I bought headlight from carparts.com for my 2004 Rav4. I sold the car few hours after I paid for the headlight. I called, left voice msgs and sent email but didn't receive any response until one after the purchase and the headlight has already shipped. I was told to receive the headlight and reply back to the email I received. I did exactly that but never heard back. Beware of this company. I will not recommend this company.
They sent me an email stating the I could track my order which had 0 truth to it because I'm still not about to track it, but I ordered a mirror and said it would be here Thursday and it changed to Friday and when I looked at the tracking it said to call FedEx which they told me they still haven't even received the package. I will not order from you guys again.
I purchased a timing belt kit for an 05 Kia Optima, 2.4 litre. I was advised after ordering that only part of the timing belt kit was being shipped due to the timing belt being out of stock. When I received the order it only contained the hydraulic actuator and the water pump, no pulleys, no tensioner belt or timing belt. I spoke to customer service and was assured they would correct the problem. I was then billed for a timing belt and instead received the tensioner belt, this is obviously not a timing belt as the belt is about 12-14". I had to go to a local part store and purchase the pulleys and timing belt separately. This was my second order and my last order from Carparts.com. I would strongly recommend using another site or a local part store.
I ordered a left and right chrome bumper replacement kit for my 2006 Audi A6 Quattro. These are the chrome strips that fit right above the fog light assembly. The trim pieces do not have the right curve when manufactured. The 3M adhesive is high quality but due to the poor manufacturing of the trim to match the bumper the adhesive could not hold the chrome trim pieces in place. They cannot stay attached to the bumper due to the poor design as it does no match the curve of the bumper. I ordered Evan Fisher brand replacements and they work perfectly. Cost more but worth the extra expense. Not bad mouthing CarPart.com but be aware that these are not going to work for this application. The part numbers are: A******* and A*******. I have photos of the products together to show the difference if anyone is interested.
These jokers charged me for two days shipping so my part will be here on Saturday the 16th now I'm being told I will not get my part until Wednesday the 20th. Why did these jokers charge me for two days shipping?

I ordered 4 new brake calipers and I canceled the order within 1hr and car parts still shipped the parts the next day even after I put in a return form and they accepted charged me 535 and I only get back 460 after there mistake terrible!.

I ordered a back up camera on the 25th suppose to be here on the 30th and now it is the 4th and still nothing. Cannot track it cannot call cannot live chat cause there is No one there. I emailed and still no response. Will not order from them again and I do not recommend them either.
I did not receive my complete order of 17 parts oredered. I only received 9 pieces. I have not received an email explaining why I did not receive a comlete order. At this time until I receive an explanation of this matter I cannot recommend use of this company.

I ordered an item (tail light housing for an Acura TSX) and 2 days later received an e-mail from Carparts stating that the item wasn't in stock. It's rainy season and I needed the part asap but I've just wasted 2 days. CarParts, we're in 2020, websites should reflect what you have in stock!
I bought a fan motor for my truck and thought things were great. That night I got an order cancelation that they didn't have my part and they were sorry. So I moved on and bought a more expensive part. Got the motor which was horrible sounding and really shouldn't be sold. I sent it back and then they didn't even start the refund process until I followed up with them about why I hadn't gotten my money back. They had the fan for a week and didn't start refunding until I actually talked to them. Thank goodness for fedex having a confirmation that the got the part back or who knows if I would have gotten anything. I got a better fan motor from parts geek and had no problems there.
Order# *******, ordered set of custom chrome handles for my 99 4door tahoe, they arrived separately, that wasn't the problem, the problem was that two were made of metal and two were made of plastic, I wrote a brief review of how upset I was about the plastic parts, didn't ask for anything but after reading my review, car parts took it upon themselves to refund the price of my purchase for the plastic parts, best customer service I have found around. Ordered many parts from their site before
Never had a problem until this but they quickly took care of me, I'm now a loyal customer thanks again car parts.

I placed my order via website. I was given a delivery date the date came there was NO package no email no phone stating an unexpected delay or ANYTHING! I called in only to be told I was given the incorrect tracking number & they did not know where my package was located oh & did I mention I was told I had to be called back until they figured it out, no timeframe was given his exact words were " it could be today some time, maybe tomorrow or the day after" I spoke with a manager only to be told the same thing SHE DOES NOT KNOW! I'm completely disgusted with this "business" you definitely received MY money but what have I received? NOTHING not even an explanation!
