I spent almost $2,000 on a wheel and tire package from carID, and was told on the website that the estimated shipping time would be 4-5 days with possible delays of a few days due to COVID. Upon purchasing the wheels, the shipping date was estimated to be over 3 weeks! I called and tried to cancel but apparently wheels and tires are non refundable! After waiting 3 weeks I checked again and now my shipping estimate is almost 3 more weeks!

Did not receive order
November 16, 2020

I ordered a pendaliner truck bed liner from CARID on 9/23/20 & paid with Discover Card. The item was estimated to ship on 10/2. On 10/19 I had not received the item nor been notified whether the item had shipped. I called shipper (CARID), received tracking number but not which carrier. Had not received item on 11/4, discovered on my own which carrier (Fedex), contacted them & found out the item had been redirected by shipper back to manufacturer (who received item on 10/21). I contacted CARID (shipper) on 11/4. I was told they would look into where the item was. I requested a cancellation & refund if there was such a problem delivering the item. I was told they could not cancel or refund my money & they would email me an update within 4 days. On 11/16, I had received neither an update nor my item so once again I contacted CARID. I explained the situation and again was told they could not cancel the order or refund my money. I told the lady that I had specifically paid with Discover card because they would be able to obtain a refund. The lady put me on hold for a few minutes & when she returned, she stated that she had verified with the manufacturer that they had received the item. She stated that would request a refund to my Discover Card. She verified my email address & said I should be refunded in approximately 5 days.
I will be following up with Discover card.

Still waiting for refund

In current times where shipping cost are rare and minimal, I did not pay attention when I made a purchase of a plastic piece weighing a few ounces. The shipping cost was $140, About $136 more than it should have been. I was told a refund would take 3-5 days. It's day 13 and I'm still waiting.

I purchase 2 front seat covers by inputting my car make model and year into their seat finder on the main page. It pulled up a beautiful pair of covers that day $114-134. It did say universal fit on there as well but I thought since I put my specific make model and year they would at least fit - might not be perfect - but they would fit. Got them 2-3 months after purchasing them (for the highest amt 134+tax) They did NOT fit, didn't even make it over my seat. They were too small and I could not fit them on at all. I returned them with a note saying I was not paying the stocking fee because this was not my fault- they advertised the wrong seat covers for my car. I totally understand universal fit - I have some on my other car I bought off amazon and they don't look perfect but they fit over the seat - but these did not even almost fit. They told me I would be getting my refund less the tax ( a little more than $10) because it wasn't a CarID error. Which honestly the money isn't a huge deal - but the whole fact of the seat covers couldn't fit, even though I put the year make and model in... should be their problem not mine. Bad advertising. The quality was great I wish they did fit but they didn't and now they just made money off of me. Do that to 100 people and you made $1000. Great business plan.

Wrong part

I ordered caliper covers for my car Carid was quick to charge my credit card it took 3 weeks to get my covers. When I went to have installed mechanic stated they don't fit. I spoke to MGP the part maker they stated that they don't have a cover that fits my car. I email Carid this information and I get bounced around from person to person. They want pictures of the item item number package number just crazy I sent all of it and they still need to review may send return shipping in 3-5 days will never buy from them again

I've sent multiple emails about the products that never arrived and have requested a refund multiple times.

Two months after my initial order, they haven't fixed the issue and keep claiming they will.

In short, never buy anything from them. Let them go out of business.

I've been trying to return a birthday gift for an item that didn't work out (not to mention an item that was supposed to arrive by my birthday but arrived 3 weeks later). I've called customer service 5 times, and contacted them though their online chat service close to 10 times and still have not received my return label and still have my item sitting here waiting to be returned 2 months later. The chat agent today asked me "why are you still contacting us when your last email to us was Septmeber 25"? BECAUSE I STILL HAVEN'T RECEIVED A RETURN LABEL. It shouldn't take your customers 2 months of reaching out to your customer service to return an item with no success. Deplorable.

I ordered rims from them. My first issue is that I paid about $80 for shipping (you would think that there would be free shipping on an order over $600 but I guess not.) Even though I live in the US not too many states away from them. On the website they guaranteed the rims would fit, they didn't. So I asked for a full refund including shipping as it states you can get on the website. The customer service is extremely rude and unhelpful. The first person I spoke to was Nicole then Clint. Each email took about a week to get a response from. They gave me a partial refund. I was mind blown since I hadn't even taken the rims out of the box. Their reasoning was because I didn't force the rims on to the tires and take a picture (which would have damaged the rims then they wouldn't have given me a refund at all.) I will never be ordering from them again and I suggest you take your business somewhere reliable because that is not them.

I ordered a bumper cover for my 2015 Volkswagen Jetta. The item was never delivered I had to reach out to the shipper and R&L (Melissa) shipping stated they sent it back. I called CARiD and they refunded me the money for the item only. Customer service stated that R&L attempted to get a hold of me but could not get ahold of me so it was not their fault. I paid them them for shipping and the item but no item was delivered and the only thing a customer service manager could say was "oh well your not getting anything back". Stay away from these criminals. I would zero stars but this site does not let me.

I ordered a 1300. 00 carbon fiber hood for my gto. It was shipped to me by fright to my grandmas house becuase I work all hours. They dropped my hood off on Friday 10-16-3020 without a signature or without her looking at the hood. When I got home from work I opened the hood and there is damage to the hood in more then one spot. I called that day and everyday since then it has been over two weeks now and they continue to blow me off. Told me I was having a hood sent out on Tuesday 10-27-2020 and that I would get a email confirmation I still have not received a email confirmation and they are now telling me it is under review. I asked for a manager to talk to I can never get one on the phone and they say they will call me back and for the third time now and still I do not have a call back. I am going to all your sites and posting this review Amazon, eBay, etc I want a hood with no damage or my money back.the customer service I have got is completely inexcusable.

If there was an option for less stars I would give it. Absolute worst customer service experience of my life, I bought headlights from them they were faulty so I returned them under warranty and bought the same pair again in the meantime so I could have lights to drive. I was only refunded 400 dollars when I was told repeatedly I would be refunded the full price of 587. I literally have voicemails and emails with customer representatives telling me I would be receiving that refund, contacted them about they told me I would only receive the 400 and that was it. I talked to a manager they were no help at all. This place is full of a bunch of crooks they are only in it for the almighty dollar I urge you to take your business elsewhere.

Wrong place to Order!

It was the worth experience that I had in all of my life when I wanted to order; their agent(carid) told me maximum it takes 6 days including the weekend to receive your part, then they extended after 6 days to 9, and in the weekend of 9th days, they had not any excuse to answer my question, the part did not post, and finally, I cancelled the part, Including this weekend I lost 11 days and I paid 50$/Daily for rent a car, and they did it for me!
I prefer to do not buy anything from them.

Ordered a bumper for my truck was sent the wrong one, ordered a Go Rhino BR5.5 and received a BR10 it will not even fit my truck been trying for over a week to get the wrong one sent back and the correct one. I ordered three exhaust parts from this company. Two out of three were defective. They will not give me a return authorization even though I sent over 20 pictures showing the bubbles coming from defective welds on product. Every time I call I get the same exact story, we can't help you just have to keep waiting. It's been two weeks since I sent pictures and still no return authorization. I had to rent a car costing me over 300$ for two weeks. I am going to file in small claims court for reimbursement for my car rental and for the defective part. I unfortunately had to learn the hard way about this company, they don't assume any responsibility at all for selling you defective parts. I have documented everything and will get my day in court. Just can't believe a company would rather pay their attorney to show up in court for a $80 part... doesn't make sense.
Really just disappointed that a place would treat a customer this badly.

Great site, BAD business! I bought 2 Moog Ball Joints only to find out they were USED and DAMAGED. The directions had grease on it. Someone crimped it already and damaged the seal. They blamed it on the manufacture. It came from Kansas City MO. Moog is out of NJ. They said a manager would call me by the end of the day yet no one calls me. I email, no response. I called back, they have me on hold so far 28 minutes! Just enough time to write this up! Stay clear away! You have been warned!

You've been warned

I ordered an $800 dollar performance exhaust system which a UPS driver attempted to deliver protruding out of the box and badly damaged. I refused the order, took photos, and notified CARiD.com. This has been 3 weeks ago! They're refusing to ship a different unit. Whenever you call, you're transferred somewhere outside of the U.S. to speak to rude people who barely speak English. Their answer to everything is that I must wait 24-48 hours, in which I imagine is an attempt to find a reputable company who sells the system I ordered. I've requested a refund, and they're now telling me it can take 3-5 business days. This company is as close to a scam as I could ever imagine. I'll come back and edit in fairness if I receive a timely refund.

I recently ordered KYB Struts for my 2010 Honda Civic from CARiD. After four days, my strut package arrived, but only included one strut. The package, as weighed by UPS was 20#. Each individual strut weighs in at 17.75#. I immediately called Carid and they agreed that their supplier only shipped on strut instead of the two I ordered. I assumed that carid would immediately contact their supplier and expedite sending me my missing strut... WRONG. Here it is one week later and I learned that my missing strut is finally, after daily texts and follow ups by me, is being shipped today.
