Ordered part for car that was guaranteed to fit, did not fit, shipped back the very next day with photos attached, was in same condition it was received. Have yet to receive refund. Was going to order a different part, but will not be going through this company again... Terrible experience.
Car parts refused to accept my return of TWO cores for a starter and an alternator, because I was beyond their 60 day "return" policy, even though I bought remanufactured parts that depend on the recycling cores, they would make no exceptions. The only advantage of this website is they will often have those "hard to find" items you don't want to order from the dealer. Just make sure you don't buy things in bulk and plan on working on them over a few months, because you're boned and they will happily pocket those core charges. I recommend FCPEURO as my first choice, then American Trucks if your car is domestic.

I will NEVER order ANYTHING from this company! I placed my order Saturday, they immediately took the payment, the order didn't get "shipped" until Tuesday (the day it was supposed to get delivered), I had to call this morning (Thursday) to find out where my order was! I was informed it was returned and refunded, because FedEx lost or damaged my package. No one contacted me to inform me! And you know I kinda need this order, I mean I'm on foot! I'm missing my son's first track meet tonight! UGHHHHHHHH! OH AND IT WILL TAKE 2 TO 4 BUSINESS DAYS TO REFUND ME MY MONEY! NEVER AGAIN!

Stay away! Ordered something on feb 2 and items had to get here on feb 5... to my findings they had no order number and no tracking info for GLS. I rather stay on ebay something thats been around for years. If u know what im saying i would stay away from new sites. As they say " what you pay for is what you get". Also for my refund..."ohh lord bby jesus" how do you do a refund with no confirmation on my end. This sounds alot like a scam. I just pray to god that they send me some of my hard worked money back. Yessir!

Do not deal with carparts, as they are definitely a scam. I paid over $16 for urgent shipping for a fuel pump, but they didn't ship after 8 days. When i called them to cancel it because I already purchased one from ebay. They started to manipulate me and they told me we will cancel it. Four days keep calling them but i got nothing, so they didn't return my money or at least ship the item. On fifth day of calling them, they said we cannot cancel it as it will be shipped to you soon, i told them in your website it says i got 60 days right to refund! And the item is still in your warehouse. However, i called my bank to dispute the payment.
Also i reported the BBB office and reported FBI about those scammers.
Government has to ban this Chinese business.

Bought a tail light for my Yukon and less than a year later it was getting water in it. I got a replacement and now the replacement has the same issue! They are now unwilling to replace because it has been more than a year. Seems like the products they sell are less than quality and their customer service is worse! Avoid at all costs.

I'm in the process of doing a frame off restoration on an OBS Chevy pickup.
I ordered OEM premium parts from Car Parts.com in advance December 3rd. So I would have them on hand, when needed. I just started reassembling the vehicle, and realized that only one ball joint of four came with the bolts and hardware necessary for installation. I contacted Car Parts and was told that it's been over 30 days nothing we can do! I should have opened all of the boxes on arrival, but that shouldn't be necessary.

The first time I used them I got my part overnighted and three days later I called because it hadn't arrived. They supose to had sent my extra money for the overnight and still overnight it. So the next day I get an email saying I didn't have the money to pay for the part. In short they sent all my money back so no part so I had to pay 3 times the price as well as had to wait 4 days when I could have just went and got the part. Second I ordered a part on 1/21/24 got a confirmation saying it will arrive on 1/25/24 so I kept track and it never got to the shipping till 1/25/24 and I will receive it on 2/3/24 three days after I need the part so now I'm stuck with a bad inspection until it arrives if it arrives. They truly suck

Fyi if you buy from these people be prepared to get charged double on whatever card you are putting this on. When I purchased them items, my card was charged in full. Then because because it was getting shipped from different locations each location charges what they are shipping you. But don't worry, after chatting to the Indian fellow I was put at ease after he informed me that the original charge will be reimbursed sometime… I'll review again after the parts arrive and see how long they hold the original charge for my purchase. So far I wish rockauto had my parts. They only charge once.

Bought some parts for my car that their site said would fit my vehicle when I get them they are for a different model. And only sent me one rotor out of a set of two. Asked them for a refund and they only refunded me $10 of my 50. They asked me to send parts back in but only gonna refund me for one of the two rotors. I ordered 2 sets of new rotors and pads, but ended up canceling the order the same night. The next day, they canceled one of the sets, but still shipped the other, even though they had already canceled the other. They're now telling me to return the item I will have to pay a fee.
