The overall reputation of the company is significantly tarnished by customer dissatisfaction, primarily due to high subscription costs and poor service quality. Customers frequently express frustration with the app's navigation, excessive advertisements, and limited content availability, particularly regarding language options and image quality. Additionally, complaints about customer service highlight issues with billing practices and a lack of timely support. While some users appreciate select programming, the prevailing sentiment suggests that many feel the service does not deliver value for money, leading to a strong inclination to cancel subscriptions.

Once you subscribe, you will always be charged on your credit card even though you've long unsubscribed and even completely deleted your membership on their site! You will also keep receiving emails from them telling you that they will charge your card in a week or two... and they will indeed take your money, without proper authorization.
I signed up for Crave, literally less than 1 hour ago. I wanted to watch a Halloween movie. Google listed this movie was available for streaming on Crave.ca. I proceeded to Crave to look up the movie, everything looked good. I signed up, went to the movie's page, started playing and the movie turns out to be in French. No other options, no other languages available. Nowhere during registration did I mention that I am selecting French as my language of choice.
There was no other option for English. I have no other option but to cancel. I realize there are other shows out there, but this first impression just ruined it for me.
Also, could not log in to my Crave account on Firefox browser (all adblockers disabled). But no problem with Microsoft Edge browser.
Very glitchy site.
Crave sucks, you spend so much to get crap you can get free, but if you are a member it makes no difference, I pay for crave and they want more now for "starz" shows and movies? Wtf am I paying for?
Canada Crave is trash! They will charge you over $20 a month for Very poor quality and unwatchable service! Stick to Netflix or Destiny Plus. Because they don't give a $#*! about you. Except your money. $#*! you Canada Crave!
Don't order Crave!
I ordered it last night and tried to access it on my firestick and no go.
I called and was told you can only access it on your cellphone. I told them to cancel my order and was told I still have to pay for the month. Not even 24 hours after I ordered. This company is just a thief and they will just take your money. I wouldn't give them 1 star.
This is a terrible quality streaming service, it abruptly stops 3 - 4 times per episode with an error message. To quote someone on from reddit:
"I had this problem, spent way too long trying to figure it out- my solution was to turn off all adblocker type things, including chrome settings that prevent tracking. Crave wants you to pay premium prices AND consent to being monitored so they can sell your info. BS."
The product doesn't work (literally, buttons will randomly stop working and prevent you from watching certain shows) and customer service is nonexistent. As a consumer that's experienced other providers from Disney+ to Netflix, Crave is truly the bottom of the barrel in terms of streaming services.
As far as subscriptions go, Crave is at the bottom of the barrel. The content is provides is great, but that's where it stops. The app frequently crashes, watching a series I have to frequently exit the app and go back in. Each episode I finish instead of rolling into the next there's several minutes of dead space where it either takes you no where or buffers forever. There's no recently watched icons that come up that I can easily pick up where I left off, I have to physically search for the show and often when I go back into an episode it's not where I left off (up to 10 minutes behind). Crave is the highest paying subscription of them all, which is incredible because its undoubtedly the worst. Do. Better. Crave! Or charge less!
No company in Canada, perhaps with the exception of Bombardier, is as hated as Bell, and of all the offerings Bell screws up, none are as badly mangled as CRAVE. The service is not only nonexistent, the people at Bell revel in the misery they heap on their customers. They know that CRAVE is a total disaster and they don't care. Why? Because they have a monopoly on a number of the services, awarded them by the socialist a-holes in Ottawa. Think Bombardier. Think CBC. And yes, think BELL / CRAVE. Then think of that snivelling trust-fund brat Mr Dressup, pretending to run the country. It's all one in the same.
Unintuitive and very difficult to navigate. It's like the UI was created by someone that had never used Netflix, disney plus, prime video, etc... I am unsubscribing until they fix their sloppy product.
To start since the most recent update I no longer have anything under my cravings it says I'm not watching anything I haven't favourited anything and surprise surprise I'm watching stuff and favouriting it and it's not showing up…which brings me to the second problem when watching a series instead of playing the next episode it stops and goes to Home Screen and in order to get to the next episode you have to go into the show itself and choose your episode which would be so much easier if it was in my cravings but it's not so I either have to search the main home screen or search it by name just to get back into my show it's soooooo frustrating. There's also times the screen just goes black and I have connection issues not sure if that's on my end with the Internet but it seems to only happen with crave either way I don't understand how you can charge people 10,20 and 26 dollars and have this many problems! Fix your crap!
The website constantly had technical errors. I never saw this many stupid errors when I opened a tv series that I liked. The resume bottom is also practically useless. It randomly goes back to some other episode you have already watched. Every once in a while I had to sign in again because for some reason it wouldn't recognize my account. Sometimes when I had already signed in, it would say there is some error and I had to close it and open it later. I never had this many stupid errors using Netflix. Crave is not at all user-friendly. I deleted it when I got a new error for the 100th time. Never again. Save your money and time.
Save yourself the trouble and don't purchase Crave. I only have it because my wife and I are trying to watch Friends. Can't even watch it half the time on the app. Like minimum once a week the server decides to cut out for half the evening. We are getting rid of it asap once we are done our show.
It keeps logging me out for no reason, incredibly annoying, sucks $#*! when you're trying to watch a show and it just is like "oops u have to sign in again for the 500th time".
The site has a lot of good shows and movies that I quite enjoy, which is why I keep coming back (especially when friends was removed from netflix) However, the site itself is probably the worse streaming site I've ever used. Very buggy, your watch list hardly shows up and if it does, it sometimes makes you lose the episode you were on and puts you back to season 1 - episode 1.
Search bar itself doesn't always work either.
Definitely not worth the price, regardless of the shows.
I have been using Crave since back when it was Movie Central. Crave has really gone down hill and I will most likely have no choice but to have them removed from my provider. Pricing is way to expensive for this kind of quality. Hollywood Suite is a very good alternative which I spend more time on than Crave. Sorry Crave you have really let me down.
Ya im just going to keep mooching off my friends because it is nuts expensive. A year ago i could afford it but then all of a sudden my only option was to pay 19.99$ monthly for a subscription. Had to drop out. Now i see the very scarce 9.99$ pack option where you can watch from a device but cannot cast onto a tv. The weirdest downgrades, 'good' quality vs 'best quality? Im not investing. Its an insult to watch a company hold back on 'quality' streaming for 10$ extra.
Cheap technology. Nonexistent service. A Canadian monopoly relying on American content to take your money
Won't let me log in half the time. Says there is an internet problem when there isn't. Driving me crazy!
We just called Crave as they automatically renewed our subscription in December, 2021. It is now January ( 1month later) and we noticed the charge of $209.71 on our credit card so called them and advised we no longer wanted their service. We were told they sent us a previous email through Bell in December advising us about the renewal which of course did not get. Therefore, due to the fact it is after renewal date now there is NO refund. Not a pro rata credit, not a penalty for cancelling a little late - no a full year subscription must be paid. Apparently the fine print in the original agreement notes this cancellation situation as well. In any event I will NEVER do business with Crave again nor would I ever recommend it to anyone else. Mel
Answer: I would not recommend getting CraveTV. Their customer support and technical support as well as quality is not upto the mark to compete with other service providers.
Answer: Because they only offer the absolute bare minimum for a streaming service, I suspect the ONLY reason it has lots of subscribers because crave seems to offer more rare shows, but for a bigger price mind you.
Answer: Not unless you want to rip all your hair out. Crave has serious streaming problems and mostly you cannot watch it. And if you can the sound is all tinny and canny.
Answer: Absolutely agreed. 100%. Also, they have the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Never give your payment information to ANY Bell Media company, because they will screw you. Contact the BBB to make a complaint.
Answer: You can't! In the settings online, there is an option, but it doesn't carry over to whatever streaming device you're using it with. Incompetent morons, owned and operated by Canada's leading internet service provider. And Bell Media wonder why people don't like them. My sister has a theory... that Bell keeps their website design backward and out of sync with current progress, so they have an excuse to charge you extra money for their incompetence.
