I order a spoiler (came damaged and didn't even fit) and a sway bar (was sent to neihbors that had opened it) I requested a refund and they asked me to take pictures of the product which I sent. And after that they just ghosted me. I still havent gotten my refund for these products that I can't even use. Avoid these guys. Customer service here is terrible.

Received a refurbed pump timely,returned my core to get deposit back,issue part sent had bent pulley sent back with photos no issue,then replied we no longer have stock and refunded my money. However when i requested my original core back trouble started they keep stating i was paid back but all they did was refund the deposit i paid them no compensation for the core they kept,i contacted their supplier and they showed me the refund of my core and the bad core however they are keeping those funds and refuse to compensate me for the core they kept so i now have no core to return to rock auto who has been awesome to deal with.Please avoid these folks they are terrible.

No product & No refund

Order wheels & tires in October. I received the tires, but 4 months later im told they can not fulfill my wheel order. Now i have $1000 worth of useless tires that they did not want to return. After debating it with them, they told me to send the tires back and they will refund me. They received the tires i returned 5+ weeks ago and i am still waiting for the refund to be processed. Apparently the return warehouse hasnt processed the return yet. Again, 5+ weeks ago they received them. How long does it take to scan the return and process a return? This has been a nightmare in every phase.

SCREWED AGAIN

Refunds are always a nightmare- they say no hassle no fees-- until you actually ask.
Put in an order over a weekend- monday called looking for tracking numbers-- they had no clue what was going on. Called back later- still no clue-- called the next day- canceled the item- they gave a cancellation notice- yet, they shipped anyway and now want restocking fees- and shipping fees-- meanwhile the webiste- said no hassle- no hidden costs.
They did the same crap to my son years ago- after they mailed the items to the worng address.

What they say and do are two diffrent things

I bought headlight from them there shipping company. Fed ex deliver to wrong address wrong house i paid 500 for them they house they deliver to. Was wrong address now they dont wat to accept responsibility replace then they refused to refund mi like the criminal thief

After purchasing my parts and before they arrived I was injured. This led me to surgery and rehabilitation. After 2 months recovering I was finally able to work on my vehicle. This is when I opened the packages. One package was as expected. The other was defective. Carid.com would not work with me because it was outside of their 30 day policy. This is a terrible example of customer service. How can I plan my injuries? When you are unable to work, do you open packages to inspect? I hope this wards you away from this fly by night terrible customer service company. Please, for your sake, find a more reputable company to do business with.

Horrible Experience

Horrible service, bought rims in December. It's now March and O still don't have them even though they have charged me and I have paid. Called customer service and they offered me $50 in compensation LOL

Do not shop here folks!

Their reply isn't even a good one. 3-4 weeks more (which is a lie) they couldn't lock in a real ETA of when they would ship. And they've been telling me 3-4 weeks for months now.

They also said they could ship the tires now (what good is that) and the rims once they arrive, which means I would have to have my shop then mount / balance / which would end up costing me more money which they also BTW wouldn't refund that portion.

Company is a straight up scam - do not order from them.

No communication stealing my money

Ordered back in December 1790$ was total with shipping they did not ship as it said online and now called multiple times kept getting run around even though they have it documented I wanted refund and cancel order nothing still.
They won't give me date that tires were mounted cause do to there policy that's when they are non refundable they even came up with some bs to beat my banks dispute before they even shipped
I denied the order cause I wanted my money don't trust them and want nothing to do with them they have my money I don't have tires I ordered and don't want them just my money back it is now march 1,2023
Also they sent shipping date on two different days makes no sense definitely don't trust this company

If we could give a -1star, that's what they would get. We ordered a bumper for a truck the beginning of Feb, we waited and waited, then weeks later no bumper? I called to find out where it was. They could not find it? So they canceled the order supposedly, we did not. (with no refund in site) So after that amount of time wasted I found the same bumper with the winch plate from 4 wheel Parts, the salesman was very professional and made sure it could be shipped out directly. One week later and it is to be here tomorrow.
AND to boot 4 Wheel Parts had that same bumper $200.00 cheaper. What a good thing for Carid's incompetence, saved us $200.00 and we are getting the bumper within a week. Carid did not contact us for a refund when they canceled, but are going to issue it now that I called, have not seen it yet.
So the moral of the story about doing business with Carid is, if you do not consider your time worth anything then do business with them. If your time is valuable then use 4 Wheel Parts.

Refund my money

Ordered a Gibson exhaust system on Dec 4,2022. After numerous emails and delays ordered was cancelled on Jan 27,2023. After 4 days CarID still refuses to refund my money.
Looking at eBay reviews this seems to be an ongoing problem within last month.

After ordering a product and paying for it, they sent the wrong item and told me they would ship the correct one within three to five business days.

When the part didn't show up and I called up, they said that the new one wouldn't be shipped until they received the wrong one which is two weeks.

They screwed up and they screw me because I had to pay the mechanic seventy dollars a day for holding the shop up with my car inside.

When I called to speak with a supervisor I was transferred from person to person while they refused to let me speak to a supervisor.

NEVER AGAIN BUYING FROM THESE $#*!S!

Rip-off Return Policy

Do not buy products from Carid. Their claim that they make returns is ludicrous. They deduct $12.99 for every item you return, even if you ordered them together. Businesses typically may charge for return shipping, but it is on the entire order or whichever parts of the order are returned. God forbid you order a box of screws! They could screw you for each one returned!

Terrible Company

I ordered a head gasket from Carid.com and they sent me the wrong item. I was not able to do the work immediately and when I opened the box and noticed that it was completely the wrong item, I was beyond the so-called "return period". I sent them an email requesting a refund and they refused. Ridiculous. This is not a question of a correct item being damaged in transit or the buyer selecting the incorrect item. When I order a part, I expect to receive the part I ordered.

I purchased both my front and back sets of brake rotors. The front set was correct but they took the longest to receive from the manufacturer, so CARiD did not send the rears until the whole order was ready. It took about 2.5 weeks to receive my rotors, and I received the WRONG rear set of brake rotors.

I contacted CARiD for a refund and was initially greeted with apologies asking for pictures of the box part # for proof before sending me a shipping label. However, I was then told that "the part # on the box doesn't exist, according to the manufacturer. You should be able to install the rotors." I clarified that I ordered the correct part # for my vehicle, and now they are claiming that no error was made on their part or the manufacturer's so they are deducting the shipping AND restocking fees from my refund.

I must also note that it is extremely suspicious that multiple different support agents are emailing me with different replies on my issue.

Complete bull$#*! customer service. I will never shop here again or suggest this place to anyone.

I received a headlight assembly that I ordered and received in November. For several reasons I didn't get to replace the light on my vehicle until early January. Upon opening the box I noticed the light harness receptacle was broken and down in the box. Most places have a 60-90 day return policy. So I got on the phone to start a return. I was told that they have a 30 day return policy. I reviewed my receipt but didn't see any return policy listed at all. I asked them to process a return since it was damaged but was told that "they are glad to inform [me] [we] can no longer process a damage claim for it because it's already outside of the 30..."

My issue is that they sent me a broken light and now I have no recourse because they failed to make the return time frame clear. Not sure how you send a broken light and not back up the product you sold? They are "GLAD" to inform me that they can no longer process a damage claim? They neglected to include the return timeframe on their receipts. Don't most honest places do that?

They did offer a partial refund of $50 but that just does not cut it when I spent $250 on a part that I can't use because it is broken! I do not recommend giving them your business.

Poor paint quality

I would not recommend this place, especially if you order anything that needs to be painted. This is from the box with chips and orange peeling. They claim it's a shipping issue…I'm not sure how orange peeling happens through shipping but thats their logic. And looks like from looking at their BBB, they have a history unsatisfactory reviews and their lack of willingness to help customers. So I would highly suggest looking at other options

Total ripoff..

Ordered an 800.00 part from this place.Part was for a 2016 mazda. Variator for cvt transmission. I recieved a completely wrong part.Sent the part back expecting a refund.No luck. Part was used to begin with.Which wasnt my complaint. Complaint was it wasnt the correct part. Their claiming my original call and complaint wasnt worded correctly.Just bs. I called the place and it sounds like an india chop shop. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place.

Beware of carid

I ordered an electronic part for my truck and the shipped a mechanical part not even closed to what I ordered. I called, initially was helped by a customer service rep who was very helpful, he verified that in fact the part shipped wasn't the part I ordered, in fact photos of part and box clearly indicated different part numbers. The I was contacted by someone else who want to help full but finally indicated I woul receive a return label for the return of the part and refund woul take some time. After waiting twelve days today I got a partial refund claiming that I ordered the wrong part therefore there was a charge, upon contacting the company and refreshing the issues, I was informed that they will reimburse me for the remaining of the part cost and this will take three to five more days. If anyone is in the business of purchasing goods from carid and wish to waste time and deal with an inefficient system and then wait forever for a refund, you are in the right track. This is what Carid. Com is all about. I will never purshase anything from them.
