So I bought two front wheel bearing hub assembly and two arm controls for my 2010 Cadillac.
Within three months, one of the arm controls went bad/defective. Then 12 months later hub assembly went bad. CARID, WILL NOT SEND YOU AN ADVANCED REPLACEMENT, UNTIL YOU SEND THE DEFECTIVE ONE BACK, ARE GOING TO KEEP YOUR CAR IN THE SHOP UNTIL THEY SEND YOU THE REPLACEMENT? OF COURSE NOT.
THIS IS THE SECOND BAD EXPERIENCE WITH CARID.

I highly recommend to not use Carid (Partsid). I generally never have a bad time with companies, but this is something out of a movie. I ordered a set of bumpers on February 9th, they charged me a crazy amount for shipping (I was willing to pay given I live in a remote location). After I had already paid, and the order got delayed repeatedly, they asked me to pay them even more for shipping…I declined and asked for a refund back, simple enough.
Of course, I was told that the refund would be issued in 24-72 hours no big deal. As of today, I am now over 50 days of waiting for my refund for a part that never even got shipped. The staff in outstandingly rude. I requested numerous times to get an explanation outside of "please wait 24-72 hours for an update" that they never send anyways, I requested manager call backs numerous times and it never happened, in fact one staff member stated that I need to just stop asking, wait and to STOP requesting manager call back because its "pointless".
Over and over its excuse after excuse. It's a different answer every time. Now I am being told that a check is being sent to me June 1st, and that I should receive it by June 30th. For a refund that was submitted on March 27th.
I promise you; you do not want to use them. It is a completely ridiculous company. I quite literally started searching around to see if Carid was a scam. Use extreme caution, I would honestly use other companies even if its more expensive because carid will fraud you out of your money if there is an issue with an order.

Purchased a set of steering stabilizers from Carid that came with a 3 year warranty. I contacted Carid informing them the parts have failed and needed a warranty replacement. I was told the parts were out of stock and they would be sending me a reimbursement check in 7-10 days. This was back on January 20th 2023. Waited well beyond the 7-10 days they claim it takes a envelope to go from NJ to Ca. Nothing. When I called regarding the matter every single person I spoke to on the phone or email is just a fat mouth liar. On April 28th I received a check in the mail that I soon found out was not honored by Carid's bank. Called again and it was the same story. A check is being sent on a certain day and to wait 7-10 days to receive it. After being told the same bs from 5 different people at Carid I was then sure I was dealing with a bunch of $#*! birds. I wouldn't use this establishment ever again. Hopefully they go out of business sooner than later.

They sent a defective part and refuse to replace it. They say that the part has a 90 day return, when I called the manufacturer they said it was 1 year. You go onto other sites selling the exact same part and even they say it's one year. Tried to explain this to them to see if they would make good, and all they do it hang up on you. They are selling defective parts knowingly, and scamming people by saying the return is shorter than it actually is. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE, THEY ARE A FRAUD!

This company sells aftermarket products that fail, then when it fails they make it cost you thousands of dollars to have the part Uninstalled to send it back to them so they can then send you the replacement and pay to have that installed... So tripple installation price because they sent out a failed product and no common sense to send a replacement part first. I even offered my credit card for a temporary hold until their part was returned and they refused. $#*! service, $#*! warranty, $#*! company. I encourage others to find better vendors with better policies.
Reference: the headlight they sent me started to melt, as shown in picture. They accepted the warranty but refused to work with me to save me money for re-installation of a part I shouldn't have to have reinstalled in the first place

I purchased an interior fit that was suppose to work on bmw 335i. I received it and there is no way it will work in my car. I called customer service he was going to send me an email and that i need to take some pictures showing why it want work on my car. I was told my item would take approx. 4 weeks, however over and over, this company kept saying this item is on back order and give me a new date weeks and weeks would go by and nothing. About 2 months worth of phone calls. Finally they said my item will be shipped out on a Friday and I would receive an email to confirm but never received it. I called them Monday morning and they said that my item will have a new ship date of a week and a half more. This company is a scam- they give you false information; borderline lying. I have cancelled my order and will never order from them again.

I ordered a set of 4 Rims for my car and lug nuts. The best part is they only sent me 3 rims and no lug nuts. Still waiting to hear back from them. Seems like from other reviews once I handle this I will never return to this site and Inform other to do the same. (Updated) so turns out they sent 2 Fedex shipments with 2 packages each. They never told me or sent me the tracking numbers for 2 of the packages. Mind you that you have to sign for these in order for them to be delivered. Best part is One of the rims was never even picked up by fedex. I called customer support and they said it could be a few days before they even figure out what is going on. I will keep updating this

I purchased some parts from this company back in September of 2022, and when I was purchasing one of the items I was promised that it had a 36 month warranty. Only to find out AFTER the purchase was complete that it was actually only a 12 month warranty. Still under warranty though, I informed them of the issues I was having and needed to to start the warranty return process. I was told they would be back in contact with my within 4 days. Here it is over 10 days later, and still no progress. I called to check the status of the warranty replacement, just to be told that I need to give them an additional 3-4 days to reach out to the manufacturer and "check the status". I have spent a rather decent amount of money with this company on parts in the past few years alone. But with the way they have gone downhill over the last year,...I will be taking my business (personal AND company) elsewhere. They have ZERO issues taking peoples money, but do not want to honor their LEGAL obligation to make sure their customers, (or rather the ones that pay their salaries) are taken care of and will continue to do business with them.

Partly my own fault as I should have looked at the poor reviews first. I'm past my estimated ship date and still no shipping info. So I guess my order hasn't been shipped yet. Over a week after I placed an order. It would be so bad if I hadn't had to lose more money on a reservation fee to have tires mounted. If I were Carid, I wouldn't hold my breath hoping for my continued business. You only get one chance to make a first impression, and you guys blew it. I purchased from Car ID, Bosch wiper blades on the assurance that they would fit my vehicle. I contacted them after their 30 day return period as I had an emergency and had to go overseas, which I told them. I was not asking for a refund, I was asking to switch them out for a different manufacturer's blades that fit. Their site falsely advertised these particular wipers as fitting my vehicle and so regardless of their 30 day policy, they did not work as promised. I went back and forth with their so called customer service dept and all they kept doing was quoting their 30 day return policy. Then they finally offered me a $10 gift voucher. What an insult. I will never use Car ID again.

I received the wrong item and immediately called. I had to go through the process of submitting pictures and also submitted a video to show that they shipped the wrong headlights. It's almost been a month and I still have not received a return merchandise authorization I am on my 6th round of them replying for we to wait 24-72 hours to process. Spent a few months away on another work project only to come home to see these rims in the house. CarID really did me dirt. CarID took months to deliver the rims, then only 2 showed up on my doorsteps. The existing rims i had on my jeep were so bent the whole front-end was shaking, so I was eager to mount the 2 that was delivered, on the front of the vehicle, and that's when the tire shop guy said "THEY DONT FIT". Sent an email explaining the situation. I was told to go to another tire shop. Did that same issue. Email sent again... Now I'm told to measure the wheels and send the info via email. Done... Now I'm told the correct size rims were sent and I inputted incorrect vehicle information. Checked my vehicle info like a million times and it was inputted correctly on the website. Now I'm told to buy new wheel hubs because mines are no good. However, I just bought 2x wheel hubs at AutoZone and they still don't fit. I cant even sell them online because i know not what size they are. Thats not even the worst part... I AM STUCK WITH AFFIR MONTHLY PAYMENTs!

Been going back and forth with CARiD for 3 months to return a seat cover purchased for a company truck. We ordered a rear seat cover. We received a front seat cover. It was obvious that it was the wrong cover but for weeks they insisted it was the right cover after we emailed them pictures they finally relented and agreed to return the item but have not / will not send a return label or RMA number for the return. Every time we call customer service, they tell us there's nothing they can do because it's being handled by their "back office" group. It's not being handled at all that's the problem!
