Bought the brake pads and rotor package on Amazon put them on about a month ago and the brake pads are already bad now I have to replace them again not very satisfied actually would like my money back it's ridiculous
I ordered parts online through Amazon and have tried to be understanding while the status of my order says "running late". I finally reach out to see what is going on with my order and am told it was already delivered. I explained I did not get the package. I was told FedEx delivered it so that's that. NO, THATS BETWEEN YOU AND FEDEX TO FIGURE OUT. You clearly don't have proof that it was delivered and now you look stupid and unprofessional! I would NOT recommend to buy ANY KIND OF PARTS FROM THIS COMPANY! They will not take responsibility for their poor quality of business.
I bought front and rear brake sets for my Audi; parts were okay but rear set was determined by my mechanic to not be needed, so I requested a return of the rear set. Made multiple calls to Detroit Axle to initiate a return under their return policy; no answer to calls, chat room never open. Finally sent email; they responded in 2 days and promised to send return label. Did not send label, did not respond to further email inquiries. Finally called again and then customer service picked up phone and did send label. Sent products back, retained proof of delivery, but they never issued a credit. Eventually had to get my credit card issuer to back charge them.

My daughter purchased upper control arms for a GMC 3500 Dually. Bowl joints didn't even last a year. No grease fittings. The grease in the joints is dried up and do a Kiki powder. Ordered new upper ball joints from AutoZone, only to find out that Detroit axle uses some odd size ball joint that is not the same as the factory General Motors. Now we have to replace the entire control arm again. Control arms from Auto Zone, or twice the thickness and weight as the ones from this company. Garbage parts. Wouldn't buy them for my bicycle.

I'd purchased a pair of front struts from Detroit Axle for my Toyota within 2 weeks the front strut mounts and bearings were bad so I had to pay according to the receipt 650.00 dollars to have the struts removed and installed two strut bearings and mounts on the struts 05/22/2022 all within of 30 days purchasing

Called for information, sales rep made a sale off me. Just to later have them ignore me when I was told to contact them for Shipping information. 2 emails and no reply. Called 5 days later just to have Patty tell me she doesn't see my order. Then she found it and I asked her to email me the details, she stated she could not! Do not buy their wheel bearings! They are complete junk!ordered rear and front bearings for my 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe. The rears only lasted 1,000 miles-I returned the bad rear set and they charged me over $50.00 to return them. I got the replacement bearings and they didn't' last 500 miles-I will never buy from them again!

I purchased a remanufactured rack and pinion from Detroit Axle, guaranteed to have all seals replaced, air tested and free from leaks or defects. Instead, they gave me a rack and pinion that was repainted and had a blown out top seal where the steering connects to the rack. There was no core charge nor was there any instructions regarding returning my old rack. They hid in the fine print that the 10-year warranty is only obtainable if the core is sent back within 45 days. My mechanic disposed of the old rack and pinion and so I get no warranty. They refused to help at all. I hope they go bankrupt, they don't stand by their products and hide caveats in fine print and ship out defective repainted parts and couldn't care less about taking customers' money and making them spend on mechanic labor as well. Their customer service rep was friendly but couldn't do anything to help. I'm never buying anything from them again and will be advising everyone I know to avoid them.

Bought an axle. Less than 2 days after install it develops a clicking sound. I had already ordered another one to replace my other side. When that one arrived I replaced, the already replaced one. Clicking goes away. Contact the company who informs me they won't help me unless I take it to a certified mechanic to tell me it's bad. Which means I have to pay someone to do exactly what I already did, pay for the install pay for the labor which cost more than the dang part does. They won't refund my money, won't send a replacement and I'm general, won't do anything to help. They said this information is clearly defined in their warrant guidelines. After reading, it is not"clearly" defined and is hidden amongst vague terms. This comapny is trash and will give you the runaround if you buy from them.
If someone from this company would like to rectify this, feel free to contact me but unless it's to offer a refund, we're past the point of an exchange or just smoothing it over.

Its crap! Purchased front upper lower control arms and tie rods with ends. About 9 months into their use the tie rod ends (ball joints) were failing. Making loud popping noises. Replaced the ends and now the lower ball joints are going out. Squeaking and creaking with every turn of the wheel. Their stuff seems like a good idea, but it's not. Save yourself the trouble and double work. Buy Moog or another name brand.
I have used DA for all my brake pads and rotors for several years. I have always had fast shipping and have not experienced any issue where something needed to be returned. Not everyone's experience from what I'm seeing, but for me they have been great.

Purchased brake set from Detroit axle. Returned within days of receipt in the unopened original box. Detroit axle took over 20%, returning less than 80% of the original purchase price. Tried to resolve the issue with no success. Was told I could have returned it for a full refund if I had purchased an equivalent amount of product. Wasn't info er med of this until after the refund had been processed. Offered to buy more then but it was conveniently "to late". This is a deceptive business practice and very dishonest. DO NOT BUY FROM DETROIT AXLE!

Zero stars. Ordered 2 strut assemblies, got 1. Called and was promised shipment with a tracking code. No code, no shipment. Trying to get money back now as I do not believe I will get the second part. Meanwhile the car is apart and unusable. Still waiting for refund or part. ZZzzzzzz.
I messed up on eBay and ordered rear rotors instead of front ones for my 08 frontier. EBay wouldn't let me cancel it. I called Detroit Axle and they immediately cancelled the order before it was shipped out. They called me back to confirm the label was cancelled. Then, with the correct order they sent me extra products along with my original order. Very pleased! And it was next day delivery! I'll be using them in the future!

I wish 100 characters were enough to explain the runaround i got after DA sends the wrong rack, can't provide the correct rack in a timely manner pouring me in a position of sourcing a different rack, then screwing me on a refund and charging exorbitant restocking fee against the credit, all from their error! And now they expect me to cough up another$100 to get the rack i originally ordered? Come on, doesn't the customer deserve better? Order ******* fyi

Received new rotors and pads. Installed them and the new clips that held in the pads were not bent properly from the factory and the rubbed on the rotors and broke. I had to use the old clips with the new pads and that solved it. I contacted customer service to explain the problem but got the I must not have been qualified to install them story. He did not want to hear any details about the problem.
Don't Buy Anything From This Company!

I ordered parts for my truck that did not fit. I am not sure if it was my mistake or the companies. I went through step by step to do a return for refund and was told I was good to go. I have been waiting weeks for my refund that I was told would be done in 24 hours! Now I can not get anybody to return my calls or get my refund. They gave me a return number and all the things I want to hear but still no results! I do not recommend this company to anyone. Pretty much if you make a mistake you are SCREWED!

Let's face it, they refurbish junk yard parts. Sent me a rack they obviously pulled from a junker as the electrical connector was broken by the gorilla who took it off. Sent it back per their request. They never shipped the replacement until I called them to ask where it was. Sent them back my old rack and never received my core charge back. First they said they never received my old rack. I sent them UPS proof. Then they said there wasn't a core charge, I sent them the attached from their own listing. Then they changed the listing and tried to offer me a store credit instead of the promised refund! That didn't work because I had a copy of the original listing. Then they promised refund to credit card (see attached), never happened. Now they've promised "checks in the mail" - been 6 weeks, no check. Apparently, this is there standard practice.
