The first time I used them I got my part overnighted and three days later I called because it hadn't arrived. They supose to had sent my extra money for the overnight and still overnight it. So the next day I get an email saying I didn't have the money to pay for the part. In short they sent all my money back so no part so I had to pay 3 times the price as well as had to wait 4 days when I could have just went and got the part. Second I ordered a part on 1/21/24 got a confirmation saying it will arrive on 1/25/24 so I kept track and it never got to the shipping till 1/25/24 and I will receive it on 2/3/24 three days after I need the part so now I'm stuck with a bad inspection until it arrives if it arrives. They truly suck
I order a radiator reservoir for my car. Omgosh, it took two weeks for me to get it. Not only that he had the balls to charge me $6.99 $6.99 for $6.99 for shipping I cannot believe this I am highly disappointed and I will never go through this company again and I advised everybody else at recess to do the same. Purchased a part for 1973 T/A restoration I am doing. Website guaranteed part would fit(see photo) and it did not. Only fits 1980-81 after researching further. Customer service would not do anything to help me out even though their website was wrong. Said I was out of the 90 day window to return. Would not even provide a credit or discount for future purchase to help me out a little. Guess a guarantee means something different to this company.
UPDATE; So I contacted customer service a third time after seeing they responded to my review. They offered me 10% off future purchase. So let's do the math. That would be $10 on a $100 purchase. So they would actually still make more money off me while I am out $100. As a matter of fact you can go to the site and still see the incorrect listing that says guaranteed to fit for the part I purchased but they don't honor that policy if over 90 days. Again go somewhere else, help out us little guys where $100 means a lot!. Total disappointment in this company's customer service.

After my part arrived I waited on decent weather to proceed with the installation.
After the deinstallation of old window motor unit & installation of the new unit I found the wires crossed, ie, the up was down & the down was up!
I had to cut the Red & Blue wires & reverse to make it work correctly using a couple butt splices.

In fairness, the problem with CarParts.com is usually not the products they sell. If you are lucky, your order will arrive on time, the items will be as expected, and life is good.
However, if you have ANY type of problem, no matter how minor...good luck! Good luck if the part is damaged, or you have to exchange, or you need a refund or your order has not arrived, or you need to correct their shipping address error, etc.
Customer service is usually unresponsive, and sometimes hard to understand as they are in the Philippines. They seem to have no clear and direct way to communicate the simplest of issues to either the carparts.com main offices or their delivery services.
The biggest issue is their choice to use LSO as one of their delivery vendors. They probably could not have chosen a more incompetent outfit than them (see their Google reviews). A previous order I made with them, FedEX delivered it, zero issues, actually a bit early - perfect. My most recent order (that I am STILL waiting for) was to be delivered by LSO, but they cannot seem to organize themselves to deliver a package from point A to B and refuse to communicate.
Too much to write, but I'm absolutely stunned that a company like carparts.com would use such a poorly operated delivery company. Amazing. Unfortunately, I'm through with carparts.com, not worth the aggravation.
UPDATE:
Thanks for finally delivering the part. One problem, IT IS BROKEN! The passenger-side mirror of the whole unit is cracked in multiple places. This has been an absolute nightmare!

I placed an order with carparts asking for a price match from rockauto and the guy agreed but I was bill full price and the I supposed to get credit back into my bank account days later but it took more than a week and that is because I was calling and emailing (many times) requesting my refund until finally got it but not all of it so I send another email but at the end I just give up and I lost like 80plus dollars. I ordered a brake drum kit for my Jeep Cherokee in April, I received my package in May. I understand that the COVID has things messed up however, when I opened the package I discovered that one brake drum was missing. I contacted them and spent a month trying to get my missing brake drum that I paid for. I was first told that the missing drum was going to be shipped and I would have tracking number in 48 hrs. A week went by and I contacted them again. I was told I couldn't return anything and they didn't have anymore in stock and I would get a refund. I got $18 credited back to my card, wth? Also they still have the same kit " in stock " on their page. Stay away from them. I ordered brake drums from another place and got the, in 48 hrs. Now I have an extra drum that is useless. Again I say Stay Away they have no concept of what customer service is.
I purchased a set of 4 shocks for my 03 Ford Ranger. When installing the 2nd front shock, I found that both lower mounting bolts and one of the rubber bushings was missing. The box for the shock was sealed, but the package that was supposed to have the lower bolts was opened and both bolts & nuts were missing. The package that was supposed to contain the upper mounting hardware was sealed but one of the rubber bushings was missing. I ended up using the best of the old bushings and had to run to the local auto store to buy the lower bolts. Since I had my truck apart, it was too late to order replacement hardware. I'm not sure how this happened, but I was not a happy camper at the time.
I ordered a fuel pump and it said if you pay this much money you will get it in 2 days well its been a day a it still says processing so I chated with an agent and I asked if my order would be here on time and he said no we won't even ship it for 2 more days so I said why did I pay extra money for it not to come on or before the date and he said sorry our website is not accurate on the dates

Frist time customer. I was looking for rear wheel bearings. After I could only find bearings for the front, I started to chat online to ask if they could help. Elvie was great, they informed me that I needed to buy the HUB assembly for the rear that I couldnt just buy the bearing itself. What a relief! Elvie really made my day easier. They even caught a mistake with my address and corrected an order I placed yesterday and a order I placed today. Quick, friendly, and knowledgeable. I will be a repeat customer!

Spend your money elsewhere! I made the mistake of ordering a car part desperately needed for an immediate repair based on the website's promised delivery date of the part. I paid double the shipping cost for expedited shipping. My order was not even shipped by CarParts.com until the day it was supposed to be delivered. The "email customer service" form on their website does not work. I sent an email to CS via their chat window and received no response in 24 hours. It took 3 attempts to connect to CS via chat and after a long wait I finally got an associate. The associate, "Seth", was not accommodating or friendly. My complaint was the delay in shipping my order being CarParts.com's fault, not the courier. Seth kept blaming FedEx for the delay when tracking shows they did not even receive the package until after the promised delivery date! I reasonably requested a refund of the expedited shipping charges I paid since the delivery date was not met. The agent refused twice until I said I would dispute the charge with my credit card. This is NOT how a company should conduct business. I will never recommend CarParts.com. In fact, I will leave a negative review everywhere I can and make sure to tell mechanic friends to never order from them. I will continue to shop at the reliable, trusted car part sellers online. CarParts.com cannot be trusted with my business again. A 2-3 delay in this industry is costly.
