Mark, a salesman in Milton Keynes, wanted to sell the product so much that he lied about the sizing. My partner and I saw corneas in the store. We ordered corneas with Spaniards only because the seller said they were both the same size. When the product was delivered and unpacked, I saw that the product was different from what I was told to buy. The cornea was supposed to be L-shaped, but it's not. In the store, the manager says that customers lie because Mark has not admitted to the mistake. I'd be happy to elaborate on the subject in an email if I may.

Absolutely joke

Absolute joke, I ordered 3 months ago and had my delivery date go by without any contact from them or a reason why. I'm told I should contact the courrier which said they haven't received any order from dfs. I then contact dfs and it turns out that can't even tell my if the supplier has built the order or not. Filled with bs and liars who turn the blame onto someone else and keep transferring me from one place to anothe

Terrible service
December 20, 2022

Absolutely terrible service. An hour to get through to their customer service only to be told I would get a call back each time. 3rd time was on hold for 40 minutes and the guy hung up on me. Bought a sofa on the basis it germts delivered for Christmas. I've had no update and can't speak to them. Their service is terrible and now on a mission to cancel my sofa all together.

The soffa we just ordered was such good quality stylish and unbelievable value for money. We needed it quickly as we had purchased a Sofa from Made.com that we were really disapointed with. However Dfs were able to identify a sofa available for immediate delivery.

Thanks Dfs much appreciated may be you can advise Made.com how to look after their customers

Mattress is called Boxit Memory 3000 so I ask the salesman if it contained memory foam as I don't want
Memory foam and he assures me that it doesn't.
But when I unbox it at home the label on the mattress(which wasn't i visible in store)
Clearly days memory foam.i immediately ring customer services and email but they have just
Consistently denied being at fault and won't take the mattress back and refund me.
They've even written down a phone call they made to me which is a conversation I have never had with any one

DFS deliver the goods!

I've used DFS twice to buy furniture and have found the company to be easy and stress free to deal with. From the intial phone purchase through to the delivery guys the staff are polite and friendly. The sofas I've bought have been good quality and carefully delivered. Plus the company offers the chance to pay for your furniture interest free for up to 4 yrs if you need to... that's great service. I'd have no hesitation in using them again.

Paying for a sofa
August 7, 2023

Not amused in the slightest, placed an order and wanted to pay it in full to be made to pay the deposit then what we could from there on, then yesterday find out the order has been cancelled so got onto them this morning and the doll said if I want to reorder I've to pay the full £998 not being rude but I'll keep my business elsewhere from now on

Second suite in a row that has been faulty on delivery. Poor quality product for a premium price. All products are (D)irect (F)rom (S)hanghia. Padding sags in days and ours the electrical recliners have never worked. The manager is clearly hiding behind one of their settees has he hasn't had the decency to respond to me. Save your money shop elsewhere.

AVOID AVOID AVOID! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!
Absolutely awful! Ordered 2 sofas online cost over £4700. Within 4 months the recliner failed, told it was a motor. Had to wait over 10 weeks for the part and have it replaced.
At the time told DFS advisor not happy with the sofas, she first of all had the audacity to try give me the third degree about the sofas and then said a store manager will call within 72 hours! 72 days later, STILL NO CALL!
Less than 2 months later, the same recliner making a noise and dipped.
RAISED a section 75 and low and behold they've called me! Only to say they gonna do sweet FA, but we'll send a service manager out!
Like leaches when you go instore, but they don't want to know when things go wrong!
Paying for a BESPOKE sofa that has failed within 4 months and uncomfy like hell! All they do is shove the 2 yr manufacturing warranty down your throat!
AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
IF YOU CONSIDER BUYING FROM DFS, YOU MIGHT AS WELL THROW YOUR MONEY DOWN A DRAIN!

Awful Service
November 17, 2020

Ordered our sofas 25 July, promised by the salesman 12-13 weeks but could be sooner.
13 weeks passed 24 October, the tracker has been useless, each time we have contacted customer service a new excuse has been made, from lack of foam (after we had been assured it was on the boat) to "not being able to dock".
Delivery was promised for Friday 20 November, I booked a day off on annual leave, today I received a call to tell me the delivery had been "rescheduled" to the 25th.
We have no faith they will arrive at that point and no faith in DFS at all, the empty promises from the salesman, the unprofessional attitude of customer service.
To rub salt into the wound we received an email from Harry Unis, head of customer service, saying that lockdown would not affect the estimated delivery time, our delivery was already overdue.
I would never recommend this shambles of a company when the head of 'customer service' spouts inane drivel.
Absolutely terrible, shame I can't give zero stars.

15wks since I ordered.
DFS just cancelled my delivery date for the 4th time!
Customer Service SHOCKING!
No new delivery date because they don't actually know!
Apparently all dates are 'estimates' though!
But hey, only 6wks late and still nothing but lies after lies!
Don't be fooled by the showroom blurb, once they have your order they DO NOT CARE about their customers.

Never again.

5months waiting for furniture was given a date and removed my old suite so was sat on the floor for 6 weeks.Now I have been waiting for a repair since the beginning of September.I have found out the leather suite came from China and they have to send to China for the leather to repair it.My whole experience with this firm has been beyond a joke.would not recommend them to anyone.well now it's january and still waiting.grrrr.

It has been 11 months and 11 days since I placed our order M1ZWB1TGY but STILL no bed and sleeping on the floor nearly a year later. The original head board that has been clogging our bedroom which you couldn't be bothered to collect at my convenience for so long has pulled the new carpet away from the wall and we have lost all hope in ever getting our bed to sleep on. No one speaks to us and we have lost faith. DFS, do you think is is exceptable for us to be living like this? Do you think it is exceptable for a company to treat someone like this? Sad times. Please do us the courtesy and DON'T leave is your generic answer to this review. It is getting very annoying. Why is leaving zero stars not possible?

If I could have given a zero rating for this appalling company I would.

After 2 years 2 months and £4000, I am still having to fight to get redress on my substandard furniture.

First delivery arrived damaged and had to be replaced. Large 4 seater settee creaked from day one, told this was due to it "settling in". Now having finally had it taken apart, it transpires that the frame has come away from the springs and the centre part of the frame is split. Outcome; we will take it apart in your lounge and screw a length of wood across it to secure it back together. Really!

DFS are surprised that I am not happy about this, why would you not accept this, it's perfectly reasonable as the furniture is past its 2 year guarantee.

Yes, because for the past 2 years you've totally ignored my complaints.

My seat cushions flattened after 6 months, despite that the NASA all singing, all dancing cold pressed foam doesn't require plumping, just turning as they never flatten; That's how they sell it to you. But when they do flatten and they can't be plumped, it's "wear and tear".

Dreadful quality, appalling customer service and overpriced substandard furniture.

DO NOT USE DFS
September 27, 2023

DFS did not deliver on time, 18 months later still no easi glides or leather kits that I paid for. They accept no responsibility and do not tell the truth.
Took out finance thru novuna personal finance via DFS they would not help and took DFS side although I paid £3000 for sofa and the other items. Crooks and liars

We purchased a sofa bed a few months ago over the internet and due to COVID we could not have any visitors stay over so the sofa bed was not used until about a month ago.
When we tried out the sofa bed for the first time we found the sofa bed not to be fit for purpose as it is so uncomfortable and due to this we had to go out and purchase a blow-up bed for the weekend.
DFS have sent an upholsterer out to have a look at the sofa bed and he advised as the sofa bed is not damaged there is nothing he can do but he did admit that most sofa bed's are not fit for purpose due to the structure of them and that you should really be able to trial them in your home for a few months.
I have contacted DFS and spoke to Paul the manager of the Carcroft branch since the visit and he has advised that the purchase is out of the 28 day's period so there is nothing he can do or will do.
Please can you advise where i stand legally with this matter?

Terrible aftercare
Didn't want to give any stars. When I bought my buck leather I expected 2 care kits to come as was told I would get one with my 3 piece suite and I paid additional for another. They never came and it took over 5 months to get one kit after numerous calls and emails. It was leaking and damaged. I phoned again only to be told they would send 2 undamaged kits out. NEVER got these. Anyway after 2 more months we came to use the 1 damaged 1 only to find it was for a FABRIC 3 PC suite and not Buck Leather which stains easily if use wrong thing on it. Rang again today only to be told nonchalantly and without customer care that I will only get 1 and I had to send proof of the wrong kit which they they clearly didn't believe me. I have never ever experienced such bad aftercare as this. They dont listen even when you are clearly upset as exhausted and fed up.with having to contact them a lot over 7 months time. Some of the staff at the beginning were quite nice but nothing was done. NEVER Again which is a shame as their furniture I like. I will also tell my friends and family about this awful experience which could have been so easily resolved!

I ordered on line, waited 8 weeks and when the sofa arrived it was not as described, absolutely rock hard and really awful, multiple phone calls later I was charged £150 to send it back, it was only in my house for 3 days! Unethical company, rude and patronising staff and the worst customer service I have ever had.BE WARNED DO NOT USE THEM

Delivered short on cables for my 2 seater sofa, DFS store manager at Ruislip sorted it out, sourced from somewhere else ahead of the 10weeks estimate and got them hand delivered by a Service Manager, great service.

Absolutely awful service and a complete waste of time. We have had to cancel our order and go else where. We ordered our sofa on the 1st October and was guaranteed it would be with us in 6 weeks. 15 weeks later still no sofa and they could not even give us an update. We had multiple delivery dates moved, being told our order was complete and then not complete due to a foam insert and then more back and forth of it being complete and not compete. On the 15th week we were informed that half of the sofa seems to be lost, we were told we would have an update in 24 hours and they could prioritise and build/ deliver the sofa within a week. How I do not know? They failed to update me and I had to ring twice. Finally got a phone call back 2 days later with no update so we cancelled our order. I'm 8 months pregnant still sitting on a deck chair, I have wasted a days annual leave for one of the delivery dates that didn't happen, we had to cancel Christmas plans with family. We have been completely let down and looking at reviews on other places there are a lot of others in the same situation. I would not recommend or believe what they advertise
