Blue iguana

I ordered a Blue Male Axanthic Iguana. I received a female. They deleted my fb comment and blocked me. Their customers service 24 email response is a joke. I simply asked to correct the problem and they stopped responding. Apparently you will never know what sex you will get.
It says in their small fine print somewhere. That is extremely unprofessional as well as their customer service. If you cannot order a specific male or female then there should not be an option and it should say that upon ordering! I feel like I got scammed and they're advertisements of what they're actually shipping out does not look like what they are broadcasting! They say they're shipping is 24 hours and overnight although I ordered on a Friday my order did not come until Wednesday and I tried to reach someone to figure out what was going on in between and could not get a response. I got an email on Wednesday the day it arrived. After they realize that I was not happy about receiving a female they told me it was in their policy statement and just began to ignore me. You cannot reach anyone who runs this page specifically it seems and they cannot show you what exactly they're shipping out there is some really shady business right there!

HORRIBLE COMPANY

This company is horrible. Completely horrible. I made the newbie mistake of ordering a panther chameleon ($359) from them, it arrived a week later. He was basically a newborn. He died within 6 days. They sent a replacement to which I had to pay the shipping ($40) for overnight shipping as it should be with any live animal. I asked for an older chameleon. They shipped it out in the middle of the storm half the country is going through! Any reputable breeder would have never sent them out during this time. I wanted it to be here safe and sound. They shipped it 2/15/21 and it was delayed because of the storm and arrived today 2/18/21, he was DOA (dead on arrival) I have never been so disappointed. And it was the same size as the first one that received. They don't even send you care sheets, or a date of hatch! Nothing! It is very irresponsible and cruel of them to be doing this. I have ready here and on other places like Facebook of horrible situations like this and very similar. Please do not buy from here! They are horrible!

I spend 330$ on a tegu. For two whole months they led me on telling me that they would send him next week. Next week, next week. Over and over again. Once month two hit, after holding onto my 330$ they finally told me that the order could not be fufilled and they would be issuing a refund. I went to their website and it said all of their tegus were sold out. So they sold all of them, mailed them out to customers, and just forgot about me. After I had gotten my family so excited for our new tegu, I now had to tell them we weren't getting one. Crappiest reptile store I have EVER purchased from. What a PATHETIC excuse for a company! They need to be shut down!

They sent the first bearded dragon quickly. Upon arrival the packaging was poor. The baby bearded dragon was in a circle container smaller than the dragon. He was cushioned with a paper towel and two pieces of tissue paper. He was not able to move and died less than 6 hours later. The next bearded dragon took over a month to arrive. I never received a shipping email or confirmation of arrival. I inquired as to what was going on, and 10 days later they responded to my email and told me it had been delivered. It was sent to the wrong address, with a signature nothing close to my name. After some impressive detective work from myself, I found him in a tote outside where he had assumedly been for 10 days. Since then he has been brought back to a healthy state. Customer service was zero help other than suggesting, "looking around for the bearded dragon". Not once did they apologize or explain what went wrong, and they never explained why they had shipped the dragon two weeks after I ordered it. I will never buy from them again.

Please do not buy anything from CB Reptile. First off, they have horrible communication. I put in an order on Saturday afternoon. According to their website, delivery would be on Tuesday morning. I changed my schedule at work so that I would be available. Come Monday afternoon I had not heard anything. I emailed, called, and texted. Finally, all I received was an automated text saying my order had a tracking number. By Tuesday morning, I had still heard nothing and there was no updates on my package. After trying over and over again to get a hold of them, someone finally answered and just said "whoops it didn't get sent out". I never received any communication from them about any delays and only found out because I relentlessly reached out. Once I finally received my turtle, it was not the turtle I ordered. I was supposed to get a 4-month well started turtle but got a very very new hatchling. The turtle also looked nothing like the photos on the website. All over this was the worst customer experience I have received and there was just a complete lack of care for the animal and the customer. I will not be using their services and I highly recommend you order from a company that cares about their animals and their well-being. In regards to the new turtle, he will be super loved!

Go Elsewhere

So I was looking into getting another Leopard Gecko, CB reptiles was first to pop up. I seen they had some geckos that interested me, so I went ahead and purchased one. After a week I didn't get anything besides a recite for my order. Then on the 2nd week I ended up called and it took me 3-4 times to get someone to answer. They told me due to wether animals were being delayed, which is understandable then the next week I called again, and they told me they would send it out that Wednesday. Wednesday came along and nothing I called again they then told me next week. Next week came along and still nothing I emailed them and they never replied. After about a month and 2 weeks they finally send out my order. I was only able to talk to someone over the phone about 4 times out of 39 days. Once I got my lizard she was freezing and her stomach was really flat like if something was wrong with her. Customer service was pathetic to say the least and I would definitely stay away. I believe she's sick but they won't do anything. I was planning on canceling the order but they would only give 20% back which wasn't worth it.

I received my Bearded Dragon Fri. June 5th and he died last night. When he arrived he was very low energy and wouldn't wake up. He wouldn't hardly eat anything and never drank water. He was a baby and we understand that sometimes animals just don't make it but what bothers us is we left multiple emails expressing our concerns about our beardie. We ask for someone to call us and we left our number and I called and left a voicemail asking, "please call me back". All we got was an email telling us to leave him alone and don't handle him and make sure he had water. Well after sending more emails in concern and never hearing back from them we took him to the vet where they kept him for 2 days, finally dying last night of malnutrition. Thing is we had him for only 2 1/2 days before we took him in and they said he was too skinny for his length and bones were fragile from lack of calcium. I see other reviews that are good ones so why was I sent a sick Bearded Dragon, and why didn't anyone call me back like I ask? If we'd have know he wasn't supposed to be acting like he was wed have taken him to the vet earlier and maybe they would have had more time to rehabilitate him. Let's see if they stand by their guarantee.

Overall I'm 150% satisfied with CBReptiles! Their customer service is on point they answered me on both Facebook and Email which means all the world to me! And their product is amazing! I really couldn't be happier, I ordered 2 Leopard Geckos a hatchling Tug Snow Morph and a Juvenile Blizzard Morph, I ordered them Saturday afternoon and they were processed Monday and arrived Tuesday at 9AM! That's fire man! They were both happy and both appeared healthy & I'm really really looking forward to my next transaction with CBReptiles! I think I'm going to grab either a Dalmatian Crested Gecko or a Chocolate Harlequin Crested Gecko or maybe even both! Thanks again CBReptile!

They fixed it

Hear me out, I was very skeptical with reading reviews every where. However my son wanted a crocodile skink and I agreed I would get him one. They shipped one and it arrived dead. I regretted ordering it because I felt so bad. I ordered turtles before and never has this issue. The packaging arrived warm (it was cold weather) and I think maybe there wasn't enough air or too hot or FEDEX just mssed up. Fedex is just not my favorite no matter where I have lived and this package was a few hours late. They said they would send me one when they became available again. I didn't hear from them for several weeks so I reached out to send a reminder. They shipped one out next day. Same situation. I contacted them immediately and sent pictures again and they sent me one out again and told me if it didn't arrive they would refund me. Truthfully I wanted a refund but I try to go with the flow also a few of my communications were sent back to me and I assumed it was a scam because it was saying the email didn't exist or was full and I assumed didn't exist. The 3rd one arrived in perfect condition. It was much older which was a little disappointing as my son wants to "grow up" with his critters but it is what it is. Glad it arrived safe and healthy. It took over 2 months to make it right but I appreciate their patience and attempts to make the situation right.

On August 21st, 2023, my family and I ordered a bearded dragon of the Citrus Variety from CBReptile. We were thrilled by the various testimonials and online reviews we had seen on their website. We paid a total of over $200 for the Beardie, as well as over $60 for shipping. He arrived in a completely sealed box, taped over, no air holes, no visibility, made of cardboard, much how I'd expect a fragile wine glass to arrive. The UPS or FedEx driver even went as far as to tell me "This is totally sealed, I would imagine whatever Live Animal is in here isn't alive anymore. To our dismay, we quickly opened the box to find a very exhausted and overall non-energetic dragon within. But! He was alive. I called the company who basically brushed it off as "No that is fine, we get them in like that all the time, etc."
I was furious of course, but happy to welcome a new member of the family, Spyro. After a week of low-energy, not eating as much, things took a turn for the worse and we believed he was possibly brumating, but after a trip to the Vet, it was revealed that he likely had very little time left to live. For 48 hours we tried to feed him Critical Care Supplements prescribed by our doctor, but alas, he passed away. For the record, he had a 65 gallon tank, plenty of UVB, a temp of 103.5 degrees Fahrenheit, and a cool side of the mid 80s. He was well taken care of from day one and showered with care. DO NOT BUY FROM CBREPTILE. THEY ARE A TERRIBLE BUSINESS WITH NO REGARD FOR THEIR CUSTOMERS.

I ordered a male blue axanthic iguana on late Aug 26 which was a thursday, and they called me on Aug 31st and told me they were shipping him out that day. I received him at about 10am the next day, Sep 1st. He arrived alive and alert and was extremely calm as I gently took him out of the bag and put him into his enclosure. When I first looked into the bag and saw him I gasped because his color is so baby blue! He has a fully intact tail and isn't missing any toes, he looks very healthy. First thing he did was go in his water dish and swim around, then he basked most of the day, he seems to alternate between these activities. It's been 1 week now and he seemed to have started eating within 24 hours of arrival. He's liking the grated kabocha squash a lot but I also offer him collard greens, green beans, grated parsnip, & bell peppers daily, and various fruits here and there as well as some alfalfa pellets soaked and crushed. He's pooping daily, which is another indicator that he's eating well lol. I haven't been handling him much because I want him to get used to the enclosure and settle in first. I can say he's never tried to bite me although he has postured up to me and flared his dewlap and tried to tail whip me a few days ago, but he only did that once. So far so good
