Ordered item the middle of April. It was on backorder. Ok. I can live with that. Shipping date listed as May 6th. Middle of May, no item. Customer service offered 20% off next order. NEXT ORDER!? Are they nuts? Just spent 20 minutes on hold to find out they shipped item yesterday, June 10th. There was no email to notify me of shipment. Hope I don't have to return it, as the return service looks like a nightmare also. I will NEVER order from CWC again. Catalog makes everything look great. Poor quality and customer service and high prices for such low quality construction and fabrics will see the demise of this business. If I could rate Cold Water lower than one star, I would.
My parents are victims of fraudulent activity with this company. Apparently it is very easy for someone to open a credit card and make purchases. We filed a complaint with the company and received a letter today stating that my parents are still responsible for the purchases even though they did not make the purchases or open the account. They don't even have the account number only the last 4 digits that came with the bill. I am very dissapointed with this company for being so porous such that you can easily be a victim of Identity theft. Purchases were made in a store in Glen Burnie and my mom was not even in the country at the time. The company stated that they investigated the claims and found that she is still responsible for paying for this. 11/3/18
When I placed a final order with this company, they never notified me that it wouldn't be arriving. This is the second time that poor management has ruined this company. I am not confident that if they attempt a third resurrection that I would shop with them again.
I placed an order for 3 pairs of leggings. Ended up receiving someone else's order. Sat on hold for 65 minutes to talk to someone who told me to mail back the order, and she would ship out a new order of my leggings. The following week I received another wrong order. Repeated being on hold and talking to a rep. Long process of confusion and re-explaining with rep. Another trip to the post office to mail back this second package. I requested a refund because I didn't trust I would ever receive my leggings, and I was tired of going to the post office to correct mistakes made by CWC. I was told by rep that my refund needed to be "approved" first. What?! I still haven't received the refund and will need to take out a case with my bank regarding what I spent for merchandise never received.
I sent a email to the customer service asking for updates on my order from July 18th. I just wanted to see if it was ever going to be on its way. I then received an email stating that the whole order was cancelled. I didn't want to cancel my order. I just wanted an update on when if it was ever going to be shipped.
Last spring I placed a large order with Coldwater Creek (pre-Covid-19 lockdown). I received my order within about 10 days. Much to my disappointment, the items I ordered were not of a quality consistent with what I had paid for them... except for the items I bought on sale. Sizing among the items varied greatly, even though I ordered mostly the same sizes in everything. Returned about 8 of the 14 or more garments (some not returnable due to "final sale only") in two separate packages using the company's SurePost return labels. One package arrived for credit about 6 weeks later (I tracked it), but I had to call to get my credit processed. The other package stalled out in a town of about 15 miles away. Finally had to call to get that credit processed, too! Now I see that they closed shortly after I received my last credit. Feel lucky to have gotten it at this point! Goodbye and good riddance!
The first part of July I ordered pants, a necklace, a blouse and a colorful gauzy topper. The necklace and pants came but the pants were far too large. I returned them and quickly received a pair that fit. But no blouse or topper. Around the middle of August I called Customer service and was told that the blouse and topper would be mailed the next day and I would receive the 2 packages in 8 to 10 days. I told them that I bought the entire outfit to wear to my son's wedding on Sept 16. If I had known it would take so long, I would have shopped elsewhere. On September 11, I was still waiting. I called again and was told that the 2 items had been mailed earlier THAT day and to wait another 8-10 days. I will have to go shopping tomorrow if the pkgs dont arrive. The wedding will be in 2 days by then. Coldwater creek is not cheap. I will NEVER shop there again. Over 2 months to receive your purchases is just too long!
I have ordered from CWC for years and have been very happy. No more! I returned merchandise using their label. I have made numerous calls (always to their call center in the Philippines) and have gotten runaround after runaround. First they tried to tell me they never received my return. I then gave them the delivery info from the tracking. They STILL gave me a runaround. Call after call, excuse after excuse trying to put me off. I read others comments about never getting their refunds. I finally filed a dispute with my credit card who will fight it out with them. I called again tonight just for laughs and giggles and was again put off with the rep telling me to give it more time. They received my merchandise in Indiana on May 27th. It is now June 16th. Please people, save yourself the grief! It is no longer the CWC it used to be. I read it was bought by some Hong Kong company. There are other more reputable places to do business with!
5 weeks ago, I placed my first order with Coldwater Creek. Two weeks later, I contacted them because I had not received the item, nor any information on when it would ship. I was told the jacket I had ordered was on backorder, and would ship "in early September". Well, it's September 19th, and I still haven't received the jacket, nor any information on when (if?) it would ship. I have canceled the order and will not be doing business with this poorly-run company again.
As I wrote previously, I had order over $200.00 worth of items from this company and never received it. I went through weeks of calling them and having the customer reps say that it was fed-ex problem and they couldnt do anything about it. I personally talked to some amazingly helpful Fed-Eex people who told me what had happened to my package. When Fed ex received the package it was empty, had no contents. They told me I needed to notify CCC. But, when I talked to CCC they treated me like an idiot and had no avenue for me to get any one on the phone who had the power to investigate the matter. In the end, I had to have a lawyer write them a letter threatening a lawsuit. When they got the letter what do you knowsomeone who had the actual power to do something called me and gave me a refund. So for all my time and effort I did get my money back. What a hassle. I have never had this bad of an online shopping experience.
If i didn't have to give thr company any stars to write a teview i would. I purchased 6 items on cold water Creek website on 3/20/22 for an upcoming vacation at the end of April. I received a confirmation of the order but no shopping info. I called Customer Service on 4/3/22. I was reassured the items were in stovk and would be shipping out from the warehouse the wrek of 4/11/22. On 4/10/22 i contacted customer service to verify the items were going to ship. I was told 5 of the 6 items were cancelled as they were no longer in stock. I never received any e-mail that the order was cancelled. This website should br shut down. There customer service is poor and the pfoducts being advertised are not available. If you are shopping for an up and coming event do not expect that you will get it from here.
I paid $25 for overnight delivery. I received an email that delivery would be 5 days later. The reason was that it is overnight delivery after the order is processed. So I requested to cancel the order. I was told I couldn't cancel because the order had already processed.
I had no idea any item on sale with. 97 ending price is not returnable. So this shirt does not fit and looks nothing like online and I have to give it to Goodwill. This brand used to be excellent. Everything fit and customer service was wonderful. No more. They are just like all the other scammers online. We have a store close to my house and I thought I could return it there if it didn't fit. NO RETURNS TO STORE FOR MERCHANDISE ORDERED ONLINE. Wow, they really know how to treat their customers. That's the end of my shopping at Coldwater Creek.
Horrible company! I ordered a jogger top and bottom ($178.00) on December 19th, 2021. Every time I check the shipping status, it gets pushed back a week. Currently the site says it will ship on January 10th. I called customer service, to find out the items are backordered. My simple question "Why list clothes on your website as 'in stock' when they are NOT?" I asked customer service to cancel my order, she told me it can't be done. IT CAN'T BE CANCELLED! What a bull$#*! situation. If you order from this company you must be stupid. Yes, I was STUPID! NEVER again.
I received a wrong item in the order. So I promptly returned it properly. This was October 2nd 2021 and now Iam trying to trace it and it says no record of the order can be found so now Iam out 50 dollars. Ill try to dispute with my charge card. I dont know how to upload proof of purchase or I would.
I ordered a dress in May from a catalogue with a source code of CA8BUD1075 and received a return message thanking me as well as a ship date of June 24,2018.
Then, the order tracking no longer showed the CC tracking. Nothing but a message on the website that customers need to call regarding orders made prior to June 15.
Two charges appeared on my checking account making it appear that I was charged twice.
I called and was told that one of the charges would be removed and verified that it was. Because one charge remained on my bank account, I called for shipping information. I was told that they had no shipping information because the item is on backorder!
So, no dress, no shipping info on the dress, charged for the dress. I placed the order on May 21,2018.
If there was a "system upgrade", someone planned it very well for CC: get the customer's $ and don't send the goods!
I purchsed a vest as a christmas gift for my friend. A day after ordering I sent an email asking since it is a gift to keep the invoice /pricetag off the purchase. I received an email with an explanation they don't do gifts. I called them to find out that the rep was sitting outside the US telling me they don't do gifts and it is too late cancel now...1st and last time I will order anything from them ever again.

I had purchased two bras, but after under going breast cancer surgery, I could not wear them. They have never been worn, still in the package with the tags still on, but because the order was over 90 days, they would not consider a return. It wasn't as though I purposely hung onto them or forgot about them; I had hoped I could wear them, but after completion of my cancer treatment it was obvious I wouldn't be able to. I was willing to consider a credit on future purchases, but was not offered one. I won't be ordering from Coldwater Creek in the future and from reading the other reviews it appears others have had problems too and Coldwater Creek is not a good company to be doing business with. I hope this information and my experience is helpful to others. I will pass my experience on to others.
On October 24,2019, I purchased a coat from Coldwater Creek. After several delays, the coat finally shipped -- but was returned to Coldwater because their shipping department failed to enter my address correctly. I NEVER RECEIVED THE COAT. It has been one month and Coldwater has still not refunded my money. My next step is to have my attorney contact them. Buyer be aware and beware!
I ordered a sweater on May 2nd. I've been trying to track my order since June 15th. I finally spoke with someone on June 17th who agreed to reorder the item and said it would arrive on Monday, June 21st. I called on Monday evening and couldn't get through. I received an email from UPS stating the item would be delivered Tuesday, June 22nd. Still no delivery and the cold water Creek website is frozen! Never, never again will I order anything from them.

Answer: Hiya Jane, Give their customer service a call, the number should be in your confirmation email (don't try to find it on their website). Customer service will then send you 2 emails, one is a shipping label. Do include your orginal shipping insert (take a pic of it) with the return items highlighted along with the Return Form filled out with the SKU/Style of each item you are returning. Best of luck
