They don't offer free trials for a reason - the service is absolute crap. You get 720/1080 on all titles, no 4K content, and that's for a crazy price they charge. I wish there was HBO Max in Canada - but nope. UTorrent it is. Absolute crap.
It beggars belief. If you haven't experienced it you simply won't believe that it was possible for a large corporation to release an app this bad. I sometimes TA at a coding camp: this app is buggy in a way that would guarantee a failing grade for a student who submitted it as a project. Can't pause. Can't fast forward. Can't rewind. Half the time when resuming a show it starts at the beginning. Will be cancelling before the end of the free trial and finding another source for the shows I'm interested in. Setting up a proxy to spoof country of origin will be far less effort/hassle than trying to use this POS app.
I subscribed to Crave over a year ago. I had major surgery on June 7. They sent me a yearly renewal notice on June 14; I was not conscious of it. They charge my credit card against my will on June 24. A 10 day notice before tying you up for a full year. I chatted online, then called and offered to give me the courtesy to switch to a monthly subscription - they could keep a month, but I at least would get $200 back. Nope.
I missed the deadline by 18 hours.
They read me the terms and conditions and repeated that they did not give refunds and sent an email on the 14th. Like, I wish I had read it, you narcissistic, self-centered bastards.
They force you to have a credit card on file and then charge it against your will for 12 months. No one else does this. Have you ever experienced this with a confident, successful company like Apple, Netflix or any other streamer? Nope. You can get a refund within 24 hours of noticing the charge on your card. Crave forces you into a relationship you don't want and keeps your money after giving you less than 2 weeks' notice.
I wish you all the karma you deserve, bastards. F*** you.

As I sit here for the 5th night in a row watching the buffering wheel spin on a show I intended to watch Im beginning to think Ill start cutting myself every 2 minutes until my show starts. I dont need 13 reasons to do this, I need only one. Crave tv is terrible and will only allow you about 15 seconds of a show until it starts to freeze. Rot

Absolutely horrible UI Crave! Absolutely horrible. When watching any show, the connection constantly drops, the screen loader comes up and then refuses to reconnect to the streaming content. This forces me to go back out to the Home menu, search the show again and then start the stream again. So cumbersome.
The ONLY reason I keep Crave TV is to watch Game of Thrones (the final season). There are several good TV series and a few movies, but the poor interface really outweighs the content.
Hey Bell... Why did you get your developers to emulate software from 1996?
Customer care sucks big time. Trying to sign in became a surgery without anaesthetics, painful. We eventually gave up. My family are done with Crave.

Right in the middle of the program you are watching, it stops and gives you a loading error message. Every time. So not worth the money they charge. GOT is the only thing worth watching. I will cut it off as soon as that's done.
Was paying 20 dollars per month for a subscription and when I tried to change to the 9.99 version, none of my payments were accepted (neither debit or Mastercard). Very disappointing and when I contacted customer service he was unable to help.
They automatically renewed a year subscription to cave plus HBO. Called One week after to get refunded. They customer service rep was incredibly rude. Refused to refund. What a joke. $225 stolen by this retched company.
This is the worst site I've subscribed to, you could learn a lot from Netflix, the programming is fine but the actually viewing is full of problems, starting the shows and during them has way to many running problems, the whole thing was a rip off to say the least, then when you watch something they cut you off of the last season or two and try to make you pay more to view them from another site all together, very sad indeed. You won't get my money any more.
If you never have any problems with the app or never try to cancel your subscription, Crave TV has adequate programming but is pricier and worse than other streaming services. If you ever need customer support - you are screwed. Crave TV-Bell Media's customer support is absolutely terrible. I have never been subjected to such disrespectful, unhelpful and ultimately, ineffectual customer service in my life. Save your money.
No navigation tools at all (can't FF or RW) doesn't hold your place when leaving a show. Loses HD constantly (bad servers) and just a reason to lock content in Canada to bell. Do not waste your money.
Been trying to cancel this trash for days... almost got there...but they Sent me to the third site(sketchy site), asking for my credit card info and a "refundable" deposit, just to cancel my account I was signed into...that I have every right to do, without explanation...i guess I gotta get in touch with the bank to solve this scam
Seems like they have around 10-20 solid shows, only problem is they only display about 20 at a time. You have to click 'view more' to see the next 20 shows, and there seems to be about an 80% chance that the page will just freeze up and stop working once you've clicked 'view more'... I'm glad I figured this out during a free trial, I'd be much more upset about this if I was paying $10 a month just to have it not work properly.
I had a monthly subscription directly through crave... then switched to receiving Crave through my cable provider. Cancelled my subscription through the online link. Apparently it never registered and have been double billed for 3 months... $#*!e customer service... took several email exchanges and then a 20 minute phone call to cancel... and they will not credit for my double payment. BEWARE and watch your credit card statements for these crooks
We subscribed to the Crave without using the free trial. Unfortunately we became quite disappointed with how slow it is. The resolution quality of the series are low. The subtitles do not match the dialogues and the caption turns of randomly through out watching several times. We used the online chat and raised the issue and asked for refund after 24 hours of subscription. They were not helpful at all and they did not refund.
I would never suggest the Crave to anyone.
This streaming service is absolutely coconuts. I spent 100$ which to the humble working boy like myself is a lottttt of money. I don't mind the common advertisement once in a while but holy smokes. I get anywhere from 6-9 ads per 25 minutes episode of a show! Crave is so lucky they have so many goofy silly shows I love. Nuff said
I bought Fire TV stick and cannot get Crave to work. All of the other apps work except Crave. I have been in contact with their tech support and they keep saying it is a problem on my end. Really disappointed with Crave.
This $#*!ing company me and my gf tried to deactivate our account then it says the page is having an error so crave takes out the money today even tho the account said it was deactivated and they won't refund us so do your self a favor and stay away from this rip off of a company they are good for nothing they even hung up on my gf when she tried asking for a refund
Originally subscribed to get Letterkenny. Upgraded to get HBO etc. It keeps kicking us off and tonight we have been unable to reestablish our account. Typical Bell rip off. I trashed most of our bell services due to high costs for service coupled with a recent attempted cash grab. NETFLIX is MUCH better and is user friendly in comparison to this pathetic and overpriced service.

Answer: Because they only offer the absolute bare minimum for a streaming service, I suspect the ONLY reason it has lots of subscribers because crave seems to offer more rare shows, but for a bigger price mind you.
Answer: Not unless you want to rip all your hair out. Crave has serious streaming problems and mostly you cannot watch it. And if you can the sound is all tinny and canny.

Answer: You can't! In the settings online, there is an option, but it doesn't carry over to whatever streaming device you're using it with. Incompetent morons, owned and operated by Canada's leading internet service provider. And Bell Media wonder why people don't like them. My sister has a theory... that Bell keeps their website design backward and out of sync with current progress, so they have an excuse to charge you extra money for their incompetence.
