Lesson learned man! NEVER nickel and dime your customers. While this site has a LOT of positive reviews, they also have a $#*!load of negs plus a lot of pissed consumers... including myself. Too many negs for anyone with half a brain to actually read my review and NOT visit Carid.
I will say though, they have an extensive collection so if you really can't find something and Carid is the only one that does, it's understandable most will purchase from them. Just be wary and make sure you want what you want cause returns are higher priced than the purchase... which is highly ghetto!

I am making sure to do my rounds to let everyone know not to use this website to purchase parts.
I was looking for a cheaper interim strut until I decided what I wanted to do for a complete suspension set up. I purchased a pair of front struts with coils already mounted. They came in cardboard boxes with no packing material. The sensor mounts were bent but otherwise no damage. I completed the install and the top mount bolts were too short. When I notified CARID, they said because they came in damaged and I installed them (because it was just bending them straight) that they wouldn't cover them. They needed to be claimed as damaged. It wasn't real damage it was just a note to them that the product ships poorly. They denied any responsibility and then offered me $10 credit if I returned them. (they were $225). This company is just moving product and then telling the customer to go screw if there's a problem. Look at the other reviews for them. Don't trust them. The only reason its not 2 stars or less is because they bought a ton of 5 star ratings to begin with to keep their average up.
*****Edit*** After asking me to contact them they offered 25% refund on the products. But here's the kicker, below is what they told me about the nuts not threading even close to all of the way on to the bolts.
"According to our tech, these are the correct struts for the vehicle. The bolts may not go through completely, but the strut will hold in place with the weight of the vehicle and will not be dangerous to the customer. There is no defect on the struts purchased."
WOW, why do they even have a torque spec if they don't even need to thread all of the way through? This is the advice this company will give you so that they will not have to give a refund on a bad product. I will be notifying Nissan to let them know of their claim of installation and what is OK to do. This is absolutely wild to me. Please do not buy from them, they will make promises based on lies. This is not a safe or approved installation, but hey, they didn't have to refund $200, so who cares if someone gets hurt?

The descriptions and photos of the products on their website are a farce! Inaccurate descriptions and photos are not representative of the item they are selling, Spent HOURS on hold to speak with "customer service" to return the Coverking seat covers that I purchased ( "Easy Returns", "Hassle Free", "No Headaches") and after two weeks and a dozen emails and phone calls, have still not received an RMA from CARiD and have submitted a dispute through my creditor for a full refund.

CARiD is the absolute worst I have ever dealt with -- CHEAP, POOR QUALITY products, NON-EXISTENT customer service, and their "Easy Returns" policy is anything but "easy" -- CAVEAT EMPTOR ( "Buyer Beware")!
My finance ordered parts from Car Id. They were to ship the parts to Washington, because we planned a vacation around the idea of getting parts when we went stateside. The parts somehow ended up in California Florida, after $#*!ing around my fiance aroubd for hours on the phone and after being hung up on... they agreed to send the parts to the correct location in Washington from South Dakota... the parts showed up in Washington a week after they were supposed to be there. The box was mangled, and full of holes! The manager Belle of Car Id advised my fiance to accept the box, and they would look at reimbursement if the parts were damaged. We got the box, the fiberglass front bumper was cracked right through! The metal mesh in the bumper was bent to hell! The spoiler he ordered is cracked all the way down the middle! We sent the images to Car I'd and they told us after spending 600 dollars they will give him 30 dollar credit but canno't help him any further! He has to file a complaint with UPS there is nothing they will do for him.

All items shipped via Freight Shipping Service are required to be inspected at the time of the delivery prior to accepting the package and signing for it. If the part arrived damaged, the receiver needs to sign the Proof of Delivery as "Damaged", refuse the package, and contact CARiD to report the damage and request the replacement or refund. We instruct all the clients about this process at the check out.
