Very easy to place my order. I'm very satisfied. Best quality glasses at great prices.
The glasses frames were exactly as expected. I was grateful to find them. I had my optician install the lenses that I need. I am wearing those glasses as I speak! Good job for you all!
Ordered and received my frames and they are very nice and I am waiting for my eye appointment to get a prescription and I may be sending them to you for lenses
I love the frames. The lenses are the best. I will be a repeat customer.
Ordered T. Baker frames, prompt delivery, impeccable. I keep recommending Designer Optics to my acquaintances.
I ordered this frame for my brother and he had his prescription put in at his local eye doctor. He loves them. Shipping was super fast as well.
Great website, great price, great product, bought this frame for back up for the pair I wear now.
I received my glasses but had to send them back. There was a small decorative piece missing on the frame. Took a while to finally get them.
The glasses I got weren't the same color as the ones depicted on the site and didn't fit. Upon returning them I was charged $10, which only appeared on the website after I got into an argument with support about it. Their "we care about your satisfaction" $#*! isn't accurate. Plenty of other vendors out there.
Beware - Fake "designer" glasses, poor quality lense and customer service who doesn't seem to understand our concerns.
We ordered a pair of Oakley glasses, the price was comparable to the other stores we looked at. We ordered from Designer Optics. We finally got the glasses and noticed immediately that the left lense seemed like it was damaged or something. Maybe forced into the frame? The right lense didn't have the issue I saw on the left lense. So I took the glasses to our local optometrist and he confirmed two things. The left lense was not put into the frame right and two... They were not real Oakleys. I even checked myself to confirm that they were fake. I let customer service know both of these issues. Their response was "As per our modern machinery, we did confirm that the lenses were made correctly, as ordered." It's like they didn't even read what the issue was. We don't expect to pay the price we paid for a pair of FAKE designer glasses. You can see in the photos that the lense is not right. You are NOT supposed to see that in your lenses. They say they only purchases their glasses from reputable sellers. Well maybe they are getting scammed, but I'm sure they are fully aware the glasses they buy are fake. I disputed the charge with my bank.
Item was shipped promptly & received in a nice package. Would order again.
My husband found a beautiful pair of Saint Laurent frames here. We thought that the good reviews meant that they were a reputable retailer. We were wrong.
After receiving the prescription glasses with expensive lens add-ons, my husband noticed that the Transitions XtrActive coatings were not working properly.
First of all, the glasses were covered with spots on the lenses when he received them, which should have been a bad omen. After cleaning the spots off the glasses, my husband tried on the glasses inside and out to test the Transitions lenses. They did not lighten back to clear after being indoors for 10 minutes! The XtrActive coating advertises that they are 35% faster than other Transitions and photochromatic type coatings!
My husband and I have worn prescription glasses for 13 and 25 years respectively and have purchased glasses with different brands and generations of photochromatic lenses. Only photochromatic lenses that have been used for over 2 years or are from Transitions Gen 4 or earlier have such issues with transitioning indoor.
We even took his glasses to a local optometrist with a lab onsite that offers the XtrActive coatings to have them analyzed. The optician said that the speed of the transition did not coincide with the XtrActive product.
Dealing with the company has not been that easy. Multiple back and forth exchanges have finally coaxed the company to allow my husband to send the glasses back for analysis.
My husband is now without glasses and has a prescription strength that requires correction 24/7. We are traveling soon and this is a real letdown.
I advise anyone with a need for prescription glasses to look elsewhere.
Needed a very specific frame and found it at an excellent price. No issues with delivery.
Good service, nicely packaged frames. I was happy to find the frame I wanted, at a better price than my local stores.
Got my glasses on time and great price and I will continue to buy glasses for here
Excellent, would highly recommend, and will use again in the future.
I was afraid I would not get my order on time but eventually I did. Very nice quality
Answer: Actually its not a scam, I took my glasses to a gucci retailer and had them verified.
Answer: Mine were authentic as ever Versace store confirmed
Answer: Not easy at all! You can send an email, which will likely take at least a week for them to respond, or you can call. I have called and emailed several times. There are only 2 customer service people (I asked when I called) so you sit on hold for upwards of an hour. It is horrible. Then when you do finally get a person on the line, or an email response it is just, "Your glasses are almost ready. They should be shipped out soon." When you press for more detailed information they put you on hold and then come back and say that the lab is currently working on them. If you email for more information then you email is likely never returned.
Answer: Their Customer Service is absolute garbage...
Answer: I put in an order from Canada back in April 2025. There were some delays in shipping and delivery due to holiday long weekend and availability of the frames I ordered from the store. But I did get my order after a few weeks delay. So they are legitimate. Price I paid for the frames was reasonable even with the dollar exchange rate. I would consider ordering from Designer Optics again.
