I ordered tires and wheels for new bmw. They dont list trim options which would change the sizing of rims. Some base models can except smaller rims the m models dont. Well I ordered 19 inch rims. I sent and email same day of ordering to double check with my trim package nobody answered me 3 weeks later i get nice set of wheels that dont fit. Too small. I'm waiting for a return phone call to return these before I order another set. I will update my review after I recieve customer service. Double check your model and trim package with other online sites to make sure you dont get caught up like I did.
CARiD has the worst possible customer service possible. The continual excuses given by CARiD for the failure to ship an item is infuriating. I have seen every excuse possible, and even one to the point of offering psychiatric help instead of a reasonable explanation of CARiD's failure to ship an item as scheduled by CARiD. Come to find out through some research, CARiD is merely a brokerage selling other companies inventory. Strange, to return an item, it gets shipped to a third party, and not CARiD itself.

I ordered brakes on the 16th of the month. It's now the 21st and they still haven't even shipped. I called and spoke with someone whose only response was "our company policy states that it can take 3-5 days to ship." It's been 6 now and still nothing. He also told me they don't stock any of these parts. When you order them they contact the company who stocks them and order them on your behalf which is why it takes them so long to ship things. Meanwhile they've had my money for a week. AND I won't actually know when I will get my parts until they ship out so I could be looking at not getting them for TWO WEEKS!
Their site clearly states that they have live chat 24-7 yet when I attempted this at 6:15 am on a weekday I received a response saying I had reached them after hours and that I should email them. I could've paid an additional $18 and gotten my brakes in 2 days from Amazon. My mistake. I won't make it again. Do not waste your time with this company. Go to someone who cares about customer service even if you pay an extra $20. It's well worth it.

Another company only interested in MONEY. NO customer service here. I was charged over $200 dollars in shipping and had to pay the delivery company a COD charge. This company is just a middle man, no practicle use for them, go directlly to the company who manufatures what you need.

Ordered running boards that cost me 720.00 with freight. Running boards they sent me on there website cost 325.00. Contacted them and they confirmed they sent the wrong ones. Told them to refund me 300.00 and i would keep the wrong ones. On 9/25/2020 I ordered a TYC® - A/C Condenser Fan Assembly Order Number: ******* of the amount 46.46. I received the part and found out I had the wrong part and put in for a refund. This was the following dilemma I went through:
1st call: 10/2 - 745pm -est - Called to verify the item was received by the manufacturer. I shipped it via ups 10/1 - item was received.
2nd Call: 10/6 - 456pm -est - Inquired about the status of refund and was told it was sent RMA dept for a refund of 35.50 less 10.96 for shipping.
3rd Call: 10/8 - 1126am -est - Inquired about refund and was told it would be on my bank statement within 3 days. Did not happen.
4th Call: 10/13 - 1010am -est - Inquired about refund and was told it would be on my account the next day. Did not happen. I told them I would be making a complaint with the BBB.
I would like a refund of $35.50 placed on my bank account immediately. The customer service may make promises but I have seen no attempt on their part to refund my money even though they have their item back unscathed. This is fraud plain and simple. I have heard excuses from them based on covid but the complaints I have researched have been going on since 2016.

I made an order on 9/13/2020 and the total came out to $548 they took out the money and then never shipped my order so I contacted customer service and they said they will refund and they never did I contacted them again and they said they returned the money and that my bank account had it on hold and so I called my bank and they said there's no purchase under them but they had taken out the money that same day 9/13/2020 and now they said they didn't take it out all so if they hadn't then why did they give me a "return" in the first place? Ordered parts on Sept 30th for a Subaru. Received a note saying a part would be delayed. The delayed part arrived none of the other parts have. It's been 13 days since the order was placed. Now the car is overdue for inspection. I called the phone at Carid that was listed. Get ready to be bombarded by infomercials. So many that you will not get through to a real person. Switched to their on-line help. They responded quickly but offered on answers whatsoever. What state are you headquartered? No answer. Can I get the tracking number for my parts? No answer. Where are my parts? We'll need 24 to72 hours to determine that. This is terrible! I'll never order from Carid again. They offered a $10 gift card but i won't be ordering from them again. I was also told if I cancelled the order they couldn't guarantee that I wouldn't be charged anyways.
Update - October 20th and the parts still have not arrived although I did get a shipping confirmation that they arrived at a warehouse in NJ on October 8th! CARid is just a terrible outfit to deal with! They should run for public office, there's always room for empty promises there!

I placed an order for spark plugs almost 2 weeks ago after 6 business days i called to find out where they were, i was told they wouldn't be shipped until Wednesday which my call was on a Monday morning so I told them I want to cancel the order and want my money back. CARID is sub name the parent company is ONYX (which I did nor know until I filed a complaint with the BBB). Ordered a set of wheels and tires on 9/12/20. Suppose to ship on 9/28/2020. I called a week prior to that? Why so long and was told that was asap. I tried to cancel and the tab on their website to request cancellation does not work! Good luck getting someone on the phone! I called on the 28th and was told I would get tracking info shortly, nothing! Called numerous time and you stay on hold more than an hour. One time after holding for an hour, message came on and said I was calling after BZ Hours, its was 10:30 AM. Finaaly got someone and requested to speak to Super, could only lease a message.
Super called the next day and flat out Lied! Said the tires and wheels ahd been received by their warehouse and were being assemlbed and I couls not cancel and would get shipping info in the next few days. Not true and it only takes 45 minutes to mount and baalnce a set but it takes a few more days to ship? Made a complaint to AFFIRM for a charge back but i'm sure they are affilited and the told me two weeks for them to make a decision on wether to make a charge back. IO took that as to give ONYX time to comply with the order. I filed a complaint with BBB. ONYX refused to cancel and overnited the wheels and tires on October 6. I reluctantly accepted them. Everyone that I talked to during this process LIED! I will never do business with ths company again and advise you to avoid them! This is a brief synopsys, actual was worse than what Iv'e written.
