The overall reputation of the company is significantly tarnished by customer dissatisfaction, primarily due to high subscription costs and poor service quality. Customers frequently express frustration with the app's navigation, excessive advertisements, and limited content availability, particularly regarding language options and image quality. Additionally, complaints about customer service highlight issues with billing practices and a lack of timely support. While some users appreciate select programming, the prevailing sentiment suggests that many feel the service does not deliver value for money, leading to a strong inclination to cancel subscriptions.

It's awful. Selection is poor. Quality is poor constantly freezes, brings me to the home page or signs me out. Very frustrating
Crave sells physical gift cards, yet the part of the Crave website where you redeem gift cards has been BROKEN for eight months now. All gift cards are deemed "invalid" followed by "an unexpected error has occurred". All these customer service people do is try to get me to "troubleshoot" these so called solutions that never work, yet they continue to do so (even though they practically know my file by now) and it's to the point that it's the literal definition of insanity. Repeat the same things and expect a different result. They assume I'm dumb and don't know anything about clearing website data (because if it were just that, I wouldn't be contacting them, would I?!) and they don't listen when I tell them repeatedly that the problem is their damn website and that I do not have any problems with any other services and their websites. Two different devices across four different web browsers can't be wrong. All they do is "escalate to the L2 team" and redeem my gift card, only to repeat the next month. Now I've been waiting on their "L2 team" for almost three weeks. Absolute garbage of a service. If it weren't for HBO Max, I would never deal with this crap again.
Too overpriced for their small selection of content then add a lack of support, opened two tickets no response was received at all
Crave restricts service by IP address, which is extremely inaccurate. I live in Canada, I am physically inside Canadian borders, but because of my ISP's configuration my IP address appears to be in the US. I had to go back and forth with their tech support and answer the same questions over and over (I work in tech so I gave them all this info in the first e-mail) before they finally told me basically to change my internet provider. I said that's not possible, then I asked for a refund which was denied because they said I have to be in Canada.
I am so frustrated. I just wanted to spend one evening watching TV. Instead, I got to pay $20 to add to my stress and spend hours I don't have answering their frustrating messages. It's insulting. Don't waste your money.
Constantly failing to start on android. Absolute garbage app that needs immediate rework...
I find it really expensive for its quality, yes it has good movies and classics but it is really slow and I hate the fast forward method, feels so old and slow for its price. Crave should improve its interface because it has a lot of potential but Netflix it's still the best one in price-quality
Everytime I go to watch my show on my MacBook I get an error code of (these are numbers but this site has blocked them out) *******. I can barley get through 30 seconds of a show before I get this error and it won't play my show. I've tried several things to fix it and I'm not one to write a review but out of all my streaming services I'm extremely dissatisfied with crave. I will be cancelling my subscription after I'm done watching my show (I am able to watch on my Roku tv) but even with my tv I had issues. I would be watching my show then it told me to sign in again, so I did and it said my password was incorrect. I put my password in several more times as I know that's my password then I finally gave up and hit forget password and created a new one. For $#*!s and gigs I put my old password in as I'm creating a new one and it tells me I can't make my new password the same as my old one… so if the old one was my password why does it work. I don't know but overall very unimpressed.
Run away.
If your favorite show happens to be on Crave, get it directly from the production company.
Weekly crashes, subs randomly not applicable for some movies/shows, horrible menu.
Everyone else has evolved but this horrifying thing they call a service.
I actually really like Craves content but because I only have a cell phone that I cast to my Smart TV, no laptop, no tablet.that's it, 2 devices. Because of their No Cast policy for the first subscription I have to subscribe to the more expensive $20 subscription. Honestly, for me, with Netflix and cable (included in rent), it isn't worth it. I would 100% do the first plan at like $10+ dollars...not being able to cast to my first gen smart TV is BS.
I subscribed to CRAVE through Bell Canada when The Movie Network disappeared. Crave TV is awful. It won't load half the time and when it does it freezes. FF or RW is like pulling teeth it only has 720p and options to restart an episode are not available either. If you want to rewatch and episode you literally have to search for the program and find a season and the episode and play it. I am unsubscribing to Crave TV.
Pay 20 a Month for this janky service, unresponsive crap.
Somehow unlinked my account from my tv on its own and now won't display an activation code so I can Link it back up.
I hope a different provider picks up the rights to the shows I watch on crave, I would switch in a heartbeat.
The wuality on crave is 25% of what you get on hbo max. No hdr 720p. What a joke. Canada is always left out and has to get the small bits of left overs. Thanks bell media!
Brb getting a vpn
Been trying to cancel this trash for days... almost got there...but they Sent me to the third site(sketchy site), asking for my credit card info and a "refundable" deposit, just to cancel my account I was signed into...that I have every right to do, without explanation...i guess I gotta get in touch with the bank to solve this scam
This crave tv never work half the time every time we call customer services they never know whats the problem i pay for a service that doesn't work
Paid money for the subscription for it not to work, says error code when I try to play it on my tv. The worse site I encountered yet for problems
I cancelled my subscription yesterday even though I was still paid up till the 15th. When I cancelled, it said that I would still have crave until my subscription was up. Well today I clicked on crave and it said I needed to subscribe to crave to watch the channel. I phoned crave and they told me it wasn't working because of maybe an update. I have had crave for over a year now and I have never had to jump through hoops to access crave. They have now lost me as a customer for good.
App works a bit better on a laptop but over the PlayStation good luck. So many issues and crashes, makes you wonder whar you're payment for
They didn't offer a free trial so we bought it for a year(I know, stupid) but it was cheaper that way than per month IF we were to enjoy the shows/movies they offer. We had it for 2 months and decided it isn't worth it so we called to cancel and get remaining refund back…. Well they don't give refunds. So we have a useless service for the next 10 months rather than them paying us back $100~ remaining ….
Rarely puts on anything worth watching been crap since beginning of covid keep waiting for good movies week after week nothing waste of time and money only have it as bundle for hbo a couple of shows was way better when other movie channel was running before crave took over shameful how they rip us off dropping this crap frustrated
Answer: I would not recommend getting CraveTV. Their customer support and technical support as well as quality is not upto the mark to compete with other service providers.
Answer: Because they only offer the absolute bare minimum for a streaming service, I suspect the ONLY reason it has lots of subscribers because crave seems to offer more rare shows, but for a bigger price mind you.
Answer: Not unless you want to rip all your hair out. Crave has serious streaming problems and mostly you cannot watch it. And if you can the sound is all tinny and canny.
Answer: Absolutely agreed. 100%. Also, they have the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Never give your payment information to ANY Bell Media company, because they will screw you. Contact the BBB to make a complaint.
Answer: You can't! In the settings online, there is an option, but it doesn't carry over to whatever streaming device you're using it with. Incompetent morons, owned and operated by Canada's leading internet service provider. And Bell Media wonder why people don't like them. My sister has a theory... that Bell keeps their website design backward and out of sync with current progress, so they have an excuse to charge you extra money for their incompetence.
