Most of it comes down to the iron fisted payroll. Like 40 asm hours for 2 full time employees. How do you give your asm 20 hours and call that ft!

Dollar General doesn't hire enough help. You shouldn't have to take care of the Register, then run to stock a shelve, when nobody is in the store.

I use to find most of the employees were friendly, the store was always a little cluttered, and sometimes long lines to be checked out, but I usually went there once a week, but I will not be going to the Carterville, Illinois store again, unless the management has much more training in customer service. She definitely didn't treat this customer with respect.
