go figure, I will continue to NOT shop there.

I am a partially handicapped 73 yr old male who worked my career in both wholesale club and hotel management. I shop at the store on Colman St in New London Ct. And was impressed by the pricing but especially by the helpfulness and courtesy of the entire staff. This customer service has won my loyalty, and I always refer other seniors to the store. I normally do not fill out surveys but I am really impressed! The manager Crystal deserves recognition--she won my loyalty!
The shelves at The Dollar General on Lynwood Drive, Lancaster, SC ******* are almost completely empty. This is not because they do not have merchandise available to fill the shelves. There are so many boxes piled ceiling high you can not even walk through the store. Due to the fact that gas is so high and this is a rural area, this has put many customers at a tremendous inconvenience. I'm sure there are many cooperate managers available to assist with this store. Help out your fellow citizens and take the items out of the boxes and put them on the shelves. PLEASE!
