CRAVE is absolute garbage. They have terrible customer service, consistent glitches in the streaming service, and they took my money without my permission. I asked to speak to a manager several times and was told no with no reasoning as to why. Are there even managers at this company? Or is it run by scammers. Don't waste your money. It's extremely expensive and the content you get is not worth the price. Netflix is much better. CRAVE is a scam. They will take your money without your permission and tell you "no refunds allowed" when you ask for it back ON your renewal date. Don't give them your credit card information, they will steal from you.
I have all, if not most, of the streaming services out there and Crave is by far the worst one. It is SO SLOW, constantly buffering and kicking me out of my episodes with error messages. It is beyond annoying. When you attempt to look for solutions to these problems, you are met with "it must be your internet service because Crave is updated all the time". When you look at these reviews and see how piss poor they are, how can they justify that response? No way the majority of your customers have 'poor connections". Instead of pointing blame, fix your issues, especially if you ever want to stand a chance of competing with services like Netflix.
Complete waste of money and not worth the stress and frustration
I got a $100 gift card for Crave at Christmas. I had to call them twice to honour the gift and am now getting menacing emails that they can't process my payment, even though my gift card is good until mid April. Unlike Netflix, I had to sign in each time to stream and still got kicked out several times. Their platform is clunky and not user friendly. But, worst of all, I can no longer access it through Roku, which worked fine for two months. For over a month, Crave has been unable to fix the issue. Each tech staff is nice but has no technical skills, referring back to another tech person and telling me they'll call back the next day, then calling again and when I ask a question, they say they will get back to me tomorrow. Truthfully, it's been the same story for weeks. It's the saddest service imaginable. I will now move to trying to get a rebate back... Canadians deserve better!
It's 2020. Hire better engineers when you charge enormous amounts of money for your subscriptions. Terrible video player. Can't change episodes, it gives an error when you try to play a different episode and you'll need to refresh the whole page and it's incredibly slow. No previews within the episodes either. 0/5 lol
Every time you go on to watch something you have to sign in, that never happens with any other streaming service. Mid-show it will just crap out when there is no internet issue or any other explanation and this happens while others in the house are happily watching another service, the selection is poor with most titles hidden behind a pay wall. Overall, not surprised since it is Bell. Horrible company, not worth it.
The website and apps have some of the worst bugs, lack of modern coding, design, and UX principles that I have ever seen considering the name and good line-up. It would take me hours to go through all of the issues. Please hire a proper UX designer and a brand new set of developers. Don't cheap out, or you will eventually lose this game because of these major failings.
Today I had no access to shows even though I paid. I was told that it was because they are upgrading. No noticed. Also everything that comes up on screen including HBO shows I watched on 9.99 are now double priced. You feel like you have to upgrade. As a long time customer I am disappointed with the greed and poor quality of service. I rather pay for Netflix.
Crave tv, is a requirement of your customer service reps that they have half a brain? It always freeze. Haven't been able to use it for 3 weeks because of updates and they don't want to credit my account. It is not user friendly at all. I would not recommend this service to my worst enemy. Please try to hire more intelligent workers in the future.
Crave is by far the worst streaming service. It lists tons of crap, unwatchable shows, and it won't let me hide anything offensive, which with Crave is 70% of what they offer.
Their menu is terrible to navigate. If you go over to another menu in a different area and then move up on the screen and accidentally go to the top, you lose your place where you were searching, and have to spend 10 minutes getting back to where you were.
But my Lord do they fill your screen with hundreds of things I'm never going to watch, without letting you highlight things you like so they can show similar things. And how can it be so hard to show me previously viewed stuff? Try to find superhero movies, and they're not listed anywhere that I can find. Is there a single redeeming quality outside of if you like lewd and crude stuff? Where is their offer of family, wholesome entertainment?
Crave is terrible. A few great shows but the poor app and customer service makes it more frustrating than its worth. So many glitches.
I complained as it kept saying that I'm watching on too many devices and only one of my two registered devices was turned on. Customer service was clueless and really had no capability to figure out what to do.
I could go on about their terrible app interface both on the phone and on smart tv but there's plenty reviews that cover that...
I just signed up a few weeks ago. During peak TV times it constantly is buffing or wont load. This is total garbage. I will not pay $20 a month for garbage service.

I cancelled the subscription a long time ago and now they renewed it on their own. Now I'm stuck with it for a year because of their no return policy. If you really need Crave, use a cash card, I have more faith in a chinese company than this one.
Purchased subscription on Dec 13 for $20/mo (Crave, HBO, movies) and I can't watch anything without constant buffering during prime time. No other service, such as Netflix, has this problem. I called customer service and they want me to call back at night when "I'm experiencing difficulties". I think I will just cancel because I know I will just jump through a bunch of hoops with no positive result. Crave is owned by Bell Media -- figures. They are a terrible company
Honestly, the content is great, but just like everyone else on here, the site and app is extremely flawed and as opposite to user-friendly as possible. It always lags, which defeats the purpose of paying for a high-quality streaming service. I had even given it 3 tries, and each time I've concluded that it was a complete waste of money. I've cancelled for the last time. It is disappointing that Canadians can't get more options for streaming and will resort to keeping cravetv. Better off buying coffees with that money.
The product doesn't work (literally, buttons will randomly stop working and prevent you from watching certain shows) and customer service is nonexistent. As a consumer that's experienced other providers from Disney+ to Netflix, Crave is truly the bottom of the barrel in terms of streaming services.
I would cancel this garbage in a heart beat but my kids like it for some reason so for now will keep paying.
On a regular basis it craps out while booting up and ask me to sign in but then will not accept my password. I then have to get to my computer and put my password in but says it will not take it because it was used before. Really! So again I make up a another new password. Everything about Crave is amateur hour. They should just look at Netflix or Prime and copy them. This of course is Bell Canada and look what they did when the entered the Satellite market again total amateurs!
It amazes me that any company would ever feel comfortable putting out such a terrible product. Crave has so much potential but if they don't fix this embarrassing dumpster fire of an app they will never be as successful as their competitors. As of right now I've made sure anyone who's asking about crave knows to avoid it at all costs. This app is not worth the money and whoever had a part in making it should be ashamed of themselves. Can't think of a better example of a company shooting themselves in the foot. DO NOT BUY CRAVE.
Far to costly for the price. I get the Disney Channel for the same amount paid to crave and it has FAR more entertainment than crave and HBO combined. They will not refund. Beware this is also renewed automatically. Make sure to cancel your subscription. Run long and run hard from this provider. Leslie
We are with Shaw. They partnered with Crave. Our recent experience has left us moving away from Shaw for premium programming and moving to Netflix. Bravo Shaw. Not.
Here's what happened: We started binge watching Homeland. Finished episode 6 of season 2 on Friday night. Tuned in on Saturday to find out all of Season 2 had been wiped out. Ok, we said. We'll move onto Season 3. Started Season 3 on Saturday and now, 4 days later Season 3 AND Season 4 are gone! What is that? We're done with Crave. Who the hell launches a service this poor? Bell Media. That's who.
They don't offer free trials for a reason - the service is absolute crap. You get 720/1080 on all titles, no 4K content, and that's for a crazy price they charge. I wish there was HBO Max in Canada - but nope. UTorrent it is. Absolute crap.
Answer: I would not recommend getting CraveTV. Their customer support and technical support as well as quality is not upto the mark to compete with other service providers.
Answer: Because they only offer the absolute bare minimum for a streaming service, I suspect the ONLY reason it has lots of subscribers because crave seems to offer more rare shows, but for a bigger price mind you.

Answer: You can't! In the settings online, there is an option, but it doesn't carry over to whatever streaming device you're using it with. Incompetent morons, owned and operated by Canada's leading internet service provider. And Bell Media wonder why people don't like them. My sister has a theory... that Bell keeps their website design backward and out of sync with current progress, so they have an excuse to charge you extra money for their incompetence.
