Utter trash of a company. I have to work with DHL daily, and every single day they do not fail to disappoint. They lose your packages, have you connect with eejits in Arizona that just give you a runaround then hang up on you never resolving any issues. When you call, they ask you to stay on the line to give a review only to keep you on hold for a while before hanging up, probably because they know that you will leave a terrible review.
Overall, just a garbage company clearly ran by idiots who hire fellow morons.

I shipped my items and clothes from Egypt to Canada. First, the bags were delayed 33 days from the date that was agreed upon. Second, the bags were searched so poorly that the clothes arrived very dirty. Third, and most importantly, they stole a lot of things from my bags. Many clothes and personal items. Unfortunately, you are a company that doesn't have any credibility in dealing with it and there is no insurance on the shipment. I spoke to customer service in Egypt, they didn't give me any solution, and in Canada as well. Can you tell me how do I get my stolen items back or at least do an investigation on how they disappeared, or at least offer some kind of compensation as a last resort... I'm missing stuff estimated at around $ 560!
I will never repeat dealing with DHL again. I do not advise anyone to deal with them, and I will publish this review everywhere on Social Meda so that those customers dealing with you will be careful

I paid a huge amount of money to have my parcel sent from Korea to Canada in Express, the parcel left on Nov 6th 2022, on the tracking it says that is cleared in Vancouver BC but not expectation date of delivery, no info on their website... 10 days now and they call it "Express"... i received a sms or scam telling me i own them more than 200$ in taxes while i paid them when i paid the shipping and shouldn't have anything to pay to "them"...
I had 2 identical parcels sent with UPS door to door and everything was so smooth and easy...
DHL Express (or not) is a piece of sh**! They cost a lot of money and don't care about their clients!
They are bad at their job and shouldn't even be a company!
Having had a number of experiences in purchasing items abroad with DHL shipping, my experience is that their tracking is absolutely useless. When information is provided, which is far too infrequently, the information provided is nearly impossible to interpret. I don't know if it is a language problem, but it provides language that is either non-sense, or totally misleading. This includes frequent bouts of shipments being put on "hold", which may mean that the items is just sitting somewhere waiting for the next leg, but this kind of language is not helpful. The information seems to focus on providing information about when the package is not moving, and virtually no information on when it is, or is expected to do so. Virtually any other shipment tracking system is better than DHLs.
Why is this company still in business? My package has been late for three days plus I call there company to locate my package they did and promise that it would be delivered the next day. Still no package. Why are local business still letting DHL handling there delivery services. Please someone needs to get this company in checked… plus I still never received my package. Angry customer
Seriously do not use this company. I picked dhl because it was "express" shipping and i figured it would be a better shipping service but to no avail they lost my package as soon as they picked it up! 2 weeks with no updates on it and i called them and they told me there is nothing they can do for me… and i paid for goods and they lost them! On that note my shipment is still lost. The customer service department is just disgusting too. Canada post all day over this trash
Before I sent my shipment I asked your employee in the office, "How long will it take for the shipment to reach the recipient?" Your employee replied that it was an express delivery that would take 1 day. I am very disappointed that my shipment was not delivered in the specified time. It has been 22 days. I am still waiting for my shipment to reach its final destination. Customer service that can't really help and doesn't even answer questions. I will never use your company and will never recommend you to anyone.
Very disappointed with DHL. The item should be delivered on my doorstep since I paid for it. Waited for almost two months. They made up a status that the recipient is not at home and there is a delivery attempt. Unfortunately to them that I am always at home since the lockdown and been working here since. So i know it's a scam. No one called or notified me, no one came. So it's really a thumbs down. Now i contacted the postal service handling my parcel and i have to pay for another fee for the second delivery. Really bad experience
They delivered my box in the wrong location! This is an Int'l shipment from my family.I called customer service Frank and said they'll email after 2hrs but NONE! I emailed them but only apoligizes but still NO RESOLVE on my issue! Where is my box?! We trusted you! Very disappointing service!
I bought 40$ in t-shirts, and they charged me $17 is processing in handling fees on top of the original charge to ship the item to me. I actually buy a lot of stuff from Australia and never get charged any taxes yet alone extra charges for shipping the item. This is a rip off, they are a cheat company and I would never use them.
Very bad service the delivery service sucks big time there never tell customers that there have to pay duty until they attempt to deliver twice saying no body home we all home just waiting. Now I have to go and pay duty on my package to get it
The delivery driver delivered my 250 dollar package to the wrong address. The address had the same number and a similar road name, but the actual road, apartment number, city, and zip code were all different. Extremely negligent service. I had to go get my package myself.
I waited for Japanese sweets for a month and a half, then they made me describe every single candy, but they didn't like it and asked me to describe the entire composition of each candy individually. But not in the way what chocolate and filling are, but all the components (what the chocolate is made of, when the nuts were gathered, etc.). And in addition to the fact that I had to specify the price of the whole product, I was forced to specify the price of each individual candy. Then I asked them themselves to do the revision, and then I received an answer that they would do it for HALF of the cost of whole package.
I wanted to spit in the face to who now runs the company. In general, thanks DHL for 2 months of senseless waiting and wasted nerves
The guy just gave my package to a random kid on the street and put it as delivered on the system! This people are a joke. Then when u claim they just ignore you as much as they just come up with the same apologies without taking any responsibility! If you really appreciate an average to good service DONT USE DHL!
My bag has been stuck with them for over a month. No one can give me any explanations. I've gone personally to the office, they still couldn't tell me anything. They gave me all the wrong paperwork to apply for an exemption. And they were so rude on the phone. Useless.
They switched the address and tried to tell me that my zip code to my address didn't match and it was to Williamsburg, Virginia. I live in a whole different state 556 miles from there and ive lived here my whole life i know my address and zip code. Then when i called about it they said there was nothing they can do to call usps then gave me the wrong number. I will never recommend dhl or use it again. Zero rating for me..
DHL attempted to deliver my package, but it took 2 tries to be successful. First time, they said I wasn't home, but I was. I did note that they left a note on my front door so they did actually try, but for some reason I must not have heard the door bell. I rescheduled the delivery and changed it to contact-less delivery and they delivered it 2 business days later.
I advise that you choose contact-less delivery unless it is a high value item because you might not get your item delivered, even if you are at home.
All that said, the initial delivery attempt was on time.
Pkg never delivered. Called again, many times. Told st name not on pkg.
I said "Yeah I know, I've already talked to two people already that said they added and should be fixed." She said I'll fix and delivery TOMORROW!
I said forget about it, I'll pick it up.

They are very slow and bureaucracy customer service, I ordered some thing from Japan, had some problem with customs. I have to email them, no body answers, I called them, they said they will call me back few business hours, never had call back. I have to spend so many hours to try to contact with them, then they have to transfer me to another department. After few days, I have to it process again. BUT, They are pretend be nice but do not do anything. When I actually ask them to hold me package and wait for the shipper to send the information to the customs, the customer lady become so inpatient and just being like "nice". After one month of this process, we order has been returning to Japan.
I have never managed to receive any parcel sent with DHL. They are either using wrong address, or they can't find address, or they are severely delayed... I wonder why any companies are using it. Next time I order something delivered with DHL I will cancel it beforehand. Today I had to commute to a different town to collect my parcel (I had to call myself many offices and find out where this was) and importantly this was received 2.5 weeks after the expected day... Just never use it.

Answer: Difficult. Automated system. Rip off phone charges. Cost so far to track our parcel, possibly missing has been around £25 in phone charges. Still trying. They wont phone you back and yet it is their error.
