Company needs to be shut down

This company should be shut down and the owners should probably serve some time in prison. They defraud customers, either send no animal, sick dying ones, or dead ones. They make much of their money on cancelations charging 20%. If they are telling you that just call your bank and dispute the transaction. You will get your money back and the more that people do this and report them too the BBB the more likely they will be closed permanently. Honestly think the feds or cops should be involved and these "people" should rot in prison for the rest of their natural lives.

No Communication

When dealing with live animals, one would think communication is key to ensure receiving party is ready. I placed an order on Sunday. Money came out of bank account on Monday morning. I expected some rmail or text update by now with shipping tacking info. Based on their shipping chart online. I've received nothing. I've texted, emailed, called and reached out to them on social media. They have time to post animals on FB and Instagram, but can't respond to customer inquiries?! I've left comments on both social media platforms only to be deleted. I now have to file a dispute with my bank because I've lost all faith in their service. If I can't get in touch with them through the ordering process, leave me no hope that they will support with an potential issues post shipping. This says they don't care about customers nor the animals. DO NOT BUY from them!

Payment issues
April 9, 2021

Just bought a leopard gecko that's still processing. Hasn't even showed up yet so hope that goes ok but they charged me 3 EXTRA TIMES on top of the original payment thats already gone through. Been trying to get into contact for 3 days with no luck. This review is to get them to contact me more than anything as I am very fed up that I have $690 out of my account on top of the $230 that already went through for the reptile. Getting very fed up.

I ordered a panther chameleon and after a week and nothing i called them and the man told me they was waiting because wasn't old enough yet and the following week would be shipped. And the following Thursday i got the text and email it had been shipped and got it Friday. Happy n healthy

I ordered a Blue Male Axanthic Iguana. I received a female. They deleted my fb comment and blocked me. Their customers service 24 email response is a joke. I simply asked to correct the problem and they stopped responding. Apparently you will never know what sex you will get.
It says in their small fine print somewhere. That is extremely unprofessional as well as their customer service. If you cannot order a specific male or female then there should not be an option and it should say that upon ordering! I feel like I got scammed and they're advertisements of what they're actually shipping out does not look like what they are broadcasting! They say they're shipping is 24 hours and overnight although I ordered on a Friday my order did not come until Wednesday and I tried to reach someone to figure out what was going on in between and could not get a response. I got an email on Wednesday the day it arrived. After they realize that I was not happy about receiving a female they told me it was in their policy statement and just began to ignore me. You cannot reach anyone who runs this page specifically it seems and they cannot show you what exactly they're shipping out there is some really shady business right there!

Overall I'm 150% satisfied with CBReptiles! Their customer service is on point they answered me on both Facebook and Email which means all the world to me! And their product is amazing! I really couldn't be happier, I ordered 2 Leopard Geckos a hatchling Tug Snow Morph and a Juvenile Blizzard Morph, I ordered them Saturday afternoon and they were processed Monday and arrived Tuesday at 9AM! That's fire man! They were both happy and both appeared healthy & I'm really really looking forward to my next transaction with CBReptiles! I think I'm going to grab either a Dalmatian Crested Gecko or a Chocolate Harlequin Crested Gecko or maybe even both! Thanks again CBReptile!

They're legit

I ordered a crested gecko from cb reptile who unfortunately didn't make the trip, so I reached out to them and they reached back to me fast and my I explained the situation and they were able to work with me and send me a new reptile that came in alive, 100 percent healthy and is thriving! I would definitely recommend and I will definitely be ordering from them again! Get your critters with cbreptiles!

I spend 330$ on a tegu. For two whole months they led me on telling me that they would send him next week. Next week, next week. Over and over again. Once month two hit, after holding onto my 330$ they finally told me that the order could not be fufilled and they would be issuing a refund. I went to their website and it said all of their tegus were sold out. So they sold all of them, mailed them out to customers, and just forgot about me. After I had gotten my family so excited for our new tegu, I now had to tell them we weren't getting one. Crappiest reptile store I have EVER purchased from. What a PATHETIC excuse for a company! They need to be shut down!

Go Elsewhere

So I was looking into getting another Leopard Gecko, CB reptiles was first to pop up. I seen they had some geckos that interested me, so I went ahead and purchased one. After a week I didn't get anything besides a recite for my order. Then on the 2nd week I ended up called and it took me 3-4 times to get someone to answer. They told me due to wether animals were being delayed, which is understandable then the next week I called again, and they told me they would send it out that Wednesday. Wednesday came along and nothing I called again they then told me next week. Next week came along and still nothing I emailed them and they never replied. After about a month and 2 weeks they finally send out my order. I was only able to talk to someone over the phone about 4 times out of 39 days. Once I got my lizard she was freezing and her stomach was really flat like if something was wrong with her. Customer service was pathetic to say the least and I would definitely stay away. I believe she's sick but they won't do anything. I was planning on canceling the order but they would only give 20% back which wasn't worth it.

I bought a juvenile crested gecko, and payed extra for a female. The gecko showed up later then expected, but in cb's defense there was bad weather that week. The gecko showed up healthy. The gecko was also the correct morph. To be determined if it's a female, but with everything said I'd give CB Reptiles a 4/5.

Liars and scammers

Ordered a panther chameleon wed feb 17th should have been delivered Friday feb 20th so says their delivery schedule. I messaged them that weekend because u can not get a hol of them through the phone and told them I did not have the lizard and they told me it would be there Tuesday. Tuesday it never came so I emailed them back and she said it would be there Friday. Once again not here. They gave me a tracking number. A label was created Monday feb 22nd. Nothing ever done after that. Now it's Sunday fen 28th and I still have no lizard. 11 days later. Don't argue with them about their 20% refund charge just dispute it with the credit card company. U will have the money back in 1-2 days. And report them as a scam and get them shut down! Buy from a better reptile place! I should have read the reviews first

We have had Albert since august 2020 from CB Reptile. No problems with shipment at all. Albert is noticeably more tame and friendly compared to our pet store leopard gecko. He is a joy and I will absolutely go to CB Reptile again.

Worst company ever

I tried to purchase a Mack snow leopard gecko from this company and when I put my debit card information in the part to pay it told me my purchase couldn't go through on the website because it wasn't a credit card. So that basically means I never ordered anything and no order was even placed. When I checked my bank statements they charged me $199.90 two times and get no animal and no order was purchased. Seems sketchy to me I'm out $400. And their customer service is horrible no one answers the two numbers and I emailed customer support and still nothing.

HORRIBLE COMPANY

This company is horrible. Completely horrible. I made the newbie mistake of ordering a panther chameleon ($359) from them, it arrived a week later. He was basically a newborn. He died within 6 days. They sent a replacement to which I had to pay the shipping ($40) for overnight shipping as it should be with any live animal. I asked for an older chameleon. They shipped it out in the middle of the storm half the country is going through! Any reputable breeder would have never sent them out during this time. I wanted it to be here safe and sound. They shipped it 2/15/21 and it was delayed because of the storm and arrived today 2/18/21, he was DOA (dead on arrival) I have never been so disappointed. And it was the same size as the first one that received. They don't even send you care sheets, or a date of hatch! Nothing! It is very irresponsible and cruel of them to be doing this. I have ready here and on other places like Facebook of horrible situations like this and very similar. Please do not buy from here! They are horrible!

Biggest Regret

I paid $400 for a nosy be panther chameleon for it to arrive late, and then die within the 7 day guarantee. I emailed customer support the whole time and they were nothing but RUDE. My tracking issue got solved after some very passive aggressive texts. Customer support only cared to actually check my emails and texts and voicemails until i left a review detailing how horrible my experience was. I emailed them monday regarding the dead animal and still no response. Sincerely the $#*!test place I have ever bought a reptile from.

Total Scam

This is a scam website. They make money off cancellations. They never send your reptile, wait for you to ask for cancellation and then charge you a 20% cancellation fee. They have been doing this for years. Stay away.

BUYER BEWARE

This company is incredibly shady. The shipping chart on their website is complete bull$#*!. I ordered a leopard gecko that never arrived and after several many emails sent to them I finally requested a refund. They told me they would charge me a 20% cancellation fee. This is how the company is bringing in most of their income.

I ordered a bearded dragon for my grandson's birthday from cbreptile.com. His family purchased all of the supplies needed to house this pet. The pet did not arrive on his birthday. I called and was convinced to accept a different bearded dragon, which arrived a week later. Within a few weeks, the pet appeared to have problems. I called cb reptile several times. My son called cb reptile several times. No response. To no one's surprise, the morning my son was to take the pet to a vet, the pet died - less than a month after its arrival. I called cb reptile several times and wrote to them. No reply, no refund. DON'T BUY FROM THEM!
