I purchased one of the Louis Vuitton purse from their deal. Not only it was not authentic but also a piece of garbage. They did not take responsibility for their deal and I am out of my money. I will never purchase anything from them.
Total rip off... They sale you the voucher but fail to back it up. I purchased 4 tickets through a vendor who decided to have blackout dates until the expired date of the voucher. I emailed Dealfind and included my call logs where I've been calling the company and screenprints of the website saying they arr closed due to weather conditions. Keep in mind Los Angeles has been in the mid 70' to the mid 80's so I see no bad weather condition for a short boat ride. Anyway, Dealfind said they are unable to offer a refund because its after the 7 days of purchase as if I knew months ago that the company was going to pull this and rob me of four roundtrio tickets.
DEALFIND will find the deal but don't expect them to back the deal or even care if you were able to enjoy your purchase.
Don't do business with them. Learn from my mistake.
I'm all for getting in on a class action lawsuit!
I bought 3 different services, could not get anyone to answer the phone or emails. 2 are 'out of business' and the 3rd has not answered email, voicemail or text.
Ordered the pair sterling silver earring deal - offer says 2-4 weeks for delivery - I contacted their 800# in week 5 - voicemail and all options were same voice requesting I leave a message and they will contact me the next business day. I tried 4 times in 4 days - no callback. No response. I contacted dealfind, explained above situation - their response was to wait and call 800#. They didn't even read my email or they knew I had already waited and had called 4 times. I asked for a refund - they said seller will contact them within 48 hours. Let's see if I can get my refund. I will not buy from Dealfind again. Go with Groupon, LivingSocial and Amazon or Google.
Scams and Terrible deals (cheap and not what it is in the pictures). Further they do not stand behind the websites they promote. I bought vouchers for another website which they were promoting, which turned out to be a complete scam. The deal was to by the coupon and then go to the site and order the product, but pay for shipping costs there. Dealfind refunded the money for the voucher, but not the money that I had to put up at the site they promoted. I will NEVER use this site again.
Deal Find is not credible. Bought 2 vouchers for a $#*! car service in Boston called Quick Livery. Tried to redeem the voucher for trip to airport. When called to arrange pick-up I was asked how will I be paying. Cash, credit card or voucher. When I said voucher they hung up on me. This happened several more times. I have written several times to Deal Find and have not received a response. I decided to contact my credit card company, the BBB and will send out a release to the media about how bad Deal Find is. Will never do business with Deal Find again and would advise anyone to steer clear of them.
I bought 4 vouchers for Healthsmart chiro-therapy thru them 2 months ago on November 18,2011. I was charged for 8. They refunded 4 I didn't want after a month but... the 4 "deals" I bought was for a non existent company apparently. Healthsmart chiro-therapy never answers their phone, doesn't return messages, etc,. I can't confirm they even exist. I have contacted Deal Find several times. I am still waiting for them to get back to me concerning this business and a refund. So far have not heard back nor received a refund. I will never "deal" with dealfind again. Big rip-off!..
AWFUL customer service. They have teamed up with TEAMBUY. I tried to redeem my voucher at a merchant several times, and failed. I contacted dealfind customer service, and was told they cannot refund me and that the case was closed.
They do not do a good job at finding reputable merchants.
I purchased vouchers for cleaning service and the deal says the voucher will never expire. Then I could never get in touch with the service provider. And now I can't get my money back or dealfind credit because deafind says it passed their refund time! I lost more than two hundred dollars.
They were offering a $280 2-storey house window cleaning for $55. I signed up only to learn that it was impossible to reach the window cleaning company. Dealfind wanted me to wait 30 days for my refund. I immediately called Mastercard who blocked the transaction. I called Dealfind back and they said they would send me a credit $55 + 10% for my inconvenience. I had to insist they REFUND the $55 immediately as I didn't want to do business with them again. I'm embarassed as I had referred this "deal" to a number of friends.
I've used Groupon a number of times without any problems. I will only use Groupon from now on.
Thsi site is not just hazardous to companies but, also, to customers. They are notorious for taking money but not solving issues such as the flying fish promo from WidgetLove.com. They do specialize in a runaround and avoiding refunds with the sketchy companies they do business with. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Spread this to your friends, make it go viral and show companies such as this that consumers can and will protect themselves.
On April23,2014 my granddaughter ordered a bathing suit from Dealfind/Teambuy
At a cost of $23.00. It was to be sent to me, paying through my checking account.
I had never heard of the companies and entered their names with a scam as the last word. I discovered the numerous complaints of this Canada based company.
30 days later, I filed a complaint through PayPal and entered a claim within their 45 day time frame. PayPal notified me on June 16,2014 that I was to get a refund as the company did not respond to my claim. Luckily, I went through PayPal. There was no response from the seller and the bathing suit was never received. I encouraged PayPal to review the many complaints associated with this company. Even with PayPal protection, I would never order from this company again. I am sorry I had to give them a one star, which is two too many.
I don't often write reviews, but my advice is to avoid this company altogether as they have terrible refund policies. As an example I purchased 3 bras online in July and they did not arrive for 3 months, with damaged packaging from overseas. They were defective and I called them immediately to report this and never heard back. I was away in Oct, my husband was hospitalized in Nov, died in Dec and his celebration was held in Jan. By the time I realized I never heard back, I contacted them in Feb and was told that they could not arrange for a replacement or refund due to the length of time since it was purchased. Huh? A 2nd example is I purchased a service from a beauty salon that had no expiry date. Subsequently the company closed its operations, and I could not get a refund on that service. I would have been happy with a credit for future purchases, but in both cases Dealfind has kept the money that I prepaid and did not resolve the problem. Lesson learned, but the only way to fight back is to spread the word about their unethical business practices and warn potential customers to avoid buying from DEALFIND.
I bought two dealfind purchases for $49 each and was not able to use because of the horrible business they represent never answers phones and canceled our appointments, etc... When I emailed dealfind for a refund, they refused to refund me. That is $98 I lost! They won't even attempt to help you out. I am just writing this review to warn others not to buy anything from dealfind. They should be out of business and it ashamed they're still ripping people off. I am writing to BBB next. WIsh me (and many others) luck!
Dealfind is not a good company. They would not refund me or give me a credit for a voucher for services when the company is out of business. Their voucher says there is no expiry date to receive services paid for. Will never use dealfind again, horrible service.
The website says it gives excellent customer service and will take care of customers if not satisfied. I have requested a refund two times on the online form because the owner of A Atlanta Rug Scrubber is saying I have to pay more than what I paid for the voucher. A Atlanta Rug Scrubber is getting horrible reviews and the owner has done this to numerous people, said they needed to pay more than what they bought the voucher for. I have called Dealfind numerous times and contacted people via email and on the website. Nobody there, neither the owner or CEO, whose contact info I found online, is responding to my request for help.
This company is dishonorable and should not be able to operate. I bought a voucher for a port dalhousie boat tour which the tour operator will no longer honor. I contacted Dealfind to get a refund first by email (2X) and by phone. There was no customer service contact by phone -only email which they haven't responded to. I tried the back way in through accounts and was then sent to a automated response line. It is impossible to get a hold of them and they have no interest in helping the customer out. This is quite a contrast to my very positive experience with Wagjag.
They are the worse and are part of Team Buy so stay away from them. The voucher I had stated it wouldn't expired not even the promotional amount and due to health reasons I couldn't use it and now that I can the place is closed and DealFind will not refund or give me a credit due to their policy. How unfeeling... Sarah the manager stated, thank you for your understanding... yeah right there is no understanding for being so uncaring, it is disgusting! STAY AWAY! 1
Horrible customer service! Try getting a refund, you'll wait months and get thrown around and around and around... they say they'll refund your full money back within 30 days. Just try it. Their customer service line keeps you on hold (I'm on hold now for 35 minutes and counting), they take forever to email you back, and when they do, they don't give you the refund, you have to keep asking for it... i'm still fighting to get a refund for something I bought in December last year and applied for the refund within the 30 days. You never work with the same person so you have to keep explaining your problem each time you talk to someone new. And it's only $29 I'm requesting back! Seriously, if it wasn't for the principle of it, I would just chalk up that $29 to a good lesson learned - never buy from Dealfind!
I recently bought a dealfind for some gutter cleaning, and when I couldn't get a hold of the company, I went back to dealfind who gave me a credit for the full amount to use on there site, I have ordered a stopwatch, so I hope it comes now. The company that was suppose to do the gutter cleaning emailed me and said they have a lawsuit against deal find, as they never paid them for the deals. If I don't get my products, I will unsubscribe from them and delete them from my emails. I'd be careful with this company
Answer: They are crooks of first kind. I had coupons with no expiry and restaurants have changed ownership. Coupons are worthless and Deal Find doesn't want hear about. Theirs reps are rude and stubborn. Good luck to you but don't hold your hopes high as they ARE crooks.
Answer: I paid 25 for a Dealfind restaurant voucher. Is it kaput or will the restaurant honor it?
