So, about a year ago I purchased a mani-pedi package. Spent $100. A few months later I called to book an appointment and found that the business had went out of business. I contacted dealfind to get my money back and they said no way. They offered me five dollars off my next purchase. Um, seriously? Like where is my other $95? And after that, why would I want to buy anything else from this site? Never again.

"If you're unhappy with anything you bought from Dealfind, tell us and we'll do our best to make things right" - that's on the front page of the site. I bought an item that is defective and asked for their help with exchanging it or getting a refund. Their response: if the item was opened, we don't give refunds, deal with the merchant yourself... If that's their idea of making things right, they shouldn't be in business! If Amazon or Groupon did that, they'd be history a long time ago!..

Was there a merger here? If so, that may be the reason my experience was good today (vs. What I've seen in other reviews). My bad experience was with a merchant who would have me drive 30 miles (2x I tried) and then cancel my appointment while I was sitting in the business parking lot waiting for her. The good news is that Dealfind actually resolved my issue within 24 hours (like they said they would). Hopefully this is a sign of things to come for the company.

Do not use this site. I bought a voucher that states "no expiration date". I waited a year to use it and the merchant would not accept the voucher. Dealfind will not refund my money because it is over a year ago. They would not give me any store credit either. So my money went for nothing. Absolutely scammers. Hope these people go out of business. Groupon and LivingSocials are much better. Never had a bad experience with Groupon or LivingSocial. Always bad experienced with Dealfind.

Dealfind is a scam!
August 28, 2013

Dealfind is a scam! They issue vouchers that "don't expire" but when merchants no longer accept them refuse any sort of refund/credit. They claim that since it's been over a year they can't, yet if something "doesn't expire" you would think you have over a year to use it!

SCAM!
September 9, 2013

SCAM! Zero stars, but I didn't have that option! Vendor cannot honor coupon and Dealfind won't refund me. Vendor said Dealfind paid him about $200 in the beginning and now they won't pay him. Understandably, he cannot honor something for which he has not been paid. His is a small operation and I know he works very hard. He is extremely distraught over this and worries if it will ruin his business. He made me a reasonable offer to provide the service for a discounted price that when added to what I paid for the worthless Dealfind coupon is about 10% less than his published price. I will do this so I don't lose what I paid for the coupon and because I feel for the guy who is being screwed by this shady, unethical and illegal company.

Dealfind is the worst merchant I have used. They are unresponsive. With the two purchases I made, one never arrived and I had to fight for a refund. The second arrived 3 months later and broke two months after that. I wrote to Dealfind about this but their response is that it was not their problem now. They may be horrible for the merchants but they are just as bad to their consumers!

Dealfind is a scam
December 20, 2012

Dealfind is a scam. I purchased two items over a month and a half ago and have not received either product. They have not responded to my emails inevitably so purchase products from team buy. I can't even receive a refund. They even sent me an empty envelope for one product.

My husband bought 2 photography vouchers for $120 a few years ago with no expiration dates on them. We went to claim the vouchers this Christmas but the photographer has since been charged with 5 counts of sexual assault and is no longer in business. We called dealfind to get a refund, or at least a credit and they told us to go stuff it. Since they merged with teambuy they have changed their terms and conditions and will not do anything for us. Unbelievable. When we bought these vouchers, those were not the terms and conditions of the vouchers. Normally, a contract is preserved and you are grandfathered during a merger. Those vouchers do not have expiration dates. That money went to the vendor... you would think they would at least give us a number? Credit? ANYTHING? Nope. Based in Toronto and won't even investigate.

I had never sold anything on a site like this so I was pulled in good. With everything that happened when all was said and done. I have to pay the shipping charges which I knew but they said I would still profit. Well guess what I am going to be in the negative and owe a lot of money which I do not have. My friend is a lawyer and I will talk to her. Do not go to Dealfind. If I did not have to pay shipping then it would be fine. The shipping charges are murder. They said shipping would not cause any problems. Sorry to say it will break me if I do it. I will talk to my lawyer friend and if I can I will send a note to every customer telling them why they are not getting their item. I am just sick about this.

First deal I bought was not honored by facility. Was issued "Deal Find" dollars as a refund, but when I went to redeem it, the item was not even shipped. Had to f/u about 10 times before any response. BAD!

I bought 4 voucher from dealfind which is cost me $100. One of them close the business and other merchant said they don't deal with dealfind any more and they refused me. Two of the vouchers said they never expire. Now I can't use these vouchers and I contact dealfind they don't answer my phone, I send them email explain everything. Dealfind replay my email back saying they can't do anything I have to contact with merchants and this case is now close. I am still trying to contact merchant to get my money back but they don't give me any positive response yet it's been over a month. Can anyone advice me what to do?
In my advice we should all get together and fight with this scam

I have had relatively good experiences with Dealfind until a month ago. I bought some services and products and I was fairly happy with the quality, until last month when I tried to use one voucher that supposedly had no expiration date and another that expires in April 2014. Both business refused to do the services I bought, and in both cases Dealfind refused to issue a refund or credit because the deals were purchased more than a year ago. So I have lost $110. I have other vouchers that I would probably have an issue using. I would not recommend them or use it anymore unless it is a service you plan to use within the next 30 days.

Bought a voucher coupon from Dealfind in Sept. Couldn't get in on their 1-888 number to reserve the room for Ramada. Notified the support team. They said they would gladly do it for me. That's the last I heard from them. I tried 4 times to rectify the problem but to no avail. Have since wanted the voucher cancelled and credit card credited. Haven't heard a word from Dealfind. NORM

I bought a coupon from Dealfind. The service was really bad - it was advertised as a Studio and Spa, but really it was a place for manicurist students to practice (there weren't even any teachers there), so my nails are ruined. I contacted Dealfind three times, asking them to look into it and asking for a refund. They replied that they will get back to me, but they have not after 33 days. BEWARE of Dealfind. A terrible, unreliable company

I have had terrible experience with this outlet or whatever it is. Most of the products I purchased were unfortunately from China. One item I received was totally useless and when I contacted Dealfind Customer Service, they told me to contact DinoDirect myself and try to work out my problem. The product I ordered would not upload to my computer and it would have cost a fortune to send it back to China so I was stuck with it. I would definitely recommend people to stay as far away from this company as possible. Terrible customer service and unethical practices.

While their offers are enticing, I'd recommend purchasing through Groupon Goods (or ANY other deal site, for that matter). My first purchase was relatively small, because I didn't trust the site. SO GLAD I didn't spend more money. It's been almost three months since my order "cleared" and no one at Deal Find knows where my purchase is, if it's on the way, or anything. Their customer service is terrible and they work with shadey vendors. Take your money elsewhere!

Totally unprofessional. Refused to intervene when merchant wouldn't honour my (4) vouchers. Wouldn't issue a credit as it was over one year since purchase (no expiry on vouchers). Finally they said it was a "legal matter between them and the merchant and my case was closed" I think customers should bring a class action suit against them.

Well i'm not sure why there are so many negative reviews, but my sister and i both bought 2 vouchers each to follicle hair salon for $29 i believe for colour, cut, style and manicure. At first when we called the salon took a while to get back to us we had to call multiple times. When we went for our appointments, the place was small but nice, the owner was not rude and was not nice either, but the wokers were nice. Service was nothing fancy just get the job done, pretty good for a $30 dollar deal. I tipped them $20 and so did my sister.

I also bought a mink eyelash extension deal for $39 i havent used it yet.

So i dont have many experience with this website but so far so good

I purchased two vouchers on Dealfind for 39. Each for Steam Carpet Cleaning MD. When I went to schedule the service, I called the number listed on the voucher and it is not a valid number! The company also does not have a valid website. Either it went out of business or never existed. When I contacted Dealfind, they will not refund my money but will only give me Dealfind dollars as credit on their site! What kind of scam is this? I have reported them to the BBB!
