After providing photos and all specifications, they sent me the wrong part. Then they asked for the VIN number and told me to buy another one as it will be quicker than to wait until they process the return.

If there was an option for no stars thats how I would rate this joke of a company... I placed and order and it was for a built to order part. I was quoted two to three weeks on the part. I said ok no problem. One month goes by, I check to see whats going on with my order, it had gotten delayed another week. ( no biggie) Another week and a half goes by still no update on shipping i check with crapid again delayed another two weeks... SO now im two months in to waiting for my parts the finnaly arrive may first but the boxes have been beat up pretty bad and the driver requested i check the items. After an inspection of the items that I paid over $800 for i had to refuse the shipment because they were damaged. I have now been in the process of fighting with them to get a replacement item made and shipped. Since my enitial purchase it has been over 3months. Customer service seems to be out sourced... By far the worst experience I have ever had! I ordered a set of rims for my truck in December of 2014 it is now May 5th 2015 and I still have not received my rims. Everytime I call to find out what is going on with my order I get a completely different story then I heard the time before. I've been lied to so many times I can't even count. Ahead of ordering aftermarket fog lights made for my vehicle, I contacted customer service so they could verify it would fit including the switch. They confirmed it did, so I ordered the lights. I installed the lights and to my surprise, the switch did not fit. I contacted customer service and they first tried to tell me it wouldn't fit until I forwarded their email that said it would. Then they told me it was outside of their return policy. At this point, I didn'the want to return them since it was installed-just wanted a switch that would work. They offered a $15 gift certificate which does me no good because they don'the sell switches and there wasn't anything on their site I could get for $15 shipped that I needed. I asked instead for them to refund $15 which is about 10% of the purchase price so I could use that to buy a switch that would work at another store. They refused. I will never buy from this site again. I would give them zero starts if I could.

The website is great, the customer service rep I visited with was very helpful, however... the products were supposed to be all in stock. I ordered a set of shocks, exhaust parts/catalytic converter, which trickled in over a period of about 2 weeks. I also ordered a set of rims/tires, that were supposed to be shipped on 4/28/15, about 3-4 weeks after I ordered them (once again, this was an "in stock" item). I never received notification of shipment, so I left messages with my "personal representative" on 4/29 who was very diligent and returned my phone calls the next day (with tracking numbers). I checked my tracking numbers today, 5/2/15 and the product has not even been entered in the system, which basically means they are just printed shipping labels. I am very disappointed that an in stock product would take this long to ship, and the only reason I did not give them a lower rating is because the representative has been very polite and helpful. Not sure what is going on but if something does not ship soon, I will be going after them to get a refund.
I had purchase a side skirt for my bmw on march 7 2015. I place my order with a sales rep he promise that I would receive my item within a week. Two weeks had pass I call back to see where my item was, frustrating two days calling, leaving messages for someone to call me back, finally third day a got a hold of someone they told me that my item was not ship out yet because $#@! A few weeks ago, I purchased a bike mount for my car. No sooner after I purchased the parts, I received 2 emails. The first email stating the confirmation number of my purchase. The second email, which I thought was a red flag, was from a sales representative saying I still needed to complete the order. I disregarded that email and went about my day. The next day I got the tracking information from UPS. This is where it gets even more odd. The shipment was being returned to sender? I called CarID and had to listen to that ridiculous on hold machine. After 30 minutes on hold, I finally got someone who said his name was Sal... but by his terrible fake American accent, we can all guess his name wasnt Sal and he wasnt from America. He tried to contact the manufacturer to figure out why my package was being returned to sender. After another 10 minutes, he finally got back on and said he had no idea why that happened and continued to confirm my shipment would be delivered. At this point, I was convinced this was a scam and decided to read reviews online about CarID. After reading the terrible reviews, I called CarID to demand a refund of my purchase, no matter where my shipment was. They said they will no doubt refund my money, but have to submit a request? This morning, I have still yet to receive my refund and on top of that, my credit card was hacked for $800 on Honk Kong Airways. I had to shut down my credit card and will most likely not get my money back. I am convinced it is CarID.
I Ordered rims (full set) checked with rep many times about fitment. Received wheels about 10 days later. The front 2 rims are the wrong size. When I called the rep said the bolt pattern fits your car, the size is your problem. The manager was also very calm but refused to help with an exchange or refund. Carid is an awful, poor excuse for a parts business online. I ordered headlights for my 2011Honda civic that was not cheap. I got an email saying that they were going to be delayed due to them being made to order, and would take over a month to get to me. After waiting over a month, i finally recieved my order, and after 3 hours of labor, the headlights were incorrect, and turned out to be ACURA TLX HEADLIGHTS! After being furious of waiting over a month for these lights to be made and shipped, I furiously called, emailed, and left voicemails to the company wanting to return, and get a refund. They did not call back, or answer phones, or even reply to my emails! Dont bother trying to return something either of you buy it and it is incorrect because they will not help you. Most likely keep the product and your money. BEWARE! DO NOT BUY FROM THESE SCAMMERS
I tried to cancel the order 1hr after making the order. I tried to tell them I live in Canada and under 10$ Canadian you don't pay tax. I orderd a light bulb that was 9.40cents they charged 24 dollars American which is why I tried to cancel. Ups came to my house and wanted 28 dollars for a total of 61.40cents. They agreed said the would refund me 27$ if I paid the 28$ to UPS. Next day they sent a email saying they won't refund anything but send a 15$ gift card.

Ordered wheels on the 20th of April. Email the next day said ship date to be the 28th. I called to say that wont't work and was told by Denise they had to be drilled. Lie #1. Tried the next day to cancel the order and was told it was non refundable due to it being a special order.? Standard Chevy wheels? Lie #2. Supervisor Mark, Ext. 8036 told me yesterday another reason for non refund was they were being shipped. I asked for the tracking numbers and he said he would email me. Never got them. Lie #3 Today all it says is "processed" Shipping date of the 28th. All liars. Crappy service. Rude. On hold a minimum of 20 minutes each call. Something needs to seriously be done to make this company accountable.
I ordered some tail light guards on the 9th of April. Was sent an email 2 days later saying there was a delay in the shipment on the manufacturers level. Told it would ship on the 17th. I paid $10.20 for standard ground shipping (3-5 days) I called them on the 17th when my order status was still showing as "processed". The CSR assured me that the item would ship on the 20th. I asked them to waive the shipping fee and instead took a $25 gift card in lieu with the expectation that my order would ship on that day. Checked the status on the 20th and it still said processed, received another delay notification email that day stating it would ship on the 30th. 21 days after the original order date. I did some research on the company and found this site as I became more frustrated with them. I called the next day and cancelled my order. I received a confirmation of cancellation that day and am still waiting on my refund receipt which I was told would be emailed 2 days from that time. Wish I would have came across this site earlier. Never experienced such poor business ethics. If i don't receive my refund I will be filing charges with the authorities. I would suggest everyone do the same. Reporting them to BBB is useless. THere are laws that protect consumers from this kind of scamming abuse. $#*! YOU CARID!
Purchased a DuraFlex Fiberglass Body Kit for 2003 Toyota Corolla on March 19,2015. It was delivered on March 27,2015. My initial inspection was that the box was damaged and in bad shape, but I personally did not know what to look for in damage for fiberglass body parts. Parts were further inspected by my body shop professional on April 4,2015 upon preparation of installing the body kit. The shop called me immediately to come to the shop to show me major problems. The body kit has numerous chips in the gel coat and several cracks in the fiberglass. The also noted that the front bumper cover would not fit my car as stated without removing the front bumper support cross beam and front bumper impact absorber pad. Both of these are major safety features on the car and removal would make the car unsafe to drive with fear of front impact would cause the motor to come into the cab of the car due to no front impact protection. Of course the website did not state this major modification to my actual car, but only stated that sanding and cutting of the parts would be required and professional installation. I contacted CarID.com immediately that same day and they requested photos. I sent photos of all the damage. No response back. I called several times and kept being sent to an automated customer service to take a message and never called back. The finally spoke with a manager on April 9,2015. Sent him the photos and he said that I had a good claim and should know something in 24-48 hours. No response. I have emailed and called several times again to only be ignored again. Their website says 100 percent Satisfaction Guaranteed. This is apparently a lie. They have basically stole my money. Do not purchase from this company.
My husband and I were about to go on a long road trip and needed tires. We found that CarId had a good deal on a tire/rim package. We went for it, along with a few other odds and ends to add to our tahoe. We paid with our American Express, best thing we could have done! Immediately after we made the purchase we received a phone call confirming payment and to insure all is well with the order. My husband said yes, but wanted to make sure we were on a very strict time contraint and if we could not get the tires within the given time frame, then we needed to cancel the order immediately. "Oh yeah, yeah" they said "should be no problem, that we will receive the delivery time in the next few days". We received the the delivery schedule a few days later and it was not going to work for us. Everything but the rims/tires were processed. We immediately called them and requested to cancel our order. We are talking within a couple days of the order. The money had not even processed through the credit card. They no, sorry all sales are final! That is bologne, the customer is not satisified, nothing had shipped, we are canceling this order one way or another. I called American Express and disputed the charge. As of now our money has been credited back to our account because American Express agrees with our dispute. It took weeks for the items to ship to our home. The shipping company just left the tires at our door without a signature. We already purchased the same items locally, instead. Now I want to return all items to CarId, they are refusing to give me an address to return them. Terrible customer service. Not sure how they are in business. I know they are about to be without merchandise and without payment from us!

Personal I place an order every year around November being it's black friday, and I usually get great deals, but keeping it real sometimes I have a little problem with shipping the wrong item, but they work quickly to fix the problem. But overall I will rate the service great and i plan on ordering something else soon.
