Their customer service is horrible. I had to wait online for hour before somebody answered the phone and then was only told that it was FedEx's problem that my package hadn't showed up and FedEx says that it's their problem that their package hadn't showed up. So I've yet to receive parts yet to receive refund and have been passed back and forth. Only to be told there's nothing that either one of them can do completely horrible way to treat a customer and unacceptable to the fact that I am now out money and out of business because my package didn't show up on time and I never got my money back. I would suggest never ordering anything from this company
I figured I'd give somebody besides rock auto a chance. I went to the website clicked on the tabs ordered the axle. When I called customer service he claimed I didn't check turbo and I did not check automatic transmission. The application for a non-turbo manual transmission is for an Eco sport sold in India. I did not click that nor do I live in India. I sent them pictures of the rotor, which had three nicks on the outer edges of scratch and an imperfection. He stated that that was acceptable by Detroit Axle standards. I've been working on cars for 40+ years. I've never put a road like that on a car obviously, QAQC is not there. They'll take the axle back, but they're gonna take half the money for a refund fee and the rotor again is acceptable in their eyes. I spent the Saturday taking my car apart to put it back together so I can get back to work on Monday. It was a waste of time and a waste of money.
Don't go to this company they will dodge and weave your refund request and take forever to respond back and I even called to get a refund they just sent me a return label when I physically don't have the part on me
Do not buy from them. They are a con artist and rip offs. They're customer service Sucks their Supervisors and managers refuse to get on the phone to handle complainthe customer service.

Do not buy from this seller they sent me the wrong parts for my car I return parts and they only issued 69.99 of the 199.00 stating a restocking fee of 133.00. When amazon reach out about the restocking fee they lied and stated I didn't return all the parts which is a complete lie. Everything they sent me was return unused. Still in the same box they sent it to me. I google the company and there are several reviews of this company sending people the wrong parts and charging people restocking fees for the wrong parts they sent.

Pay $10 more and get treated as a valued customer. They rely on a gotcha style purchase process. Customer service is rude and absolutely useless. They're only there to pretend to help. Don't do it.
My parts did not even last a month and then they want to pay more for shipping the product than the part itself. Neither of the struts work correctly. I had to replace it once and then less than a month later I had to replace the new. The bolt broke in half at the top of the strut and moved out of place.
I ordered parts for my truck they sent the wrong ones told me to send them back and they were giving me a refund! Three weeks later still no refund and they want to charge me a return fee for sending the wrong parts to me to begin with! This is a place is a scam
I strongly advise against doing business with this company. They sent me two incorrect steering racks for my vehicle, both of which looked similar but were for completely different years. Not only did I lose time and money dealing with these parts, but the mistakes have left my car sitting at the shop for months.
Here's how this went down: I ordered the first steering rack 3 months ago. It was wrong, so they made me pay an additional deposit for a second one. The deposit was almost the same amount as my original purchase, but surprise—the second one was wrong too. Now they're telling me they can't refund me for the original part because it was ordered three months ago!
The worst part? They keep promising a call back from a manager, but it never happens. It's clear the calls are routed to a call center where no one has a clue about my case. I've been stuck with the wrong parts for months, and nobody at the company seems to care.
The worst part of all—these are critical car components that could have serious safety consequences if the wrong part is installed. Purchased Struts from them and less than 1 year later the top stud snapped for no reason. Out of stock for a warranty replacement and they stated they will be back in stock in 1 week. 10 days later I call and no they are still out of stock and now we have no shipping date of when we'll have them back in stock. No refund, no answers for how do I'll get my vehicle back on the road. I could have picked up a replacement at several other suppliers and been back on the road which is what I will now do at my own additional cost. Terrible (or should I say no) customer support and obviously poor quality parts. Being from Metro Detroit I am ashamed they are using name "Detroit" as a symbol of quality. Buyer beware!

I placed an order for rotors and pads, waited a cpl days and contacted "Amy" from customer svc and she lied and told me my order had shipped.2 days later, no info on fedex tracking so I contact her again and was once again told order was shipped. LIES! 2 more days and fedex shows order was received earlier this day. By now, the parts are useless to me due to having to buy locally because I couldnt wait any longer. Contacted Amy again and told her to cancel my order and she refused and told me no refund would be given but she would give me 10% off my next order. I then tell her that it will freeze in hell before I ever do business with those crooks again. It is now well over a week since I initially placed the order and I have yet to see any parts. They are by far the WORST option for buying car parts and if you are smart, you will stay far away from this crooked place. If anybody ever decides to file a class action lawsuit against these crooks, count me in!
Bought a front end kit from Detroit axle, had two bad upper control arms (ball joints) bad sway bar links and a bad inner and outter tie rod. To get the replacement parts they wanted me to pay for shipping. So pay for parts, shop to put them in, then pay to ship new $#*!ty parts yeah no thanks. Will never buy from Detroit axle again.
I got the parts within a week no complaints there. I'm sure the parts are correct also. I got into an accident and car is totaled no longer need the parts and for a return they want my order number but they pull up someone else's account for ball joints. She said I'm sorry give me the correct number I said this is the correct number she said I'm sorry and hung up on me. I wasted $166.
Ordered hub assembly for 05 Colorado z71. Received the wrong parts, called and got the right parts ordered, sent the wrong one back and was told the correct parts would ship out overnight delivery. Parts are still sitting in the warehouse according to the customer service representative and will ship whenever. Meanwhile truck is sitting on jack stands. In the way. I had to give a star to leave my review otherwise I wouldn't have gave them any. Do not do business with them if you want your parts correct and in a timely manner. Use Rock Auto. Way better
I got charged for shipping two times and still didn't get the right product and then they charged me 31 more dollars to restock it so they got me for almost 90 bucks and I got nothing from them so watch out because they will get you too
I ordered front pads and rotors, instead I received front and rear brake pads, called and was on the line for 26 minutes trying to fix rhe issue. Spoke to Aden to get my rotors, paid for them right away and 2 days later still had not shipped. Called them and said my order would not ship until Monday. That means it would take 6 days before Shipping my rotors which I was supposed to get with my brake pads.
My husband purchased front end suspension kit for my 2008 Tahoe, rotors and brake pads, ceramic"' for all 4 wheels in August 2021. They were not ceramic by any means. After the parts were replaced in October 2021, my wheels kept getting a black dust hard to clean. Now the rear driver side break pad is not only destroyed but it cut into the rotor.

Answer: For us it has been a scam and we will never order from them again and request you do not. But the choice is up to you.
