Honestly don't bother! Once your items are delivered no one cares if they are broken and every time you phone you wait for at least half an hour only to be promised a call back that never happens! If you order anything other than sofas, this is outsourced to another supplier that doesn't even answer the phone to customers or DFS. The products are poorly made and not worth the money!
Dfs are liars and forge documents please choose your purchase very carefully you will get zero help and lies i don't have a clue how they trade please be warned if you have an issue they have put us through hell

I bought the Kent sofa. There's been a revolting smell since it arrived 6 months ago. Iv complained and they are replacing it and the service was excellent in the Gateshead store at the metro centre. They did not agree with me about the smell but nevertheless agreed so change it and were very professional so I'm happy with that. You can't keep the windows and doors open all day.
I was happy with my experience in buying a corner sofa and armchair at DFS Norwich. However when it was delivered a part of the sofa was torn. I then spent over a week chasing the store. I was asked to accept the damaged part of the sofa, then I was asked to accept it with some compensation but the assistant would not say how much compensation. Eventually they collected the good part of the sofa to have the whole lot sent back to the factory and now it has been sent back but the store can't tell me when the delivery will be!
After waiting few months I have got my "sofa bed". Wow, what a experience. Cushions very low quality- after few days they look like few years old. Mattress- I would not offer any family member to sleep on it for one night, nothing inside, extremely uncomfortable. Milton Keynes DFS costumer service- hmmmm, I have called back minutes after miss call from them and there's no one to answer... Really, save yourself money and stress and go elsewhere- you will get good quality. I wouldn't take my sofa for free. Im done with DFS and I'm advising to everyone to stay away from it.
Buying experience was ok but sales guy was smarmy, trying to pressure sell insurance, eventually told him he was losing the sale so he back off. Was promised delivery in April and would be notified a few weeks beforehand. Received a text early March to confirm solfas were being delivered in about a week (we were out of the country), could not get a hold of anyone. Had to get rid of current sofas after confirming date again. Received a couple of text updates confirming including they would call an hour before. App showed delivery was still on track, the time came and went, called call centre, guy spoke with warehouse and advised he was told if it was on vehicle it would be delivered. It wasn't, received a call to say they had run out of time and I would hear in a few days! Luckily the store is not too far, drove done and spoke to manager, he was apologetic and said they have "horrendous issues" with sub contracted drivers, assured me I would get a call the next day and hopefully delivery that day, agreed to refund the £100 delivery fee. Sure enough at 6.55m I had a missed call, rang back but it goes through call centre and this was closed! Eventually got someone after 8, delivery confirmed and I was again told they would call 1 hr before turning up, just after 9 they arrived (no phone call), again a sub contract team but this guy knew his stuff, advised he was not asked to call me prior to delivery, they are given 20 mins per delivery but he was in the house about 50 minutes putting everything together, hence what they constantly run out of time. Still awaiting refund on delivery fee, ran CC and advised it can take up to 21 days! The sofas are decent bit the whole process is a mess, app does not work, chat facility on web site is an embarrassment and getting through to anyone requires patience. Typical of how companies work nowadays, easy to take your cash, hard to get a hold of to resolve issues with store staff claiming they cannot help and to ring call centre. Email to CEO went unanswered.
Ordered a suite on 24 January was told delivery would be 10 weeks. Then told it would be 3rd of may, then told it would be 16th of may. This is 16 weeks after ordering. Tried to cancel, couldn't cancel because we had to wait for a call from the store. Store didn't call, rang call centre back, they terminated the call because I was recording it. The service is atrocious, staff don't call back. I paid cash for this suite back in January where the salesperson was very nice but, once they had my money, no one wants to speak to me. Please don't believe anything they say because once they have your money, there is no care.
Please stay away from this company.

Now I have asked for my money back.
Friends did warn me not to deal with DFS.

Was meant to be delivered today, didn't hear anything from them so called to be told its not even been made yet, apparently waiting for material from Spain, had 12 weeks to get material already, would have been nice to be called and told there was a delay instead of no communication and no update on the tracker, now telling us to wait another month. Terrible service.
The worst experience I have ever had with any company!
I purchased a sofa from them which I received 12 months ago. Within two day the sofa started showing signs of faults - the leather was stretching on all of the seats and in parts on the body.
I contacted them straight away and they said they would send someone round to have a look, that took months and when the independant inspector came he said the quality was dreadful.
After tens of phone calls, DFS agreed to exchange at which point we decided to go for a different sofa which we ordered in the October so this process took six months!
We received the new sofa three weeks ago and this process also took six months!
Twelve months to replace a faulty sofa and now they won't give me a refund for the faulty one they took away!
After several phone calls with promises that someone will contact us no one has!
I will be reporting them to trading standards and possibly reporting there theft to the police if I don't hear back very soon!
Bought furniture from DFS on credit finance, the goods were faulty and returned. Store manager forced us to take a replacement. After 1 year trying to solve the credit note, only got it when i took them to online county court. Within 14 days credit note issued, the creation finance were paid back their money. Got an issue with DFS. Go to court, don't waste time with them.
Don't buy DFS SofaCare Insurance - Don't believe what the sales people peddle when selling you this 5 year insurance policy. We were led to believe our sofa cushion's could be refilled within 5 years if they sagged or lost shape... 3 Years in and our sofa cushions have sagged considerably - After spending days trying to resolve with emails and phone calls to DFS and Guardsman, we're NOT covered. SAVE YOUR MONEY, DON'T BUY SOFACARE!

Apparently the couch we got with 2 defects is acceptable to DFS. The seem to think they don't need to repair it. Even after only owning the product 1 day they think we have no right of return! DO NOT USE DFS!

I understand that there are problems with the supply of goods at the moment due to the pandemic but over 20 weeks for a sofa is unacceptable especially due to the time of year and the fact we ordered this specifically after being told that if we ordered it then we would have it well before Christmas.
We feel like we have been drastically mislead by your sales person, Steven at Cannock, obviously just so that he can make the sale and gain the commission, not caring about whether what they are saying is true or not.
We have not had any contact from DFS to let us know of any delays and have only heard from them when we have called them ourselves regarding the order. We still do not have a date for delivery although their online tracking system is now saying after 17th Janaury 2022! We ordered in early September 2021.

I purchased a new couch and swivel chair from your Stirling branch, which went as should! Then the real customer service started!
1. failed delivery with no communication, so left with nowhere to sit for the weekend and told numerous different stories as to why the delivery never happened
2. 2nd delivery, guys horrendous, damaged property and then decided to not even try and get it in the house. So another day with no furniture
3. Day of delivery, guys brilliant and managed to get furniture in the living room with no further delivery, great, however the feet were missing from one of the chairs!
4. fast forward to the 10th feb, 2 service visits for faults with the sofa, supposed workman to repair all damages, and repaint (laughable) if could attach pictures I would
5. Nobody answering emails or even acknowledging that they have received
@DFS what kind of clown show are you? Get told on 12th july i'd be 7-14 working days on a refund. 1st August and i've got 0. Go into paisley branch and the "manager" now increases the time? Not good enough. Just a huge list of let downs, disasters and lies from the company
Two blokes couldn't lift my sofa in my door, because they had to lift it up over the counters. So my 7 stone daughter and I had to do it. I'm a 63 year old granny. Now it's sitting in my sitting room with no legs, because they got in their little trucky and left without drilling the holes. Not impressed. Of course I can't get anyone on the phone either. First and last time I get anything from these jokers.
This is one of the worst companies I have dealt with. I had problems with delivery, problems assembling my bed frame, problems with my mattress. They do not care, their customer service is horrible and they will always get back to you saying: there is nothing we can do to help.
If you want a great delivery service, costumer service, great furniture. Then DO NOT buy from them.
Ordered late October with delivery due end of November. I had family visiting and was counting on this being delivered as promised but had to sleep on the floor instead as the sofa arrived right before Christmas.
Wanted to cancel my order but conveniently for DFS finance contract has a 30 days change of mind period, so I was shamelessly told from the store sales person I can't cancel my order as it will impact my credit.
They are charging £99 for delivery, I was promised for it to be removed, nothing happened. They promised to push delivery earlier than intended, it actually arrived later than the last updated ETA. They kept updating the ETA on their system so every time I sent an email to enquire and they just based their replies on the new ETA. Salesperson cheekily added their care kit in the preorder agreement without me knowing right before I signed.
