I have lost a package worth more than 300 dollars, and they offer no help or compensation for losing it, they just shrugged and said: welp, its not with us, sorry and good luck.
And reading other reviews, its not one time incident, they have been losing packages left and right.

So in the end, ordering from them is a gamble, you might or might not get you package lost.

I was a loyal customer for more than 3 years, and it all went down hill a year ago with a change in management I believe. First, their customer support became really bad, no answers or replies for days and when they do reply they are mostly useless.

But now they start losing packages, I ordered a google pixel watch 2 from amazon to be shipped to their warehouse, which showed that it arrived and signed off in amazon tracking. Only for it to never showing, and after 3 MONTHS of going back and forth with them, they just blamed it on amazon and TOLD ME TO FIGURE IT OUT WITH THEM. Which of course didn't work cause amazon have a no protection policy against shipment forwarders, and GS stopped replying to me.

So tl;dr If you don't want to risk your 300+ dollars shipment disappearing without a trace or help, STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY

Edit: they just replied to me with the same non helpful generic responses they have been telling me for months, it shows how much they care.

I have to say this is one of the best and cheapest forwarding service available, the only downside I have to say is when choosing Aramex to ship it can take a while in comparison to other package services.

The worst forwarding service! Do not use them. They lost packages for me and never refunded me, after paying the shipping fees for the packages, they wait more than 9 days and still not shipped, i contact them everyday and they keep lying. And their customer service is terrible, they reply after 30 mins then if you dont reply within 2 mins the end the conversation.

It's reputation of losing shipment

I would not encourage any one to deal with them because a package of mine was missing and was lost

Platform and website is excellent, and pricing seems reasonable honestly but what is the point where there is a good change you may lose your shipment or it gets lost and you wouldn't get your money back.

So there is a risk involvement and I found some others have had the same issue in which they lost one of their shipments, otherwise I would recommend it

After my initial encounter, in which I gave a 5-star review, Shopaholics have gone downhill to a hell hole. The initial review would have just reflected one person on their team (the rest of them are useless and worse than non-helpful) who made it worthwhile to do business with them. I still applaud him for his excellence and beyond-expectation type of customer-oriented service.

The following 2 to 3 orders were garbage holes and dumpster-like service (or a lack of a better phrase for non-existent customer service). I tried to contact them via their live chat, but no one answered. I emailed them, but there was no reply until 20-odd days later, and I still took no action to solve my problem. Starting to lose my patience, I contacted them every day on WhatsApp. I got a one-time reply saying, "Okay, I'll look into it," and then, just like their non-existent email correspondence, she disappeared. Not a single update in any methods that I attempted to contact them to look for an order.

Likely because that order required them to do some work, but I was to pay for the $5 processing fee to help me make 1 item for return. Global Shopoholics totally lost track of the order. I followed their instructions to upload a return for 1 item as part of a larger order, informed them in their system, and then the whole process came to a halt. There's a 30-day return policy for that one particular item, but the team just let that package sit along with the rest of the products for my next shipment. The web interface was limited on what you can search, and finding someone to locate the order was next to impossible!

Funnily enough (not really), whoever half-assed answered me or replied when they felt like it just let those 30 days slip by. The package was queued in their system to be returned (as I did what I could). So no idea what happened to that package. My following shipment did not contain that "to be returned" item. What got me mad was a few days later, I received a friendly email (automated) from them that the package was to be destroyed when I made a request 30 days earlier for the return of that item.

I will never forget how they charged $5 to my account, so it became frozen until I paid for that "extra" (lack of) service.

Unfortunately, I still had a few items to consolidate to be mailed out to me, which meant I needed to clear up that negative balance before they would do anything. Otherwise, all items will be "destroyed".

The challenge in trying to clear that -$5 was that you could not pay by PayPal or a regular card. Their system required your credit card to be authorized. They do this in the dumbest way possible. They charge your credit card for a couple of dollars, and you have to confirm in their system how much they charged you. And you had to do this twice each time.

Well, my credit card shows the amount in Canadian dollars. Even using currency exchange rate, etc, would not have allowed me to type in their "expected" random dollar amounts in an exact amount. They did not forewarn about that. I kept trying like 4 times. This means they just randomly deducted 8 x a couple of bucks from my account, and the -$5 amount still would not clear. And when it's not clear, you can't pay for your shipment using PayPal or a regular credit card.

For whatever the f--ing reason, they needed to verify your card. Such scammers! And don't even try to make a long-distance call to them if you're outside the USA. They put you on hold and pretend they understand your problem, or perhaps they cannot really understand how to do their jobs properly.

Worse off, they first encouraged customers to write a review, and Global Shopaholics will give your account a $5 credit. Regardless of what incentive, I wrote my first review because of that one staff who was extremely helpful. Anyway, the promise of that credit would have easily balanced out the -$5 amount that was forcibly charged to me (for that one and only time I made a return request, only to be lost to nowhere, finding the rest of the team clueless as to what I am requesting of them to do; and get this friendly, automated email informing me they are going to destroy that product; never mentioned it was in the queue and past the date of the return).

And when I asked them about those 8 random charges, they never apologized for it. Never got the money back.

No service. Ghosting on customers. Losing customer's products. Charging amounts for services not delivered. Pretty much sums up the rest of the scums and the workings of the company.

Stay away!

Honestly. Three times of horrible services after 1 initial good transaction. Not worth your headaches, money or time.

I've so far placed two consolidated orders to be shipped to Canada via Global Shopaholics. The team was great at gathering my purchases and informing me when each other arrived. The platform provided straight forward instructions as to how to declare the items for customs to the destination country. In my case, it was bound for Canada.

During my first order, I was surprised to get an email from a staff member (and not a generic email) who raised a genuine concerns regarding the courier that I had chosen. He privately explained the reasons and helped me navigate for a better option. He was very professional as he explained the past experiences and did not push me to select one delivery option over another, but gave me time to make an informed choice. This exceeded my expectations and I am very thankful for the unique experience (as they scanned through the orders and picked up anything that may have better options that are unknown to the consumer).

Since that experience, I have confidence in Global Shopaholics. The second order sent to me in Canada arrived without any problems.Now, I'm getting ready for my third order to be shipped. Must compliment on the ease of use in their user interface on the web.

One area of suggestion for improvement is the return/refund option. In my second order, I had two items that needed to be returned to the seller. I provided the mailing label into the system, as instructed. It was a free service that Global Shopaholics was providing for me. However, near the 30 day return window, I checked and found that the seller had not receive the return parcel. I frantically contacted Global Shopaholics (to the staff who helped me before). He tried to look for the order for me, at the same time, I received a mixed message from another customer service representative and an automatic email saying my parcel is near its end of storage and will be destroyed soon. Somehow, something got missed in the instructions for returning/refunding an item.It shouldn't have been complicated.

However, the gentlemen who helped me the first time did step himself to look for the item, made sure it got sent back to the seller within a tight deadline, and contacted the seller on my behalf. He really went above and beyond to help a regular customer like me, but the efforts that he made gives me the confidence to use Global Shopaholics' services again. It was just confusing when I received conflicting messages from customer support where she passed it on to someone else, and then got a turnaround email saying my package would be destroyed. That process could use some streamlining or improvements.

Otherwise, the gentleman that helped me both times would be very busy doing things all on his own. But I thank him, very greatly, and appreciate him going above an beyond to make sure the customer's needs are met. Thank you if you are reading this!

Very professional and attentive team members to meet the specific needs of customers under various circumstances (potential problem with a courier to my home country, or returning of a product in the US on my behalf). The team does a good job.
