I made a reservation for a reasonable price marked on their site as "in process". In couple of days I got an email saying that I need to contact them regarding the reservation. I called immediately to learn that on my return flight I have 2 stops instead of one, as it was on the original reservation. The person on the phone was quite rude and tried to make unclear reasoning for the situation. Fortunately, my wife red the online review and I cancelled the order. I do NOT recommend this company. My advise is "STAY AWAY"!
I purchased 4 ticket and received confirmation, they got all my information and send me a fake confirmation. The next day I got a call that that fair is not available and try to convince me that it is high season and the only thing they have for me is about 4 times higher. Now my concern is that if this people are really in business of travel.
Total SCAM! They advertise the tickets for a lower price, and after purchasing the tickets and giving you a reference number that is legit, they will call you saying the airline (United, in this case)is fully booked and you need to purchase a ticket on a different flight. But for double the price. I called United just to confirm if that was true, and they said to stay clear of cheapest fares website. They are total scammers, bait you into buying a cheaper ticket only to call you back like a thousand times, trying to get more money. Never again, lesson learnt!
Horrible, Horrible, Horrible Bunch of crooks! I would give them a Minus 10 if I was able. Bait and switch out-of-USA frauds! Stay away!.
So booked tickets for cheap price, emailed me the next day asking me to contact them, which I did. Told me the price had gone up as the flight was overbooked (I think - really hard to inderstand the Indian accent, which should have been the red flag). Anyways, the price overall was still cheaper, so said OK.
When I saw the credit card, the original price was paid to Air Europa (matched the original price, confirmed on Delta's ticket receipt) and another credit card went to ACR (assuming this is the "parent" company of CBF). Yeah, they scammed me for some money, but my flights still cheaper than going through Delta.
I wonder if ACR also does vent cleaning services...
I booked a flight online, received a confirmation code and used it to go onto Delta's site to successfully choose my seats. Then I received a call from Cheapbest saying I wouldn't be allowed to board if I didn't pay twice as much as I was paying. They said it wasn't confirmed (I had a Delta confirmation number and Delta they let me choose seats on their site). I asked what a confirmation number meant and they said it was a "dummy confirmation". I was the dummy to trust them. I spoke with several "supervisors" and got the same story. I wouldn't pay the additional amount and they cancelled the ticket. They said the price that I purchased was a "glitch". The old bait and switch and outright fraud. Stay clear of them. I'm filing a complaint with the attorney general's office, Delta Airlines, and anyone else I can find.
Just like all the other customers they sell me a ticket and call 24 hours later and try to tell me the fare is no longer available and will be 3 times the price. They are in India not Chicago
So I looked on this website for cheap tickets because it popped up put my card info email and phone in I'm on the phone with USAA but they haven't charged me yet so I'm waiting until it will show up so USAA can block report and try to stop this website from doing this the only good reviews they have are from people who are not well spoken and if you read them you will see what I mean. Any how please for you safety just report this website if you have it open and do not use it now they have my card email and phone and they keep trying to call me and sign a document for my refund because I asked for one but I'm letting my bank handle it and I'm not answering when they call! Do not use this website please I am so stressed trying to move now I need a new card aswell this is terrible timing and I hope this site gets taken down now!
I "purchased" three adult tickets for a relatively good price; however, i never received any confirmation of the flight. I received a phone call from a man named Neil saying there were not anymore seats on the flight for economy, but for an extra $400 we could upgrade to business class. Neil was hard to understand and i am hoping they cancel the plan, but they have my credit card information. I would very highly recommend you not use cheap best fares as it seems almost like a scam (and could very well be). Be cautious with these people if you decide to use them.
I am giving TED Miller 5/5 Stars! He has been very courteous on the phone and very willing to assist me with my request. I asked him to please get me a much lower price for flight to Honolulu than what he quoted me first since this is my first time to book a flight with your agency and TED did just that! Absolutely wonderful!
There needs to be a lot more price transparency on the site. Alluding to cheaper fares when you're going to turn around and charge the same amount as booking through the airline is misleading. When I asked if this could be remedied at all, I was told this is just how it is and to avoid merchant fee. Frank blew up my phone and e-mail multiple times a day as my bank had an issuing thinking this was a fraudulent charge- I was beginning to think that to. Seems like my tickets are in order now but I still feel scammed and will not be recommending this service to anyone. I will go out of my way to tell my friends and family to avoid Cheap Best Fares at all costs.
Our flights from John F. Kennedy were changed by the airline. Airline canceled the nonstop flight and gave us 1 layover. When we were in NYC and saw the airline had changed our nonstop flight, I called Cheapbestfares and spoke to Ted Miller; he was able to get us on that nonstop flight right away with no hassle or additional fees. Ted didn't even put me on hold for a single moment, and he even called me back after confirming it with airline. Would use again!
This company is a scam. I booked two tickets to Houston on 4/28/2022. The next day they called saying the flight was overbooked for "basic" and I needed to upgrade to "cabin". They demanded twice the amount saying they were giving me a deep discount. Untrue, it was more than the price I could find on Delta's website. Second, they told me that I could only have assigned seats it I went with cabin seats. That is a lie because I set up seats right afterwards through Delta's site. These crooks then cancelled my flights through Delta. Stay away from this site! I am reporting them.
Awful. They emailed me a week after I booked with them and asked for an additional $280.00 for the flight. I had to rebook with another company and spent more. Very hard to understand on the phone as well. Terrible. Never again. Live and learn...
This company has horrible communication and service I booked a flight with them yesterday they send an email when the confirmation number and I called to speak with someone and they sent an Email the next morning asking me to call them so I called and they told me the flight was booked and the next one was 500 something odd dollars and I would have to pay the difference and they could not do anything for me. This is bad customer service because if the flight was booked why would y'all still have the flight still there if it was full and then to tell someone it's nothing you can do on behalf of your inconvenience to a person is the lowest of the low set skilled for customer service and I feel like something need to do where people can be accommodated on behalf of y'all error.and they do not need any stars
Be very careful! Do not book through this company. I have been reading the reviews and the same thing happened to me. I booked a flight last night and they haven't charged me, they called me and left a message, now they want me to call to confirm the flight, same story, I just willl call my bank right now to cancel this transaction just to make sure they can't to anything with may card m.
I don't know why Google don't stop this SCAM
I was quoted then booked a flight at $2093. 00 for 5 people which comes to about $418.60/person. My reservation was cancelled, then 2 days later I get an email asking to call their customer support. The gentleman tried telling me that NO airline will accommodate 5 people flying together, he then proceeded to tell me the best he could do is get me tickets on the same day departure and return flights for $670/person! You decide for yourself.
Bait and switch times two. This company should not be in business. They advertise a low fare, you book it, they send you a confirmation and an hour later they (from India) call to say the fare has gone up and ask for authorization to pay the additional amount. In my case, it was almost double the advertised price. My wife had an almost identical experience a few hours earlier. The rep called her and said the fare had increased from $348 to $1100 but that they would cut "her a deal" and offered her the one way ticket for $550. We both ended up purchasing our tickets through the official airline site paying more than the advertised cheapfare.com price but less than their scammed price. My advice: DO NOT, under any circumstance, use this company to purchase an airline ticket. They are a complete scam and should not be trusted.
This website is a huge scam! They try to get you on there "amazing prices" but it's a total scam and is not a thing. Don't ever book your flights with this company they will steal all of your information and scam you. The scammers are the ones that write the good reviews.
FRAUD!
FRAUD! Do not trust the 4 star rating through Trust Pilot. I was debating about buying straight from the airline or Cheapbestfares. Saving about $80 a ticket I decided to take a chance and book through CBF. BIG MISTAKE! I got a confirmation email with my booking. My Delta account also added the fight to my account. The next morning flights went up double. I was relieved that I had booked my tickets before the price increase. A few hours later I got a message from CBF saying that my reservation as on hold to call asap. I called and was on hold for over an hour when I had to end the call without talking to anyone. When I did get a hold of a person the next day they said there was no more seats available that I needed upgrade my seat for triple the price. I then contacted Delta in which they said this was untrue. They were just waiting for CBF to confirm on their end and they could issue the ticket. CBF would not acknowledge what Delta told me. They finally said the prices went up and they would no longer honor the pricing they gave me. The only way to keep this reservation is upgrade my seat. I could not pay the upgraded price so they canceled my booking and I was not able purchase tickets since the price increased well beyond my budget. If you decide to book through this company plan on paying double the price the next day. They are not to be trusted!
Answer: I found very attractive flight price for my family for xmas break to Europe thru CheapBestFares. We received confirmation number, as well booking locators for the airliners. Everything seemed nice and smooth. The following day we received an email, and a phone call to let us know that the Airline did not approve the discount, and CheapBestFares offered a new itinerary with better discount with another carrier, what we accepted. However, they pressure you to get the payment right away on their payment link. We did pay the amount, no big deal. Few days later, another call from CheatBestFares to let us know that the ticket is not confirmed with the new airliner, and they working on it, and it should be resolved with no issue. 5 days passed since the payment was made and shown in the bank account, with every day phone and promises to be fine asking us to be patient and allow them few hours, a day, and the last one was asking for 24 hours to resolve. This is the sixth day, they finally telling us, they can't get the tickets and they will fully refund us. CheapBestFares was not able to explain why the credit card was charged (not pending) without confirming the tickets. Meanwhile, the prices for same itinerary are almost double within a week. We will have to buy new tickets all over with almost double the price. From this bad experience, I personally will sue them for fraud, and ask for compensation, dispute the amount as fraudulent with our bank, as well as block our credit card. We believe CheapBestFares is gathering credit card info, and using the money (few days investment), making profit, then refunding the money without paying the interests for a week "Loan". Now, you make your own judgment.
