Very bad experience, do not trust the reviews. Company allows dishonest and dangerous people to work for them as drivers. Our driver lied constantly, never updated us about the progress of the transport, put our cats with dogs in a tiny van even after i specifically asked if there would be other pets. Worst of all, our cats weren't fed or watered properly over the course of 4 days and both have lost a few pounds. After contacting Citizenshipper about this, nothing was done, the driver is still allowed to work for them. I want to warn other pet owners, do not fall for reviews and please try to find a different way to ship your pets. The drivers name is Donald Wells with TCE Xpress

ThIs company post fraudulent reviews, please beware when deciding to use citizenshiper as they will not let you post an honest/low review. I did numerous reviews on pet carrier services but ultimately chose CitizenShipper because of the company reviews. I felt confident that my dog would be transported with no issues, so I paid the deposit, spoke with my carrier on numerous occasions, and confirmed my trip through follow-up messages. I received a cancellation from my carrier on the evening before my shipment, which was a Friday night. My military move, flight arrangements, and children school attendance was ruined by the carrier. There is no customer service phone number to speak with anyone, so there is no immediate remedy other than resubmit a new shipment, pay and, hope that you get a forthright carrier. There is only email, which doesn't help a one day deadline. In my case, The driver used an excuse stating that her vehicle was being repaired. However, her profile shows her making a delivery within the same time frame. Its apparent that she wanted to move my appointment around to make more money. After a very tormented and agonizing experience with this company, I wrote a review which I noticed wasn't posted. When I asked (in an email) what happened to my review. I was told that since the carrier notified me, it didn't count against her. I don't get a chance to post a review. I thought that was the most unprofessional and insensitive thing I had ever heard being that my shipment was canceled on extremely short notice with no way to recover. I explained to the company that since I'm not able to post an honest review, then I will use other platforms to warn innocent people of citizen's misleading practices.

One of the absolute worst experiences I have ever had with a company transporting a pet!

She arrived 10 days later, malnourished, sick with a cold and stomach - She had to go on antibiotics. You dropped her off with a crate not even containing a wee pad at 4am!
She was full of urine!
You left her without enough food
Barely communicated and lied about your whereabouts everyday to both the breeder and myself
You endangered her well being not to mention how skiddish she is as a result of that experience under your care!
I was told"- " Wait my Turn"
I paid for the services- The travel time was at max supposed to be 5-6 days - not 10. She only had enough food for 6 days. She arrived so hungry and sick...
Citizens shippers went unresponsive to calls and emails, where I Pleaded for intervention with this woman driver who drove her through literally 12 states so she could keep getting more animals. This conduct was apparently okay with you CitizenShippers?
It was all about money, not the well-being of pets?
I do not recommend this company, and or the driver mentioned.

The process to choose a driver is so easy they have many different profiles for your needs. The lady that i chose delivered my pet via DRIVE from Texas to North Carolina. I loved her services. She offered many pictures and gps tracking along the way. There were some delays along the way and she communicated well but she managed to pick him up EARLY and deliver him ON TIME. Also there is competitive bidding soo you're able to choose the cheapest option. So if you're looking for an alternative to flying your pet this is the way to go.

I had been having much difficulty finding a mover to transport my furniture across the country from the east coast to the mountains in the west. After an unsuccessful week of exhaustive searching, I took the advice of the individual from whom I had purchased the furniture and posted my listing on Citizenshipper. Within a few minutes, I already had a reasonable bid for the transport, and the process from there on out was seamless! It was exceptionally helpful that I could read all of the reviews of my mover from previous customers, which made me feel much more confident in the booking. The only criticism I have of the website is that it is not immediately apparent that a 20% booking fee is added to the cost of the bid that is accepted. This is different from UShip, which incorporates the 20% booking fee into the total bid. Other than that, I am thankful to Citizenshipper for connecting me with an outstanding mover!

Used Citizen Shipper to get quotes for our new puppy to travel from Ma to GA. I was able to receive several reasonable quotes from what seemed like reputable pet curriers. Best to ask a lot of questions on process/ time/ route etc before making a decision. But loved that I had choices! I had to change my date a few times and each time received new bids for the job. Would absolutely use CitizenShipper again. My puppy arrived safely and in the time give ln with lots of communication along the way. So easy and user friendly.
