We've used citizenshipper a half dozen times to transport dogs and pups. Some of the drivers were excellent communicators, others, not so much. It's hard to 'do research' exactly - you are pretty much restricted to the reviews and profiles on the citizenshipper website and your gut feelings.
I love citizenshipper.com! This site has taken the guess work out of this line of work. Instead of waiting for one of my private contacts to send a customer my way, I can look for jobs AND I can decide where I want to go!
Diligent and kept in touch though out journey. We definitely recommend them. They obviously loves animals. ‘Paw' some animal transportation.
Larry Van Dyk, a citizen shipper, picked up my cat, Lucy, from WSU veterinary hospital after her cancer radiation therapy (poor thing!) and brought her home to us. Without Larry we would have had to drive 7 hours each way to and from the hospital which we did when we took her there. Didn't want to do that again! Lucy arrived home in her crate just fine, except, of course, for the radiation after effects. Not a pretty picture! Larry was great! I highly recommend him. I love working with Citizenshipper! I meet people from all over and get the chance to deliver their new and sometimes already well- loved animals to them. The only thing that I would say to keep in mind as a consumer looking for pet transport, would be that CS has their own fee separate from what your bid is. That and not always is the lowest bid the best. Sometimes, it's okay, just read the reviews of the shipper. I know as a legitimate Pet Transport small business owner, it makes ALL the difference in the world how these precious animals are treated during their journey.
In a time of uncertainty, especially when it comes to work and money, citizenshipper came through to save the day! I signed up to be a driver less than a month ago and already I've earned over 2,000 dollars transporting pets across the country! It's been an incredible way to see the country AND get paid for it! Not to mention, I've been able to hang out with the most awesome, sweetest, and cutest pets ever! If you are needing to transport ANYTHING across the country, citizenshipper is the way to go!
Citizen shipper let my dog get stolen by chase miller with m&m family transportation. I have emailed them 6 times and have no response from any customer service. I Payed a deposit of $150 and they picked up my dog June 5th and today is the 16th and I don't have my dog and I don't think I will have him any time soon. My driver has disconnected all there phone numbers, CitizenShipper has blocked me on Facebook and Instagram for messaging them asking where my dog was. They are all a bunch of scam artist. I have no clue how people are able to run a business based of stealing people's money. They need to be shut down ASAP!
Used them to transport our puppy from Va to Ct. Our driver Scott was very good with the puppy. He text me pictures and updates along the way. I would highly recommend them.
So lucky I ran across this site, and the driver, was the best ever! If you need a service, this one is fantastic, and my driver was tremendous. Sent me pics & videos every day. Just a great experience!

We had a great experience finding a driver to take your new puppy from TN to MA.
We had 10 quotes within a few hours that all had reviews and were very easy comminucate with. I would definitely use this service again.

I don't have enough good things to say about this company. I wasn't able to get her myself, and had been trying to get her back to us, but everything was so expensive. Our driver Marc was in contact with us the whole time and even arrived early! We couldn't be happier! Definitely use citizenshipper.

It sounds like a very frustrating situation. I checked back in our files to get some clarity about the situation. While none of us wants to think of our beloved pets being stolen, I did not see any resolution to the situation that you describe here. I would love to think that the dog and owner have been reunited. The customer support team has spent considerable effort responding to this complaint and offering as much assistance as we are capable of. I would like to clarify that Chase from M&M is the one who picked up your dog, not CitizenShipper as we do not operate any vehicles for transport of any items. The entire team has been upset over the situation and it is, luckily, rare in my experience. Sadly, some people will operate scams on anything, and while we do our best to filter out dishonest people from our site, not even the most comprehensive background check will uncover everything. CitizenShipper can only refund you money you have paid us, as the drivers are independent contractors and not under our control. This is clearly stated on our site and in our literature. If you have any more information about the situation, please share it in hopes that a resolution can be found.
