I had a problem with the first mirror that I received... I had actually given up on corresponding... This date I received notice that I will receive a second passenger mirror within 3 to 5 days... I ordered a brake kit for my wife's car. The website stated that the order would be delivered on Saturday. On Friday I received a text from FEDEX saying that my ordered wouldn't be delivered until Monday. I checked the status of my order on Carparts.com and it still stated that my order would be delivered on Saturday. I called Carpart.com and the lady told me that they don't pay for weekend delivery and that they have a policy of delivering within 5 working days. I asked why both places on their website said Saturday. She said she didn't know. I asked about returning these as my wife was going out of town on Sunday. She said I could return the brake kit but that I would have to pay the freight charge. $18.00 when it was not my fault. Do not buy from them, they list delivery dates just to get you to buy, knowing that they cannot deliver on that day. STAY AWAY!

I would have appreciated a bit more time to cancel the order. I found the part locally in less than a minute after placing the order. It was too late to cancel. On the other hand, I couldn't have asked for better service in placing the return. I would have preferred prepaid return shipping though.
We bought parts for a titan we bought from a friend, that was recked a little more than we thought. The parts fit good the truck is coming together great. Just another item or two. Should be ready. Thanks a lot
Ordered two shock from them. Both of the boxes for each shock had their ends torn off and taped back up and somebody put their initials on them. Both were lacking hardware and one of the bushings on one end of one shock was mangled and completely unusable. It appears these were sold to someone else, returned and then sold to me. One shock for the price of two. AVOID

I will never buy anything again from…
I will never buy anything again from there. Ordered a part and never received it. Email company and the said they will refund my shipping cost and I can return the part for a refund. But I never got it. So basically I'm screwed. So I wouldn't suggest using carparts.com again.

Yes, you get your parts and the price reflects the service. If you think you are going to another online vendor to avoid them it becomes more difficult and muddy because this is actually J. C. Whitney and they own multiple domains online so the company behind the different web sites remains the same and so does the service. They take your order and it is drop shipped from the vendor they have NO control just good placement in search and paid ad placements so they always come up first. They went from spamming you with catalogs in your mail box to the internet - how things never really change.
2 stars only because they have been able to survive this long
FYI - company is Whitney Automotive Group (WAG) listed on Hoovers
They sent me the wrong parts. Twice. And they got the part returned and received the parts on July 10th. Returned funds was suppose to be in my account two days ago. It's now the 20th. And when I called I was told please allow them 24-48 hours to refund me. I want my money when I'm promised it. They got their parts back. But here I may have to wait over ANOTHER weekend to receive MY money back. Extremely unhappy with this business.

I purchased a part from CarParts on line and had problems installing it. After a lot of grief and telling them of my problems, they processed a return. The part was damaged at my fault and then the customer service employee, Shen, contacted me and offered a refund. This was no fault of theirs, but they are still going to refund this anyway. They really care what happens to the people who deal with them! This is unheard of in today's market and was a big help to me. CarParts has always been great (I've order parts from CarParts a couple of times) the parts always fit and are affordable. The last part I ordered I had problems with shipping, specifically FedEx and arrival dates not being met. I also had the safe problem when I ordered things from other businesses. CarParts understood and refunded some of the shipping expense, without me asking and definitely without having to at all (CarParts can't control FedEx). I will continue to order parts from CarParts as I am 100% satisfied with their selection, quality of items, price and customer service!

I've call at least 5 dozen times just to be hung up on. My item shipped to me is damaged. The item has been shipped back. I need my money returned to me but they seem to be hanging up on me. This company is a scam. I paid extra for express delivery and didn't receive my item as stated. As far as I care the item if and when I do receive it csn go in the trash. My black friday purchase only had about half of what I ordered available. The other parts were just processed like normal. I can really do alot with one of the calibers I needed. When asked if I could just cancel my order being most wasnt available, I was told I couldnt because the warehouses were closed on the weekend and the order may or may not get processed? Its unacceptable to not have an order fulfilled and not be able to cancel the rest
The original review was the web site claimed the part was guaranteed to fit, part didnt fit. All I expected them to do was add that the part may need modification to be installed to the listing on the site. Customer service called me and refunded me a % of the cost of the part. It is good to see companies take responsibility and make it right.
