They're a scam do not use I placed an order on 2/9/21 for eye glasses that I desperately need. After waiting a week for a delivery confirmation I reached out via chat all they say is that my item is on back order and do not know when they'll be in stock... they have complaints every other week on the BBB about delivery and processing issues. Their customer service is nonexistent the only way to get a hold of someone is their chat or via email. They told me a manager would get to me "sometime". So you end up spinning your wheels on getting a resolution.
I love my glasses, they are the real deal. It came in a Tiffany box with the Tiffany case, cloth and certificate of authenticity and at a very good price. From now on I will only order my designer glasses from Designer Optics. Delivery was fast and they follow up to make sure you received your package. I am very pleased with my purchase.

I just received my 2 pairs of sunglasses from them and one of the pairs Dior I got a wrong size protective case while the other pair Prada is scratched. No resolution provided by customer service team. Ignoring my messages. Very disappointed as I bought so many pairs from them before and did not have any issues. Definitely will not purchase again. Be careful.

I ordered 2 pairs of frames and paid expedited shipping. One pair was shipped immediately and then 4 days later I found out that the other pair had been discontinued. Two days after my 1st pair was on a truck for delivery (UPS), it did't show up until a week later (the box was completely crushed), so they're going back.
Customer service was somewhat helpful, it's been 3 days and I haven't received my requested Return Authorization.

Theses glasses arrived damaged and used looking. The company have said I can return them at my expense & also pay a 5% restocking fee. I think this shocking customer service. I am waiting for a reply from them but I'm still waiting

I ordered sunglasses 1 month ago and they came in with scratches. Since then I have been unable to get a return authorization number to send the product back. No response from customer service. I am disputing the charges with my credit card company. The small savings they offer are not worth the risk.

Placed order on their online shop for a pair of sunglasses with prescription. Input all requested information regarding my prescription and then they charged my card. Two weeks later, still no delivery or communications from them so I emailed asking what the status was. They said that they were still waiting for the frame from the manufacturer. Another week goes by and I ask what the status is, they say they will receive the frame in a day and send it to the lab for the prescription. Today, I get an email saying that they are unable to put a prescription in these frames. Unbelievable. They obviously don't even know what products they carry can/can't have prescriptions added. Save yourself a lot of headache. This place is not worth the headache.

I greatly appreciate how easy of a process to order and I absolutely love my frames. However, I paid $20 extra for 2 day shipping but didn't receive my frames until 5 days later. When I tried to reach customer service, I received a recording advising they were closed for the holiday. I called the first week of October and I'm not sure what" holiday " there was around that time.

These Tiffany frames are stylish and very sophisticated. They are expertly designed, craftmanship is first-rate and the price point was unbeatable. I have been purchasing my frames at this website for several years and have only positive experiences to report. The customer service reps are the best... always available to take questions and answer any concerns you may have including updates on delivery status. I made two orders from them. The first one for $85, I received the glasses without a case but they sent me a case after contacting the customer service by email.
But my second order for $200 was NEVER delivered! Even it was saying delivered in their website. I tried to call them but no one answers the calls. Even the email support are not answering my emails.

I ordered prescription sunglasses from Designer Optics and the came out great. The only issue I had was the website is limited on lens tint selection. Call them directly if you want to customize your lenses even more. They will work with you to get what you want! Will be coming back in the future.

I ruined my favorite shades I bought a couple years back and when I went to find them again they were either out of stock or unavailable in the shade I wanted.
Designer optics had multiple shades and were half the price! So I order two different colours!
They were exactly like the ones I bought in the store - same packaging and case!
I'm happy - I would for sure order from them again and recommend them to a friend.
I will note - I ordered from Canada so I had exchange + shipping + duties (but I still got two for the price of one of my favorite shades).

I do a lot of research on frames before ordering online, so I had a couple satisfactory purchases from this company, but not because of the information they provide on their site, or through support, but because I researched it. Their customer service is horrible. You may or may not hear from them for up to a week after placing your order, and after they take your payment. And when they do finally send a note that your order has shipped, it's days before you can track it. (I suspect it's coming from somewhere other than New York.) Additionally, please note you cannot return RX glasses. They state this in the policy, but it's buried. There are other online companies (i. E. GlassesUSA) that are much more transparent (and you can return RX) with great customer service.

I suggest always using PayPal with a website or company you are unsure with. It provides extra security and insurance on your order. The reviews on this company scared me but, I didn't read them till after I order. So I filed a dispute through PayPal basically saying, "if they are scamming people I need my money back." Designer Optics contacted me right away through PayPal and sent me my order within 2-3 business days as promised. Good customer service, Great Product

Just got it, thanks to our postmaster who let us know the box arrived even though it didn't have the post office box number. Good to live in a small town for 45 years. In future, you should let people know if it is sent by postal service and we can easily provide the correct shipping address for that service.

Got my glasses in the mail and UPS destroyed the box. One of the arms fell off after only using them for a week but it may not be because of a lack of quality, but because they got beat up in the mail. They feel very solid and premium but for 50 dollars and then another 15 for shipping I was expecting them to be packaged a little better.

Stay away from this company! Ordered sunglasses online from Designer optics. Didn't receive any order confirmation. Emailed them questioning whether the order was placed. Then emailed two more times. Then phoned each day for 8 days. Left messages; no response. Contacted my credit card company and learned I had been charged. I again emailed them notifying them I wished to cancel the order as I ordered them from amazon, due to lack of any acknowledgment from them for 8 days. Low and behold, a sudden response from them saying they had already shipped. Shady operation. Save yourself and do not put yourself through the frustration of dealing with this store. The price on Amazon was lower, I received order confirmation immediately, and they shipped within 24 hours.

Sat on my glasses and snapped the frames in two pieces. Called my eye doctor and they told me they would try to find the same frame and would call me back with a price. She did say it would be between $300 and $400 dollars and would take a while to process the order. I came across Designer Optics by doing a Google search. Talked to a very friendly and knowledgeable person, told them what I was looking for she paced the order threw in an additional 5% coupon bringing the price to $90 dollars and I got the frames in 7 days. Could not be happier.

Answer: Not easy at all! You can send an email, which will likely take at least a week for them to respond, or you can call. I have called and emailed several times. There are only 2 customer service people (I asked when I called) so you sit on hold for upwards of an hour. It is horrible. Then when you do finally get a person on the line, or an email response it is just, "Your glasses are almost ready. They should be shipped out soon." When you press for more detailed information they put you on hold and then come back and say that the lab is currently working on them. If you email for more information then you email is likely never returned.
